deprave_v pervert_v and_o corrupt_v one_o truth_n or_o other_o of_o the_o gospel_n so_o all_o of_o they_o do_v not_o in_o all_o thing_n equal_o corrupt_v their_o way_n but_o give_v some_o testimony_n more_o or_o less_o to_o some_o truth_n as_o they_o receive_v they_o from_o those_o that_o go_v before_o they_o so_o fall_v it_o out_o in_o the_o matter_n of_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n and_o the_o corruption_n of_o the_o nature_n of_o man_n though_o some_o of_o they_o labour_v to_o corrode_v and_o corrupt_v the_o ancient_a receive_v doctrine_n thereof_o so_o some_o again_o contend_v with_o all_o their_o might_n in_o their_o way_n and_o by_o their_o argument_n to_o defend_v it_o as_o be_v evident_a in_o the_o instance_n of_o bradwardine_n cry_v out_o to_o god_n and_o man_n to_o help_v in_o the_o cause_n of_o god_n against_o the_o pelagian_o in_o his_o day_n in_o particular_a complain_v of_o the_o great_a master_n of_o their_o divinity_n so_o that_o notwithstanding_o all_o their_o corruption_n these_o ensue_a principle_n pass_v current_o among_o the_o most_o eminent_a of_o they_o as_o to_o the_o doctrine_n under_o consideration_n which_o continue_v in_o credit_n with_o many_o of_o their_o sophistical_a successor_n to_o this_o day_n 1_o that_o perseverance_n be_v a_o grace_n of_o god_n bestow_v according_a to_o predestination_n or_o election_n on_o man_n that_o be_v that_o god_n give_v it_o to_o believer_n that_o be_v predestinate_v and_o elect_v 2_o that_o on_o whosoever_o the_o grace_n of_o perseverance_n be_v bestow_v they_o do_v persevere_v to_o the_o end_n and_o it_o be_v impossible_a in_o some_o sense_n that_o they_o shall_v otherwise_o do_v 3_o that_o none_o who_o be_v not_o predestinate_a what_o grace_n soever_o they_o may_v be_v make_v partaker_n of_o in_o this_o world_n shall_v constant_o continue_v to_o the_o end_n 4_o that_o no_o believer_n can_v by_o his_o own_o strength_n or_o power_n incite_v or_o stir_v up_o by_o what_o manlike_a or_o rational_a consideration_n so_o ever_o persevere_v in_o the_o faith_n the_o grace_n of_o perseverance_n be_v a_o gift_n of_o god_n it_o be_v true_a that_o their_o judgement_n be_v pervert_v by_o sundry_a other_o corrupt_a principle_n about_o the_o nature_n and_o efficacy_n of_o sacrament_n with_o their_o conveyance_n of_o grace_n ex_fw-la opere_fw-la operato_fw-la and_o out_o of_o ignorance_n of_o the_o righteousness_n of_o god_n and_o the_o real_a work_n of_o regeneration_n they_o general_o maintain_v though_o bradwardine_n punctual_o express_v himself_o to_o be_v of_o another_o
