to_o state_n the_o case_n and_o to_o that_o end_n will_v fain_o know_v what_o we_o mean_v when_o we_o say_v that_o christ_n be_v not_o corporeal_o present_v in_o this_o sacrament_n or_o how_o that_o which_o be_v not_o the_o thing_n itself_o be_v yet_o more_o than_o a_o mere_a figure_n of_o it_o in_o answer_n to_o which_o i_o shall_v need_v seek_v no_o far_o than_o those_o testimony_n i_o before_o the_o blood_n of_o christ_n in_o a_o word_n we_o say_v that_o the_o faithful_a do_v real_o partake_v of_o christ_n body_n after_o such_o a_o manner_n as_o those_o who_o be_v void_a of_o faith_n can_v the_o meaning_n be_v clear_o this_o christ_n be_v real_o present_a in_o this_o sacrament_n inasmuch_o as_o they_o who_o worthy_o receive_v it_o have_v thereby_o real_o convey_v to_o they_o our_o one_o the_o sacramental_a bread_n and_o wine_n then_o remain_v still_o in_o their_o very_a natural_a substance_n nor_o be_v there_o any_o corporal_a presence_n of_o christ_n natural_a flesh_n and_o which_o the_o vindicator_n seem_v to_o insinuate_v for_o we_o suppose_v it_o to_o be_v a_o plain_a contradiction_n that_o a_o body_n shall_v have_v any_o existence_n but_o what_o alone_o be_v proper_a to_o a_o body_n etc._n that_o this_o exposition_n be_v agreeable_a to_o the_o doctrine_n of_o the_o ch._n of_o england_n the_o authority_n already_o cite_v show_v see_v also_o the_o homily_n concern_v conversion_n of_o their_o substance_n into_o the_o body_n and_o blood_n of_o christ_n the_o species_n only_o remain_v but_o this_o the_o vindicator_n will_v not_o allow_v but_o advance_v a_o exposition_n so_o contrary_a to_o the_o design_n of_o the_o council_n and_o doctrine_n of_o his_o church_n that_o it_o be_v wonderful_a to_o imagine_v how_o he_o can_v be_v so_o far_o deceive_v present_a the_o bread_n and_o wine_n cease_v to_o be_v there_o true_o real_o and_o substantial_o present_a though_o the_o appearance_n thereof_o remain_v now_o this_o be_v so_o evident_o false_a that_o suarez_n doubt_v not_o to_o say_v it_o be_v hear_v to_o affirm_v it_o forasmuch_o say_v he_o below_o see_v suarez_n cite_v below_o as_o the_o council_n not_o only_o determine_v the_o presence_n of_o christ_n body_n and_o absence_n of_o the_o substance_n of_o the_o bread_n but_o also_o the_o true_a conversion_n of_o the_o one_o into_o the_o other_o thus_o establish_v not_o only_o the_o two_o former_a but_o this_o last_o also_o as_o a_o article_n of_o faith_n our_o dispute_n therefore_o be_v not_o only_o as_o this_o author_n pretend_v about_o the_o real_a presence_n of_o christ_n body_n 83._o vindic._n p._n 83._o and_o absence_n of_o the_o substance_n of_o the_o bread_n which_o he_o call_v the_o thing_n itself_o but_o also_o about_o the_o manner_n how_o jesus_n christ_n be_v in_o his_o book_n for_o the_o great_a exactness_n of_o the_o method_n or_o neatness_n of_o style_n he_o must_v have_v be_v a_o very_a peevish_a adversary_n indeed_o that_o will_v have_v pretend_v to_o censure_v he_o for_o that_o but_o to_o change_v not_o only_o the_o word_n but_o doctrine_n too_o to_o give_v we_o one_o exposition_n of_o it_o in_o one_o edition_n and_o a_o quite_o contrary_a in_o
