the_o church_n of_o england_n that_o differ_v in_o small_a matter_n together_o unite_v against_o the_o common_a enemy_n error_n heresy_n and_o schism_n that_o threaten_v either_o to_o invade_v or_o undermine_v the_o church_n itself_o and_o this_o may_v be_v do_v by_o a_o comprehension_n second_o to_o prevent_v sedition_n and_o keep_v we_o in_o peace_n and_o this_o may_v be_v secure_v by_o such_o a_o toleration_n as_o the_o wisdom_n of_o the_o parliament_n shall_v think_v fit_a they_o be_v best_o able_a to_o give_v such_o antidote_n as_o may_v preserve_v the_o church_n vital_n and_o to_o cure_v and_o cherish_v such_o member_n as_o be_v weak_a or_o corrupt_a without_o amputation_n comprehension_n be_v for_o strengthen_v the_o church_n interest_n and_o toleration_n if_o our_o ruler_n think_v fit_a to_o grant_v it_o of_o such_o thing_n as_o be_v tolerable_a this_o be_v for_o the_o kingdom_n peace_n now_o the_o thing_n which_o the_o presbyterian_o desire_v to_o be_v comprehend_v in_o be_v not_o many_o nor_o great_a nor_o in_o the_o least_o entrench_v upon_o the_o essential_o of_o the_o church_n her_o doctrine_n or_o discipline_n but_o some_o circumstantial_o which_o our_o church_n before_o they_o be_v command_v acknowledge_v indifferent_a and_o some_o other_o imposi●ions_n temporary_a which_o in_o a_o few_o year_n according_a to_o the_o act_n for_o uniformity_n do_v expire_v these_o thing_n we_o humble_o desire_v dispensation_n for_o be_v such_o as_o be_v dispense_v with_o in_o other_o church_n and_o may_v be_v i_o trust_v in_o our_o own_o without_o any_o hazard_n to_o her_o doctrine_n discipline_n or_o glory_n and_o as_o for_o the_o toleration_n before_o mention_v those_o that_o be_v call_v presbyterian_o humble_o account_v that_o it_o be_v no_o more_o a_o part_n of_o the_o comprehension_n which_o they_o desire_v for_o themselves_o and_o will_v be_v content_a with_o than_o separation_n and_o faction_n which_o this_o shall_v cure_v be_v part_n of_o their_o principle_n or_o practice_n or_o the_o person_n that_o hope_v for_o it_o be_v presbyterian_o or_o the_o doctrine_n they_o hold_v the_o doctrine_n of_o the_o church_n of_o england_n and_o therefore_o shall_v be_v no_o more_o put_v together_o with_o they_o by_o right_a than_o the_o church_n of_o england_n with_o who_o the_o papist_n do_v as_o indistinct_o join_v they_o as_o our_o episcopal_a brethren_n do_v with_o the_o presbyterian_o from_o who_o they_o have_v be_v plea_n '_o to_o make_v a_o secession_n as_o well_o as_o from_o themselves_o yet_o notwithstanding_o some_o even_n of_o they_o that_o be_v account_v of_o the_o separation_n acknowledge_v the_o be_v ordinance_n and_o officer_n of_o the_o church_n of_o england_n and_o be_v very_a grave_n pious_a and_o learned_a man_n who_o have_v do_v and_o may_v yet_o further_o do_v she_o and_o religion_n great_a service_n by_o their_o pen_n and_o part_n who_o case_n and_o liberty_n the_o wisdom_n of_o the_o parliament_n no_o doubt_n but_o will_v take_v care_n of_o when_o these_o thing_n come_v into_o consideration_n according_a to_o the_o quality_n of_o their_o person_n and_o the_o modesty_n of_o their_o principle_n as_o well_o as_o other_o in_o the_o mean_a time_n if_o i_o be_v to_o petition_v i_o shall_v humble_o beg_v it_o upon_o my_o knee_n that_o it_o will_v please_v our_o gracious_a sovereign_n together_o with_o his_o two_o house_n in_o parliament_n in_o who_o hand_n the_o relaxation_n and_o make_n of_o law_n be_v that_o according_a to_o the_o loyalty_n and_o integrity_n of_o their_o heart_n principle_n and_o action_n and_o no_o otherwise_o that_o they_o will_v grant_v those_o who_o be_v repute_v presbyterian_o a_o liberty_n to_o preach_v the_o gospel_n with_o such_o encouragement_n in_o their_o ministry_n by_o a_o act_n for_o comprehension_n or_o otherwise_o as_o they_o in_o their_o grave_a wisdom_n shall_v think_v most_o convenient_a that_o so_o all_o heat_n and_o animosity_n on_o all_o side_n may_v be_v quiet_v and_o quench_v and_o they_o that_o have_v be_v dead_a in_o law_n for_o these_o ten_o year_n past_a may_v be_v revive_v which_o may_v possible_o also_o give_v decay_a piety_n peace_n and_o charity_n a_o happy_a resurrection_n which_o god_n of_o his_o great_a mercy_n grant_v for_o jesus_n christ_n sake_n amen_n finis_fw-la
