certainty_n to_o be_v be_v contain_v in_o the_o church_n and_o deliver_v as_o it_o be_v from_o hand_n to_o hand_n by_o the_o successive_a guide_n thereof_o therefore_o let_v it_o be_v grant_v that_o the_o church_n which_o pretend_v not_o to_o make_v any_o new_a article_n of_o faith_n at_o all_o but_o to_o recommend_v to_o her_o child_n what_o be_v deliver_v to_o she_o be_v infallible_a or_o a_o sufficient_a testimony_n it_o afford_v we_o to_o certainty_n ground_v our_o faith_n on_o at_o least_o in_o all_o the_o principal_a point_n of_o our_o religion_n wherein_o such_o tradition_n both_o as_o to_o deliver_v a_o sufficient_a canon_n of_o scripture_n and_o the_o true_a meaning_n of_o this_o canon_n be_v most_o full_a and_o unquestionable_a yet_o i_o must_v mind_v you_o before_o i_o proceed_v further_o to_o avoid_v your_o mistake_n that_o i_o hold_v not_o all_o tradition_n that_o we_o meet_v with_o to_o have_v a_o equal_a certainty_n or_o creditableness_n one_o as_o another_o because_o all_o circumstance_n consider_v they_o have_v not_o a_o equal_a evidence_n but_o very_o different_a and_o therefore_o ought_v careful_o to_o be_v examine_v and_o compare_v for_o example_n the_o tradition_n that_o such_o a_o person_n suppose_v mahomet_n live_v in_o such_o a_o age_n may_v have_v much_o more_o certainty_n than_o that_o mahomet_n or_o such_o a_o person_n say_v or_o do_v error_n 2._o that_o the_o say_v of_o very_a many_o have_v this_o rational_a assurance_n and_o that_o any_o or_o most_o by_o some_o reasonable_a diligence_n may_v attain_v it_o for_o necessary_a point_n from_o the_o traditionary_a doctrine_n and_o practice_n which_o they_o may_v see_v and_o hear_v disperse_v through_o the_o church_n for_o doubtless_o our_o careful_a saviour_n have_v provide_v
