in_o the_o matter_n of_o resistance_n can_v he_o not_o sit_v down_o satisfy_v if_o he_o can_v then_o he_o may_v think_v that_o these_o two_o may_v be_v separate_v in_o exercise_n and_o practice_n in_o other_o case_n as_o well_o as_o in_o his_o own_o unless_o the_o fault_n be_v on_o the_o magistrate_n side_n thus_o be_v answer_v also_o what_o he_o have_v p_o ag_n 49._o for_o it_o be_v but_o the_o same_o thing_n which_o he_o have_v in_o the_o place_n before_o consider_v he_o be_v tedious_a in_o his_o repetition_n and_o therefore_o we_o proceed_v to_o our_o argument_n and._n 1._o if_o humanity_n brotherly_a affection_n christian_n love_n tenderness_n and_o compassion_n to_o a_o suffer_a injure_a brother_n call_v for_o help_n and_o relief_n at_o the_o hand_n of_o other_o according_a to_o their_o power_n and_o capacity_n then_o none_o can_v just_o blame_v or_o condemn_v the_o late_a riser_n for_o endeavour_v in_o their_o place_n &_o according_a to_o their_o power_n the_o relief_n of_o their_o oppress_a brethren_n with_o violence_n when_o no_o other_o mean_a be_v leave_v feasible_a or_o practicable_a their_o solemn_a covenant_n do_v engage_v they_o to_o account_v each_o injury_n do_v unto_o any_o covenanter_n upon_o that_o account_n as_o do_v unto_o themselves_o and_o to_o vindicate_v and_o maintain_v the_o libertye_n of_o the_o subject_n in_o all_o these_o thing_n which_o concern_v their_o conscience_n person_n and_o estate_n and_o who_o can_v blame_v they_o for_o pay_v their_o vow_n unto_o god_n 2._o if_o this_o same_o duty_n be_v express_o require_v of_o the_o people_n of_o god_n of_o old_a that_o they_o shall_v endeavour_v to_o relieve_v the_o oppress_a and_o to_o prevent_v the_o shed_n of_o innocent_a blood_n then_o none_o can_v just_o blame_v those_o late_a valiant_a vindicator_n of_o justice_n and_o reliever_n of_o the_o oppress_a but_o the_o former_a be_v true_a as_o the_o place_n above_o cite_v do_v show_v therefore_o etc._n etc._n 3._o if_o their_o forebearing_n have_v make_v they_o guilty_a before_o god_n of_o the_o oppression_n and_o bloodshed_n commit_v when_o it_o be_v in_o their_o power_n to_o help_v it_o then_o they_o can_v not_o forbear_v to_o do_v what_o they_o do_v without_o sin_n but_o the_o former_a be_v true_a the_o very_a egyptian_n know_v so_o much_o by_o the_o light_n of_o nature_n when_o by_o their_o law_n such_o as_o do_v not_o relieve_v the_o oppress_v when_o it_o be_v in_o their_o power_n be_v accuse_v upon_o their_o head_n and_o if_o they_o be_v not_o able_a to_o help_v they_o be_v bind_v to_o accuse_v the_o oppressor_n or_o else_o they_o be_v to_o be_v whip_v &_o to_o endure_v three_o day_n hunger_n i_o shall_v close_v this_o chapter_n as_o i_o do_v the_o former_a with_o a_o testimony_n of_o famous_a mr._n knox_n that_o it_o may_v be_v see_v to_o be_v no_o new_a doctrine_n of_o we_o in_o his_o admonition_n to_o the_o commonalty_n of_o scotland_n he_o have_v these_o word_n near_o the_o end_n these_o vain_a excuse_n i_o say_v will_v nothing_o avail_v you_o in_o the_o presence_n of_o god_n who_o require_v no_o less_o of_o the_o subject_n then_o of_o their_o ruler_n and_o if_o you_o think_v that_o you_o be_v innocent_a because_o you_o be_v not_o the_o chief_a actor_n of_o such_o iniquity_n you_o be_v utter_o deceive_v for_o god_n do_v not_o only_o punish_v the_o chief_a offender_n but_o with_o they_o do_v he_o condemn_v the_o consenter_n to_o such_o iniquity_n and_o all_o be_v judge_v to_o consent_n that_o know_v impiety_n commit_v give_v no_o testimony_n that_o the_o same_o displease_v they_o to_o speak_v this_o matter_n more_o plain_a as_o your_o prince_n and_o ruler_n be_v criminal_a with_o your_o bishop_n of_o all_o idolatry_n commit_v and_o of_o all_o the_o innocent_a blood_n that_o be_v shed_v for_o the_o testimony_n of_o christ_n truth_n and_o that_o because_o they_o maintain_v they_o in_o their_o tyranny_n so_o be_v you_o i_o mean_v so_o many_o of_o you_o as_o give_v no_o plain_a confession_n to_o the_o
