world_n be_v it_o so_o that_o one_o that_o have_v a_o title_n to_o heaven_n have_v cause_n of_o joy_n in_o the_o midst_n of_o his_o great_a forrow_n and_o trouble_n then_o first_o of_o all_o here_o be_v matter_n of_o trial_n and_o examination_n for_o we_o to_o try_v ourselves_o whether_o we_o have_v a_o title_n to_o heaven_n or_o no_o we_o will_v all_o rejoice_v to_o have_v somewhat_o which_o have_v hear_v and_o learned_a and_o receive_v from_o he_o by_o the_o holiness_n of_o his_o life_n and_o conversation_n the_o lord_n will_v be_v gracious_o present_a with_o that_o man_n as_o a_o pilot_n to_o guide_v he_o as_o a_o rock_n to_o sustain_v he_o and_o as_o a_o fountain_n of_o live_a water_n to_o minister_v all_o fullness_n to_o he_o in_o the_o prosecution_n of_o this_o doctrine_n have_v show_v you_o how_o the_o lord_n will_v be_v present_a with_o they_o that_o walk_v in_o obedience_n with_o he_o i_o shall_v give_v you_o the_o reason_n evince_v it_o and_o so_o come_v to_o the_o practical_a improvement_n of_o the_o whole_a by_o way_n of_o use_n and_o application_n first_o therefore_o by_o way_n of_o explication_n the_o lord_n will_v be_v gracious_o present_a with_o those_o that_o walk_v in_o obedience_n with_o he_o these_o eight_o way_n 1._o by_o way_n of_o gracious_a acceptation_n never_o do_v any_o man_n yet_o study_v to_o approve_v himself_o to_o god_n in_o a_o way_n of_o dutiful_a obedience_n but_o the_o lord_n also_o be_v present_a with_o he_o in_o a_o way_n of_o gracious_a acceptance_n a_o wicked_a man_n not_o study_v obedience_n to_o god_n find_v no_o acceptance_n with_o he_o in_o aught_o that_o he_o do_v the_o sigh_n of_o a_o wicked_a man_n be_v unsavoury_a his_o solemn_a sacrifice_n be_v as_o dung_n and_o his_o prayer_n be_v abominable_a god_n will_v not_o come_v near_o he_o for_o his_o breath_n be_v infectious_a but_o for_o those_o that_o live_v up_o to_o their_o knowledge_n god_n high_o favour_v they_o and_o take_v all_o that_o they_o oftentimes_o come_v to_o god_n with_o break_a praver_n but_o if_o we_o be_v such_o as_o make_v it_o our_o care_n to_o practise_v what_o we_o have_v hear_v and_o learned_a and_o receive_v god_n spell_n can_v out_o our_o meaning_n and_o will_v take_v our_o weak_a performance_n as_o a_o most_o grateful_a present_v 2_o cor._n 8.12_o 2._o by_o way_n of_o direction_n the_o pilot_n by_o his_o presence_n in_o the_o ship_n and_o by_o his_o skill_n and_o activity_n turn_v the_o rudder_n of_o the_o ship_n and_o guide_v the_o course_n thereof_o steer_v a_o right_a course_n towards_o the_o desire_a haven_n so_o god_n as_o a_o spiritual_a pilot_n be_v present_a in_o the_o ship_n of_o every_o obedient_a soul_n guide_v it_o by_o his_o counsel_n and_o enable_v it_o by_o the_o direction_n and_o guidance_n of_o his_o own_o holy_a spirit_n to_o steer_v a_o right_a course_n to_o the_o haven_n of_o eternal_a rest_n by_o nature_n we_o understand_v not_o the_o thing_n of_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n neither_o indeed_o can_v we_o because_o they_o be_v spiritual_o discern_v but_o say_v christ_n if_o any_o man_n will_v do_v his_o will_n he_o shall_v know_v of_o the_o doctrine_n whether_o it_o be_v of_o god_n john_n 7.17_o knowledge_n be_v the_o pilot_n to_o guide_v we_o in_o our_o obedience_n if_o zeal_n be_v not_o according_a to_o knowledge_n it_o be_v will-worship_n and_o there_o be_v no_o better_a way_n to_o become_v know_v than_o by_o do_v and_o practise_v what_o we_o have_v already_o learned_a the_o disobedient_a and_o ungodly_a be_v in_o darkness_n until_o now_o neither_o can_v they_o discern_v as_o they_o ought_v what_o concern_v their_o everlasting_a peace_n but_o the_o secret_a of_o the_o lord_n be_v with_o they_o that_o fear_v he_o endeavour_v to_o do_v what_o they_o know_v and_o he_o will_v teach_v they_o the_o way_n that_o they_o shall_v choose_v psal_n 25_o 12_o 14._o oh_o then_o how_o great_a be_v this_o privilege_n that_o god_n will_v resolve_v our_o doubt_n acquaint_v we_o what_o be_v his_o will_n and_o give_v his_o spirit_n to_o lead_v we_o into_o all_o necessary_a truth_n when_o we_o make_v it_o our_o care_n to_o answer_v our_o knowledge_n with_o suitable_a practice_n he_o that_o do_v not_o what_o he_o know_v shall_v not_o short_o know_v what_o to_o do_v

who_o name_n i_o have_v preach_v to_o you_o that_o i_o have_v preach_v the_o way_n of_o the_o lord_n sincere_o and_o faithful_o as_o i_o have_v receive_v of_o the_o lord_n by_o the_o teach_n of_o his_o spirit_n through_o the_o word_n i_o therefore_o beseech_v and_o entreat_v you_o out_o of_o that_o hearty_a love_n i_o bear_v to_o you_o and_o that_o affectionate_a care_n i_o have_v for_o you_o that_o as_o you_o tender_v the_o glory_n of_o god_n your_o own_o peace_n here_o and_o eternal_a happiness_n hereafter_o and_o the_o spiritual_a and_o eternal_a good_a of_o other_o that_o you_o will_v remember_v how_o you_o have_v hear_v and_o receive_v and_o keep_v the_o way_n of_o the_o lord_n in_o the_o prosecute_n of_o this_o i_o shall_v speak_v to_o these_o two_o thing_n first_o open_v this_o duty_n in_o a_o few_o particular_n second_o give_v you_o some_o direction_n to_o help_v you_o herein_o for_o the_o first_o of_o these_o take_v it_o in_o these_o particular_n 1._o be_v exhort_v to_o keep_v the_o way_n of_o the_o lord_n in_o your_o memory_n so_o rev._n 3_o 3._o remember_v therefore_o how_o thou_o have_v receive_v and_o hear_v and_o hold_v fast_o i_o be_o speak_v to_o those_o that_o have_v receive_v the_o knowledge_n of_o the_o way_n of_o the_o lord_n that_o they_o retain_v what_o they_o have_v learn_v and_o that_o they_o maintain_v a_o actual_a remembrance_n of_o it_o and_o the_o rather_o take_v heed_n to_o this_o every_o one_o of_o you_o with_o the_o great_a diligence_n for_o that_o you_o be_v like_a to_o be_v deprive_v of_o the_o help_n of_o your_o remembrancer_n viz._n the_o faithful_a minister_n of_o christ_n 1_o tim._n 4.6_o you_o have_v have_v their_o help_n a_o lâ—ng_a while_n in_o put_v you_o from_o sabbath_n to_o sabbath_n in_o remembrance_n but_o this_o be_v take_v from_o you_o as_o the_o apostle_n in_o another_o case_n heb._n 2.1_o therefore_o you_o ought_v to_o give_v the_o more_o earnest_a heed_n to_o the_o thing_n you_o have_v hear_v
