ministry_n of_o the_o word_n he_o also_o show_v what_o manner_n of_o word_n it_o be_v that_o they_o must_v preach_v &_o teach_v to_o the_o people_n that_o be_v that_o most_o comfortable_a tiding_n of_o holy_a gospel_n go_v forth_o say_v he_o preach_v the_o gospel_n to_o all_o creature_n gospel_n gospel_n but_o what_o be_v the_o gospel_n it_o be_v a_o glad_a tiding_n wherein_o be_v offer_v &_o give_v to_o we_o for_o christ_n merit_n without_o any_o deserve_n upon_o our_o behalf_n but_o of_o mere_a grace_n remission_n of_o sin_n righteousness_n and_o eternal_a life_n and_o this_o preach_n not_o join_v with_o it_o doubtless_o the_o water_n shall_v be_v nothing_o but_o still_o remain_v water_n but_o join_v the_o word_n to_o it_o and_o consider_v well_o the_o commandment_n annex_v to_o it_o then_o shall_v not_o the_o water_n be_v simple_a water_n but_o as_o s._n paul_n call_v it_o it_o be_v a_o wash_v of_o regentration_n &_o of_o new_a birth_n and_o renew_v of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n in_o the_o begin_n of_o the_o gospel_n for_o the_o sign_n that_o be_v wrought_v in_o the_o begin_n of_o the_o gospel_n be_v very_o pleasant_a if_o you_o compare_v they_o to_o those_o sign_n that_o be_v show_v in_o the_o begin_n of_o the_o law_n and_o the_o preach_n of_o the_o gospel_n also_o be_v far_o more_o glad_a tiding_n &_o more_o comfortable_a to_o the_o heart_n then_o be_v moses_n with_o all_o his_o precept_n &_o law_n now_o in_o our_o time_n to_o require_v like_o miracle_n and_o sign_n it_o be_v unsit_v unreasonable_a and_o unlawful_a but_o if_o we_o will_v so_o do_v christ_n answer_v and_o say_v 8._o mat._n 8._o this_o advouterous_a generation_n seek_v a_o sign_n and_o other_o shall_v not_o be_v give_v to_o it_o but_o the_o sign_n of_o the_o prophet_n jonas_n etc._n
