be_v contemn_v on_o the_o us._n the_o the_o scripture_n be_v weave_v both_o with_o hard_a and_o easy_a thing_n and_o this_o be_v of_o great_a use_n to_o us._n other_o side_n if_o all_o the_o part_n thereof_o be_v hard_o a_o like_a we_o shall_v give_v over_o to_o seek_v that_o which_o we_o despair_v to_o find_v and_o therefore_o the_o good_a pleasure_n of_o our_o lord_n have_v be_v to_o make_v the_o holy_a scripture_n obscure_a yet_o with_o a_o kind_n of_o plainness_n and_o plain_a but_o yet_o with_o a_o obscureness_n that_o by_o their_o plainness_n in_o some_o place_n they_o may_v illuminate_v we_o and_o by_o their_o difficulty_n in_o other_o they_o may_v exercise_v us._n and_o that_o the_o easy_a place_n may_v help_v we_o towards_o the_o understanding_n of_o the_o hard_a and_o the_o hard_a may_v serve_v to_o employ_v our_o wit_n and_o to_o make_v we_o know_v withal_o how_o much_o we_o be_v bind_v to_o god_n for_o have_v make_v some_o other_o easy_a and_o this_o be_v the_o substance_n of_o that_o which_o father_n salmeron_n have_v deliver_v both_o concern_v the_o reason_n which_o make_v the_o holy_a scripture_n hard_o and_o the_o fruit_n which_o grow_v to_o we_o thereby_o through_o which_o we_o may_v easy_o discern_v the_o tender_a and_o wise_a care_n and_o love_n of_o this_o divine_a doctor_n of_o our_o soul_n not_o only_o in_o give_v we_o such_o excellent_a lesson_n but_o for_o have_v do_v it_o in_o such_o a_o admirable_a manner_n as_o particular_a as_o a_o demonstration_n of_o the_o love_n of_o our_o lord_n to_o we_o in_o this_o particular_a that_o whilst_o we_o be_v study_v they_o we_o must_v almost_o in_o despite_n of_o our_o own_o proud_a heart_n be_v employ_v ourselves_o withal_o both_o upon_o the_o exercise_n of_o prayer_n and_o the_o practice_n of_o the_o solid_a virtue_n of_o humility_n patience_n obedience_n purity_n and_o charity_n and_o if_o yet_o we_o shall_v not_o think_v that_o our_o lord_n have_v show_v we_o love_n
to_o time_n he_o show_v they_o what_o a_o glory_n it_o will_v be_v for_o they_o to_o resemble_v their_o master_n in_o his_o cross_n and_o he_o make_v they_o know_v withal_o that_o they_o shall_v not_o carry_v it_o alone_o but_o that_o in_o the_o place_n of_o his_o own_o corporal_a presence_n which_o then_o be_v the_o object_n of_o their_o sense_n he_o will_v send_v they_o a_o comforter_n the_o
