the_o husband_n think_v upon_o their_o duty_n for_o although_o to_o speak_v proper_o they_o be_v not_o subject_a to_o their_o wife_n because_o their_o wife_n have_v no_o authority_n over_o they_o hypocrisy_n but_o also_o utter_o past_o shame_n when_o we_o fashion_v not_o ourselves_o like_a unto_o god_n and_o yet_o will_v needs_o be_v hold_v and_o take_v for_o his_o child_n true_a it_o be_v that_o too_o be_v so_o fashion_v like_o unto_o god_n and_o too_o resemble_v he_o so_o full_o as_o one_o man_n come_v near_o unto_o another_o be_v unpossible_a but_o yet_o must_v we_o not_o be_v out_o of_o heart_n for_o all_o that_o and_o sooth_o we_o must_v call_v too_o mind_n how_o the_o scripture_n say_v that_o if_o we_o go_v on_o too_o godward_o although_o we_o be_v far_o of_o from_o the_o mark_n that_o we_o be_o at_o yet_o do_v he_o accept_v that_o willingness_n of_o we_o when_o we_o keep_v our_o way_n and_o endeavour_n continual_o too_o go_v on_o forward_o still_o although_o we_o be_v from_o whence_o we_o be_v yet_o so_o far_o of_o but_o howsoever_o we_o fare_v yet_o will_v not_o our_o lord_n fail_v too_o esteem_v we_o always_o too_o be_v like_o he_o and_o too_o be_v true_a follower_n of_o he_o if_o we_o willing_o and_o without_o hypocrisy_n forgive_v they_o that_o have_v offend_v against_o we_o at_o leastwise_o after_o his_o example_n who_o have_v give_v we_o a_o pardon_n that_o be_v far_o great_a than_o all_o the_o pardon_n that_o can_v be_v get_v at_o our_o hand_n so_o as_o we_o bear_v with_o the_o vice_n and_o infirmity_n of_o our_o neighbour_n as_o we_o another_o and_o in_o do_v good_a and_o in_o be_v pitiful_a so_o then_o let_v we_o consider_v that_o in_o asmuch_o as_o god_n have_v make_v we_o his_o well-beloved_a child_n we_o i_o say_v which_o be_v his_o enemy_n and_o have_v nothing_o but_o filthiness_n in_o we_o and_o be_v clog_v with_o so_o many_o vice_n that_o we_o be_v worthy_a too_o be_v loathe_v of_o he_o and_o yet_o he_o have_v not_o let_v too_o love_v we_o it_o be_v good_a reason_n that_o we_o shall_v wink_v at_o many_o thing_n that_o may_v offend_v we_o and_o hinder_v our_o love_a of_o our_o neighbour_n and_o our_o hold_v with_o they_o and_o now_o saint_n paul_n have_v speak_v of_o god_n add_v also_o the_o example_n of_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ._n 16._o the_o heavenly_a father_n love_v the_o world_n so_o well_o that_o where_o he_o set_v he_o forth_o as_o a_o example_n for_o we_o and_o in_o stead_n of_o his_o glory_n 7._o take_v upon_o he_o all_o shame_n 21._o and_o in_o stead_n of_o his_o righteousness_n become_v sin_n 12._o not_o that_o he_o offend_v or_o have_v any_o blemish_n or_o spot_n in_o he_o but_o as_o bear_v the_o punishment_n of_o our_o sum_n in_o which_o respect_n also_o the_o scripture_n term_v furthermore_o too_o pull_v we_o the_o more_o down_o and_o too_o break_v the_o hard_a heartedness_n whereunto_o we_o be_v too_o much_o incline_v saint_n paul_n say_v that_o he_o offer_v a_o sacrifice_n of_o good_a savour_n unto_o god_n his_o father_n as_o if_o he_o shall_v say_v my_o friend_n have_v you_o once_o well_o weigh_v the_o grace_n and_o favour_n that_o be_v purchase_v you_o by_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n you_o will_v soon_o beat_v back_o all_o the_o wicked_a affection_n which_o make_v you_o to_o stomach_n thing_n and_o you_o will_v fight_v against_o they_o until_o you_o have_v quiet_o too_o his_o will_n it_o must_v not_o grieve_v we_o neither_o must_v we_o think_v it_o irksome_a and_o strange_a that_o every_o of_o we_o shall_v serve_v they_o who_o he_o be_v bind_v too_o serve_v and_o by_o that_o mean_a so_o maintain_v his_o degree_n as_o we_o may_v all_o link_v together_o under_o our_o head_n jesus_n christ_n and_o attain_v too_o the_o heavenly_a glory_n which_o he_o he_o the_o wife_n also_o for_o her_o part_n shall_v not_o be_v unprovided_a for_o now_o and_o then_o her_o husband_n may_v hap_v too_o be_v testy_a and_o riotous_a and_o too_o have_v small_a regard_n wheretoo_o god_n have_v call_v they_o some_o be_v ill_a husband_n and_o hunter_n of_o tavern_n and_o ale_n house_n or_o else_o play_v the_o unthrift_n in_o game_n and_o light_n behaviour_n some_o be_v whoremonger_n some_o glutton_n and_o some_o drunkard_n and_o so_o every_o woman_n may_v pretend_v some_o excuse_n too_o exempt_v herself_o from_o her_o duty_n but_o when_o we_o come_v too_o god_n we_o the_o same_o reason_n too_o show_v that_o it_o be_v not_o meet_v that_o the_o wife_n shall_v reign_v in_o equal_a degree_n with_o her_o husband_n say_v that_o the_o man_n come_v not_o of_o the_o woman_n but_o the_o woman_n of_o the_o man_n and_o that_o she_o be_v but_o a_o piece_n of_o his_o body_n for_o god_n can_v have_v create_v eve_n of_o the_o earth_n as_o well_o as_o he_o do_v adam_n but_o he_o will_v not_o nay_o rather_o he_o match_v the_o man_n and_o the_o woman_n together_o with_o such_o condition_n that_o the_o man_n know_v his_o wife_n too_o be_v as_o his_o own_o substance_n and_o flesh_n shall_v be_v induce_v thereby_o too_o love_v she_o as_o we_o shall_v see_v again_o hereafter_o and_o that_o the_o wife_n know_v hirâ—elf_n too_o have_v none_o other_o be_v but_o of_o god_n send_v thou_o into_o the_o world_n now_o the_o holy_a band_n that_o god_n have_v set_v among_o we_o be_v the_o bond_n between_o man_n and_o wife_n that_o be_v the_o cause_n why_o saint_n paul_n say_v that_o a_o man_n can_v love_v his_o wife_n but_o he_o must_v love_v himself_o and_o contrariwise_o that_o if_o he_o despise_v his_o wife_n or_o hate_v she_o it_o be_v all_o one_o as_o if_o he_o fall_v at_o odds_n with_o himself_o and_o be_v that_o possible_a heretofore_o he_o have_v exhort_v husband_n too_o do_v their_o duty_n by_o have_v a_o eye_n too_o the_o example_n of_o our_o lord_n too_o confirm_v the_o matter_n yet_o better_a which_o be_v that_o we_o be_v bone_n of_o his_o bone_n and_o flesh_n of_o his_o flesh_n in_o so_o say_v he_o do_v we_o too_o understand_v that_o when_o man_n do_v their_o duty_n it_o be_v too_o their_o own_o benefit_n for_o thereby_o they_o may_v taste_v the_o inestimable_a and_o infinite_a grace_n of_o god_n in_o that_o every_o man_n accord_v too_o his_o degree_n do_v in_o his_o marriage_n represent_v the_o union_n that_o be_v between_o themselves_o and_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ._n the_o thing_n therefore_o which_o saint_n paul_n intend_v under_o awe_n of_o our_o father_n and_o moother_n it_o be_v certain_a that_o we_o be_v so_o much_o the_o more_o unexcuzable_a if_o every_o of_o we_o submit_v not_o himself_o with_o meekness_n and_o humility_n and_o they_o that_o have_v follow_v the_o order_n of_o nature_n among_o the_o heathen_a and_o poor_a blind_a soul_n shall_v be_v our_o judge_n for_o who_o have_v stirr_v they_o up_o reasonable_a creature_n in_o who_o god_n have_v print_v his_o mark_n shall_v be_v put_v too_o such_o reproach_n it_o be_v tootoo_o far_o out_o of_o all_o square_a but_o such_o be_v the_o fruit_n of_o the_o disobedience_n and_o sin_n of_o our_o father_n adam_n that_o all_o thing_n be_v turn_v topsiteruie_o also_o on_o the_o other_o part_n inasmuch_o as_o servant_n be_v in_o such_o subjection_n it_o abuse_v the_o power_n that_o be_v give_v they_o nor_o too_o think_v that_o the_o thing_n which_o be_v grant_v they_o by_o the_o law_n of_o man_n be_v so_o rightful_a and_o unparciall_a before_o god_n as_o they_o can_v not_o be_v blame_v for_o it_o saint_n paul_n then_o counsel_v master_n too_o assuage_v the_o excess_n of_o their_o superiority_n but_o yet_o will_v he_o have_v their_o servant_n too_o submit_v themselves_o too_o it_o and_o too_o bear_v the_o yoke_n that_o be_v so_o hard_a and_o heavy_a now_o it_o may_v seem_v that_o he_o do_v servant_n wrong_v therein_o and_o that_o he_o shall_v rather_o have_v cry_v out_o against_o the_o common_a abuse_n that_o such_o outrage_n may_v have_v be_v lay_v down_o but_o we_o have_v two_o principle_n to_o remember_v to_o restrain_v we_o from_o attempt_v of_o any_o change_n the_o one_o be_v that_o forasmuch_o as_o it_o have_v be_v god_n will_v too_o put_v maynkynd_n into_o confusion_n and_o that_o all_o man_n both_o great_a and_o small_a shall_v be_v put_v in_o mind_n that_o adam_n have_v pervert_v the_o order_n of_o nature_n therefore_o s._n paul_n counsel_v servant_n to_o bear_v such_o subjection_n assure_v themselves_o that_o it_o come_v of_o god_n and_o therefore_o that_o they_o must_v take_v it_o patient_o the_o other_o be_v that_o the_o gospel_n serve_v not_o too_o change_v the_o common_a policy_n of_o the_o world_n and_o too_o make_v law_n that_o belong_v too_o the_o temporal_a state_n it_o be_v true_a that_o king_n prince_n and_o magistrate_n ought_v always_o too_o ask_v counsel_n at_o god_n mouth_n and_o too_o frame_v themselves_o unto_o his_o word_n but_o yet_o for_o all_o that_o our_o lord_n have_v give_v they_o liberty_n too_o make_v such_o law_n as_o they_o shall_v perceive_v too_o be_v meet_a and_o convenient_a for_o the_o government_n that_o be_v commit_v unto_o they_o howbeit_o they_o must_v call_v upon_o god_n too_o give_v they_o the_o spirit_n of_o wisdom_n and_o discretion_n and_o because_o they_o be_v not_o of_o ability_n too_o rule_v of_o themselves_o they_o must_v take_v advice_n and_o counsel_n at_o god_n word_n yet_o notwithstanding_o the_o doctrine_n of_o salvation_n which_o be_v call_v the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n 31._o and_o the_o thing_n that_o belong_v too_o the_o bridle_a of_o we_o in_o this_o world_n that_o man_n may_v know_v how_o too_o learning_n and_o deal_v with_o they_o in_o daily_a matter_n and_o in_o thing_n that_o may_v make_v with_o they_o and_o they_o be_v so_o skilful_a in_o debate_v their_o case_n that_o you_o will_v take_v they_o too_o be_v all_o man_n of_o law_n forasmuch_o then_o as_o man_n be_v so_o wily_a in_o seek_v their_o own_o commodity_n and_o profit_n too_o the_o hindrance_n of_o other_o saint_n paul_n do_v purposely_o set_v down_o singleness_n of_o heart_n which_o serve_v too_o sift_v all_o affection_n and_o too_o overthrow_v all_o thing_n that_o man_n can_v devise_v too_o hinder_v themselves_o from_o do_v of_o their_o duty_n now_o he_o set_v down_o purposely_o these_o word_n as_o serve_v the_o lord_n and_o it_o be_v the_o chief_a foundation_n that_o we_o have_v too_o lean_a unto_o when_o the_o case_n concern_v the_o do_n of_o any_o duty_n towards_o man_n for_o if_o we_o stick_v too_o creature_n we_o will_v say_v come_v we_o not_o all_o out_o of_o the_o ark_n of_o no_o why_o shall_v he_o be_v better_o esteem_v than_o i_o be_v it_o meet_v that_o i_o shall_v be_v put_v under_o his_o foot_n what_o reason_n be_v that_o and_o all_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o word_n which_o we_o hear_v every_o day_n for_o we_o have_v skill_n enough_o too_o allege_v exemption_n and_o so_o little_o do_v we_o think_v ourselves_o bind_v unto_o other_o that_o we_o think_v all_o other_o bind_v unto_o we_o the_o mark_n therefore_o that_o all_o man_n shoot_v at_o be_v that_o every_o man_n will_v be_v a_o lord_n and_o no_o man_n admit_v any_o subjection_n and_o so_o it_o will_v needs_o follow_v that_o we_o shall_v be_v as_o wild_a beast_n or_o rather_o as_o dog_n and_o cat_n as_o man_n say_v until_o we_o know_v that_o god_n like_v well_o of_o the_o seruis_fw-la that_o we_o do_v too_o creature_n if_o we_o be_v not_o thorough_o persuade_v of_o that_o we_o may_v well_o make_v some_o fair_a countenance_n and_o please_v man_n but_o out_o mind_n shall_v never_o be_v right_a and_o well_o dispose_v until_o we_o be_v come_v to_o the_o point_n that_o we_o know_v that_o our_o lord_n accept_v our_o seruis_fw-la but_o there_o be_v yet_o one_o other_o cause_n that_o may_v hinder_v we_o or_o rather_o cool_v we_o in_o the_o discharge_n of_o our_o duty_n towards_o other_o man_n and_o that_o be_v man_n unthankfulness_n for_o they_o who_o we_o pleasure_n do_v common_o 〈◊〉_d we_o no_o thank_n but_o rather_o think_v that_o we_o be_v make_v for_o none_o other_o purpose_n but_o too_o serve_v they_o when_o we_o see_v they_o requite_v our_o seruis_fw-la so_o evil_a it_o spite_v we_o and_o it_o be_v enough_o too_o make_v we_o leave_v of_o altogether_o now_o than_o it_o be_v needful_a for_o we_o too_o come_v back_o too_o that_o which_o saint_n paul_n tell_v we_o namely_o that_o god_n be_v above_o all_o degree_n and_o that_o he_o have_v superiority_n over_o the_o world_n will_v have_v every_o man_n employ_v himself_o with_o all_o humbleness_n and_o that_o all_o subjection_n which_o he_o have_v ordain_v in_o the_o world_n too_o remain_v firm_a and_o unviolable_a this_o be_v the_o effect_n of_o the_o thing_n that_o saint_n paul_n tell_v we_o here_o now_o first_o of_o all_o we_o have_v too_o mark_v the_o general_a article_n which_o i_o come_v now_o to_o touch_v which_o be_v that_o when_o we_o have_v superior_n over_o we_o we_o must_v not_o obey_v they_o as_o enforce_v 1._o but_o
cheerly_o heart_n now_o what_o be_v too_o be_v say_v of_o hire_a servant_n which_o may_v warn_v themselves_o away_o and_o have_v their_o wage_n pay_v they_o when_o they_o have_v serve_v out_o their_o year_n and_o be_v use_v and_o treat_v much_o more_o gentle_o and_o liberal_o than_o those_o poor_a slave_n be_v for_o they_o be_v fain_o too_o labour_v every_o one_o in_o his_o trade_n and_o craft_n they_o earn_v their_o bread_n they_o drink_v water_v many_o a_o time_n scarce_o their_o fill_n and_o they_o be_v shut_v up_o in_o cabane_n where_o they_o be_v enforce_v too_o do_v their_o task_n then_o if_o servant_n now_o adays_o can_v not_o stoop_v so_o low_o as_o too_o bear_v the_o state_n that_o god_n have_v lay_v upon_o their_o back_n it_o be_v certain_a that_o they_o be_v too-too_o unexcuzable_a as_o much_o be_v to_o be_v say_v of_o subject_n towards_o their_o magistrate_n therefore_o inasmuch_o as_o we_o see_v that_o our_o lord_n spare_v we_o we_o be_v so_o much_o the_o more_o bind_v too_o the_o subjection_n which_o s._n paul_n speak_v of_o here_o furthermore_o we_o have_v too_o weigh_v yet_o again_o the_o word_n where_o he_o speak_v of_o frank_a and_o free_a heart_a willingness_n for_o it_o be_v impossible_a for_o we_o too_o find_v any_o taste_n or_o savour_n in_o our_o state_n or_o calling_n of_o what_o sort_n so_o ever_o it_o be_v except_o we_o know_v it_o be_v for_o our_o benefit_n and_o welfare_n for_o we_o can_v reap_v no_o great_a profit_n of_o the_o serve_v of_o creature_n we_o must_v therefore_o resort_v always_o too_o our_o god_n and_o be_o at_o this_o mark_n namely_o that_o see_v he_o have_v be_v so_o good_a and_o gracious_a too_o we_o as_o too_o set_v we_o in_o this_o world_n and_o too_o maintain_v we_o here_o and_o too_o show_v himself_o so_o good_a a_o father_n towards_o we_o that_o all_o that_o ever_o we_o have_v do_v come_v of_o he_o we_o must_v show_v the_o reverence_n which_o we_o bear_v too_o his_o majesty_n and_o labour_n too_o please_v he_o in_o such_o wise_n as_o we_o stick_v not_o too_o be_v subject_a too_o man_n nor_o take_v it_o in_o grief_n or_o in_o scorn_n so_o shall_v our_o state_n be_v great_o sweeten_v when_o we_o know_v that_o god_n accept_v it_o in_o good_a worth_n at_o our_o hand_n and_o that_o also_o be_v the_o cause_n why_o he_o set_v these_o thing_n as_o one_o against_o another_o not_o too_o show_v any_o shall_v obey_v their_o master_n and_o this_o will_n of_o god_n must_v dispatch_v all_o objection_n that_o may_v hinder_v we_o or_o stop_v we_o when_o the_o devil_n tempt_v we_o too_o think_v any_o thing_n strange_a that_o be_v command_v we_o he_o intyce_v we_o too_o our_o destruction_n now_o then_o let_v we_o take_v god_n will_v as_o our_o sovereign_a welfare_n and_o perfect_a happiness_n assure_v our_o self_n that_o howsoever_o we_o be_v handle_v at_o his_o hand_n yet_o he_o love_v we_o still_o and_o have_v a_o eye_n too_o that_o which_o be_v good_a for_o we_o let_v that_o serve_v paul_n set_v down_o willingness_n that_o be_v too_o say_v that_o we_o shall_v do_v all_o thing_n with_o a_o good_a will_n and_o free_o and_o so_o shall_v we_o make_v our_o state_n leeâ—some_a and_o pleasant_a for_o as_o for_o they_o that_o do_v nothing_o but_o by_o force_n and_o constraint_n they_o can_v eschew_v the_o necessity_n of_o obey_v and_o yet_o in_o the_o mean_a while_o they_o be_v torment_n too_o themselves_o and_o work_v themselves_o more_o spite_n than_o they_o can_v receive_v by_o all_o the_o sorrow_n that_o they_o can_v allege_v for_o when_o we_o be_v handle_v rough_o by_o have_v do_v our_o duty_n we_o take_v our_o repast_n with_o praise_v of_o god_n we_o take_v our_o rest_n as_o a_o relief_n that_o he_o give_v we_o for_o our_o infirmity_n and_o besides_o this_o we_o will_v ever_o have_v a_o eye_n too_o the_o heavenly_a life_n and_o take_v courage_n at_o it_o too_o walk_v on_o though_o we_o have_v never_o so_o many_o stop_n you_o see_v then_o that_o god_n child_n too_o rigorous_a and_o froward_a he_o think_v with_o himself_o why_o what_o do_v i_o and_o so_o servant_n think_v themselves_o half_o quit_v if_o their_o master_n perform_v not_o their_o duty_n towards_o they_o but_o s._n paul_n declare_v express_o that_o although_o master_n be_v so_o cruel_a as_o they_o do_v by_o no_o mean_n spare_v such_o as_o be_v under_o their_o hand_n yet_o be_v not_o their_o superiority_n diminish_v thereby_o true_a it_o be_v that_o in_o respect_n of_o themselves_o such_o master_n be_v unworthy_a too_o have_v authority_n as_o we_o shall_v see_v hereafter_o but_o yet_o for_o all_o that_o he_o that_o be_v the_o inferior_a must_v hold_v himself_o still_o under_o the_o yoke_n because_o he_o see_v that_o god_n have_v so_o ordain_v it_o that_o be_v the_o effect_n of_o the_o thing_n which_o we_o have_v too_o bear_v in_o mind_n and_o on_o the_o other_o side_n saint_n paul_n forget_v not_o servant_n that_o he_o shall_v not_o procure_v they_o their_o right_n and_o that_o which_o belong_v too_o they_o for_o he_o command_v master_n too_o do_v the_o like_a too_o they_o not_o as_o maâ—e_n and_o matelyke_o as_o they_o say_v but_o so_o as_o master_n consider_v that_o although_o though_o the_o civil_a law_n lay_v the_o bridle_n loose_a in_o their_o neck_n yet_o do_v not_o god_n grant_v they_o leave_v too_o do_v what_o they_o listen_v but_o speak_v as_o well_o for_o the_o one_o as_o for_o the_o other_o which_o thing_n we_o must_v bear_v well_o in_o mind_n now_o for_o the_o master_n he_o give_v this_o rule_n namely_o that_o they_o must_v look_v well_o about_o they_o how_o they_o rule_v because_o they_o have_v a_o common_a master_n in_o heaven_n 11._o who_o accept_v no_o person_n as_o touch_v servant_n he_o say_v my_o friend_n though_o you_o have_v not_o down_o all_o loftiness_n according_a as_o saint_n paul_n speak_v in_o the_o second_o too_o the_o corinthian_n 5._o where_o he_o say_v that_o commission_n be_v give_v too_o all_o shepherd_n and_o minister_n of_o the_o gospel_n too_o pull_v down_o the_o pride_n of_o man_n and_o too_o subdue_v their_o over_o loftiness_n when_o they_o will_v needs_o exalt_v themselves_o against_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n and_o step_v up_o against_o his_o doctrine_n so_o as_o they_o will_v not_o submit_v themselves_o too_o his_o yoke_n the_o way_n then_o for_o minister_n of_o god_n word_n too_o discharge_v their_o office_n faithful_o be_v too_o exhort_v the_o mean_a sort_n too_o do_v their_o duty_n and_o the_o poor_a and_o oppress_v too_o bear_v their_o state_n patient_o without_o reply_v howsoever_o they_o fare_v and_o without_o grudge_v against_o man_n because_o that_o in_o so_o do_v they_o shall_v rebel_v against_o god._n but_o on_o the_o other_o side_n also_o he_o tell_v the_o day_n sith_o the_o paymin_n speak_v so_o without_o have_v any_o other_o understand_v than_o their_o mother_n wit_n avord_v they_o what_o excuse_n be_v there_o now_o adays_o for_o such_o as_o be_v train_v up_o in_o god_n school_n where_o there_o be_v a_o brotherhood_n between_o both_o great_a and_o small_a and_o where_o the_o master_n ought_v too_o become_v fellowlie_o with_o their_o servant_n because_o they_o have_v all_o one_o hope_v of_o the_o endless_a life_n if_o they_o that_o have_v power_n above_o other_o will_v needs_o set_v their_o foot_n upon_o their_o throat_n by_o abuse_v the_o right_a of_o their_o authority_n what_o a_o thing_n be_v it_o so_o then_o so_o much_o the_o more_o ought_v both_o the_o one_o and_o the_o other_o sort_n of_o we_o too_o think_v how_o too_o walk_v in_o our_o own_o state_n and_o calling_n so_o as_o the_o inferior_a sort_n grudge_v not_o that_o our_o lord_n suffer_v they_o too_o be_v abandon_v too_o so_o many_o wrong_n too_o this_o worldward_n and_o too_o be_v so_o mock_v and_o scorn_v but_o that_o although_o they_o shall_v endure_v a_o hundred_o time_n as_o much_o yet_o they_o repine_v not_o against_o god_n because_o it_o be_v but_o a_o kick_v against_o the_o spur_n and_o the_o great_a sort_n also_o do_v the_o like_a that_o be_v too_o say_v that_o they_o consider_v that_o the_o near_a god_n have_v draw_v they_o too_o himself_o in_o give_v they_o pre-eminence_n the_o more_o will_v he_o also_o have_v they_o too_o fashion_n themselves_o too_o his_o image_n and_o likeness_n and_o what_o shall_v we_o find_v in_o god_n but_o goodness_n according_a as_o we_o see_v that_o throughout_o all_o the_o scripture_n he_o be_v call_v the_o fountain_n of_o all_o lowliness_n gentleness_n and_o mercy_n and_o therefore_o let_v such_o as_o be_v heavenly_a father_n etc_n etc_n the_o xlv_o sermon_n which_o be_v the_o three_o upon_o the_o six_o chapter_n 10._o moreover_o my_o brethren_n be_v strong_a in_o the_o lord_n and_o in_o the_o there_o shall_v be_v noth_z 〈◊〉_d riches_n nor_o poverty_n honour_n nor_o baseness_n we_o must_v all_o appear_v as_o we_o be_v that_o be_v too_o say_v mortal_a man_n and_o child_n of_o adam_n that_o be_v it_o in_o effect_n which_o we_o have_v too_o gather_v upon_o that_o lesson_n after_o saint_n paul_n have_v show_v every_o man_n duty_n particular_o now_o he_o return_v again_o too_o general_a find_v such_o stubornnesse_n in_o himself_o as_o he_o shall_v not_o be_v able_a too_o overcome_v his_o wicked_a lust_n but_o by_o fight_a manful_o and_o though_o you_o be_v weak_a yet_o think_v not_o that_o that_o ought_v to_o serve_v for_o excuse_n when_o your_o passion_n on_o the_o one_o side_n be_v stubborn_a and_o rebellious_a against_o god_n and_o yourselves_o on_o the_o other_o side_n be_v frail_a think_v not_o that_o that_o shall_v quit_v you_o before_o god_n for_o you_o shall_v be_v condemn_v in_o your_o sin_n nevertheless_o what_o be_v too_o be_v do_v then_o be_v you_o strong_a in_o the_o lord_n say_v he_o that_o be_v too_o say_v whereas_o most_o man_n do_v welter_v in_o their_o sin_n and_o think_v themselves_o discharge_v because_o their_o thought_n and_o affection_n be_v so_o rebellious_a against_o the_o righteousness_n of_o god_n you_o know_v all_o the_o same_o misery_n must_v mislike_v of_o yourselves_o for_o they_o and_o seek_v the_o remedy_n of_o they_o and_o what_o be_v that_o strengthen_v yourselves_o that_o be_v too_o say_v we_o must_v enforce_v ourselves_o as_o if_o he_o shall_v say_v it_o be_v a_o hard_a thing_n too_o walk_v aright_o for_o we_o shall_v have_v as_o many_o impediment_n as_o may_v be_v the_o devil_n will_v not_o cease_v too_o seek_v all_o mean_n possible_a too_o thrust_v we_o out_o of_o the_o way_n and_o we_o shall_v have_v store_n of_o oppression_n and_o vexation_n for_o he_o have_v slyghte_n enough_o and_o too_o many_o and_o beside_o that_o he_o assail_v we_o now_o after_o one_o manner_n and_o now_o after_o another_o and_o we_o have_v not_o wherewith_o too_o resist_v he_o therefore_o it_o behove_v we_o too_o get_v strength_n too_o us._n howbeit_o he_o say_v in_o the_o lord_n least_o man_n shall_v imagine_v themselves_o word_n for_o first_o we_o see_v that_o we_o must_v not_o be_v slothful_a if_o we_o covet_v too_o rule_v our_o life_n according_a too_o god_n will_v but_o forasmuch_o as_o every_o man_n bear_v with_o himself_o and_o we_o desire_v nothing_o but_o too_o shake_v of_o all_o care_n and_o too_o cast_v the_o thing_n at_o our_o back_n as_o they_o say_v which_o may_v trouble_v we_o too_o the_o end_n we_o be_v not_o so_o nice_a we_o must_v mark_v first_o of_o all_o that_o if_o we_o will_v serve_v god_n we_o must_v enforce_v ourselves_o and_o that_o be_v as_o much_o to_o say_v as_o we_o must_v fight_v against_o the_o devil_n for_o as_o i_o say_v afore_o he_o be_v not_o idle_a neither_o will_v he_o suffer_v any_o of_o we_o to_o do_v our_o duty_n with_o such_o ease_n as_o though_o we_o do_v but_o unto_o we_o that_o he_o have_v vouchsafe_v to_o be_v knit_v in_o the_o bond_n of_o brotherhood_n with_o we_o that_o be_v do_v special_o when_o he_o work_v so_o by_o the_o power_n of_o his_o holy_a spirit_n that_o he_o be_v our_o head_n and_o we_o be_v gather_v together_o in_o he_o and_o have_v a_o heavenly_a state_n and_o whereas_o afore_o we_o have_v nothing_o but_o of_o the_o earh_n and_o consequent_o have_v nothing_o in_o we_o but_o corruption_n now_o we_o be_v lift_v up_o on_o high_a and_o be_v make_v the_o child_n of_o god_n by_o the_o grace_n that_o be_v speak_v of_o here_o whereas_o erst_o we_o be_v heir_n of_o his_o wrath_n which_o we_o hold_v from_o our_o father_n adam_n when_o we_o follow_v his_o nature_n because_o we_o be_v all_o lose_v and_o pervert_v in_o he_o thus_o you_o see_v in_o effect_n how_o the_o two_o thing_n be_v too_o be_v agree_v wherein_o there_o seem_v too_o be_v some_o diversity_n and_o in_o deed_n if_o we_o have_v not_o that_o what_o will_v become_v of_o we_o how_o miserable_a will_v our_o state_n be_v i_o have_v show_v already_o that_o if_o any_o man_n look_v well_o what_o be_v in_o himself_o he_o shall_v find_v nothing_o there_o but_o matter_n too_o separate_v he_o from_o god_n now_o then_o until_o we_o be_v of_o the_o substance_n of_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n god_n must_v needs_o hate_v we_o and_o abhor_v we_o and_o not_o know_v we_o too_o be_v of_o the_o number_n and_o company_n of_o his_o creature_n now_o remain_v too_o see_v how_o it_o come_v to_o pass_v that_o we_o be_v of_o the_o bone_n of_o jesus_n christ_n and_o of_o his_o flesh_n for_o he_o be_v in_o heaven_n and_o we_o be_v here_o beneath_o on_o earth_n again_o when_o we_o be_v beget_v every_o of_o we_o be_v beget_v after_o the_o order_n of_o nature_n he_o have_v his_o father_n and_o his_o mother_n too_o come_v of_o and_o they_o be_v of_o the_o same_o race_n that_o he_o be_v how_o then_o be_v we_o of_o the_o bone_n of_o jesus_n christ_n it_o be_v not_o in_o respect_n of_o substance_n for_o if_o we_o look_v upon_o our_o own_o flesh_n neither_o the_o skin_n nor_o the_o bone_n nor_o the_o gristle_n that_o we_o have_v do_v come_v of_o the_o body_n of_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n but_o it_o be_v in_o respect_n that_o the_o cursedness_n which_o we_o bring_v from_o our_o moother_n womb_n and_o be_v spread_v over_o all_o adam_n lineage_n be_v take_v yet_o he_o continue_v still_o in_o his_o full_a state_n all_o the_o while_n neither_o do_v that_o hinder_v we_o too_o enjoy_v the_o inestimable_a benefit_n that_o s._n paul_n magnify_v so_o much_o in_o this_o text_n and_o therewithal_o let_v we_o bear_v this_o point_n in_o mind_n that_o it_o be_v much_o when_o we_o be_v inward_o stir_v up_o to_o do_v every_o man_n his_o duty_n for_o thereby_o that_o belong_v too_o the_o heritage_n of_o the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n must_v it_o not_o needs_o be_v that_o we_o be_v too_o unthankful_a if_o we_o consider_v not_o how_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n labour_v by_o all_o mean_n too_o win_v we_o and_o too_o make_v we_o walk_v under_o his_o yoke_n and_o moreover_o he_o not_o only_o allure_v we_o by_o gentle_a and_o love_a mean_n too_o the_o
