death_n of_o jesus_n christ_n and_o our_o communion_n with_o he_o hitherto_o we_o go_v along_o with_o the_o gentleman_n of_o the_o roman_a church_n they_o believe_v as_o we_o do_v that_o it_o be_v necessary_a we_o be_v spiritual_o unite_v unto_o jesus_n christ_n that_o this_o union_n be_v make_v by_o faith_n that_o it_o be_v the_o holy_a spirit_n which_o produce_v this_o faith_n in_o our_o with_o jesus_n christ_n in_o the_o conjugal_a love_n which_o unite_v husband_n and_o wife_n and_o which_o be_v the_o reason_n that_o the_o scripture_n say_v that_o they_o be_v but_o one_o body_n and_o one_o soul_n however_o the_o matter_n stand_v it_o be_v very_o observable_a in_o this_o case_n that_o this_o difficulty_n such_o as_o it_o be_v be_v common_a with_o we_o and_o they_o of_o the_o church_n of_o rome_n and_o that_o it_o proceed_v not_o more_o or_o less_o from_o hence_o that_o our_o doctrine_n be_v different_a from_o they_o they_o believe_v the_o same_o as_o we_o do_v the_o spiritual_a union_n of_o the_o faithful_a with_o jesus_n christ_n by_o the_o operation_n of_o the_o holy_a spirit_n as_o we_o have_v just_a now_o say_v as_o well_o in_o the_o preach_n of_o the_o gospel_n as_o in_o baptism_n and_o the_o eucharist_n they_o conceive_v not_o at_o all_o this_o spiritual_a union_n any_o better_a than_o we_o nor_o explain_v themselves_o otherwise_o therein_o than_o into_o their_o stomach_n do_v not_o add_v any_o thing_n at_o all_o according_a to_o their_o own_o principle_n either_o to_o effect_v or_o make_v understand_v this_o spiritual_a union_n which_o we_o have_v with_o jesus_n christ_n which_o be_v the_o only_a and_o true_a cause_n of_o our_o salvation_n for_o they_o do_v not_o deny_v that_o those_o who_o receive_v baptism_n without_o the_o word_n and_o without_o the_o eucharist_n or_o baptism_n and_o the_o word_n without_o the_o same_o eucharist_n may_v be_v save_v and_o unite_v perpetual_o unto_o jesus_n christ_n as_o well_o as_o they_o who_o receive_v also_o the_o eucharist_n neither_o do_v they_o say_v that_o the_o body_n of_o jesus_n christ_n which_o they_o do_v believe_v they_o receive_v into_o their_o stomach_n be_v unite_v unto_o their_o soul_n or_o unto_o their_o body_n by_o his_o presence_n nor_o even_o that_o the_o substance_n of_o their_o body_n or_o of_o their_o soul_n do_v touch_v the_o substance_n of_o the_o body_n that_o in_o these_o place_n where_o their_o author_n speak_v of_o image_n this_o term_n of_o adoration_n do_v not_o signify_v a_o sovereign_a and_o absolute_a adoration_n such_o as_o be_v give_v unto_o god_n but_o only_o a_o veneration_n or_o relative_a honour_n as_o they_o speak_v why_o will_v they_o not_o allow_v that_o in_o those_o few_o place_n where_o those_o other_o author_n speak_v of_o the_o sacrament_n the_o adoration_n whereof_o they_o speak_v may_v not_o also_o be_v a_o honour_n or_o â—eneration_n which_o be_v render_v unto_o the_o sacred_a mystery_n it_o be_v true_a as_o the_o bishop_n of_o condom_n affirm_v that_o the_o church_n of_o rome_n not_o acknowledge_v any_o other_o substance_n in_o the_o sacrament_n but_o the_o body_n of_o jesus_n christ_n we_o do_v not_o wonder_v that_o those_o who_o be_v so_o persuade_v pay_v it_o their_o adoration_n but_o from_o thence_o itself_o that_o they_o believe_v that_o adoration_n be_v a_o necessary_a consequence_n of_o the_o doctrine_n of_o transubstantiation_n and_o that_o they_o do_v not_o find_v this_o consequence_n neither_o in_o the_o scripture_n nor_o in_o the_o practice_n of_o the_o apostle_n and_o the_o time_n which_o be_v not_o in_o question_n there_o be_v much_o reason_n to_o admire_v that_o this_o same_o relation_n which_o the_o gentleman_n of_o the_o roman_a church_n do_v find_v betwixt_o these_o two_o doctrine_n do_v not_o at_o least_o give_v they_o some_o suspicion_n of_o they_o both_o or_o rather_o that_o it_o do_v not_o at_o last_o incline_v they_o to_o reject_v both_o the_o one_o and_o the_o other_o mass_n fourteen_o the_o sacrifice_n of_o the_o mass_n the_o same_o thing_n may_v be_v say_v of_o the_o sacrifice_n of_o the_o mass_n which_o the_o bishop_n of_o condom_n also_o regard_v only_o as_o a_o consequence_n of_o the_o real_a presence_n and_o of_o transubstantiation_n for_o there_o be_v nothing_o like_o it_o to_o be_v find_v in_o the_o scripture_n nor_o in_o the_o first_o the_o other_o our_o synod_n be_v so_o far_o from_o allow_v to_o themselves_o the_o authority_n of_o take_v away_o any_o thing_n from_o the_o institution_n of_o our_o saviour_n or_o of_o make_v any_o the_o least_o change_n therein_o that_o they_o have_v keep_v themselves_o so_o religious_o to_o his_o word_n as_o to_o have_v make_v it_o a_o question_n whether_o the_o bread_n shall_v be_v give_v unto_o they_o who_o only_o through_o this_o natural_a aversion_n which_o they_o can_v overcome_v forbear_v to_o take_v the_o sign_n of_o the_o wine_n and_o they_o give_v not_o the_o bread_n itself_o but_o in_o the_o manner_n which_o the_o bishop_n of_o condom_n report_n cause_v they_o who_o can_v drink_v wine_n to_o make_v a_o protestation_n that_o it_o be_v not_o through_o disrespect_n and_o
