the_o meaning_n of_o these_o word_n the_o true_a reform_a protestant_a religion_n express_v in_o the_o doctrine_n of_o the_o church_n of_o england_n against_o all_o popery_n and_o popish_a and_o popish_a innovation_n 2._o there_o be_v in_o the_o doctrine_n profess_v by_o the_o church_n of_o england_n some_o adjunct_n of_o rite_n ceremony_n government_n or_o some_o special_a order_n of_o worship_n which_o may_v need_v reformation_n and_o be_v not_o view_v to_o be_v maintain_v so_o that_o according_a to_o this_o sense_n of_o they_o who_o prescribe_v both_o there_o be_v more_o of_o consistency_n than_o contradiction_n between_o the_o protestation_n and_o solemn_a league_n and_o covenant_n so_o that_o the_o manifest_a perjury_n they_o fear_v have_v not_o so_o much_o as_o a_o seem_a ground_n and_o as_o for_o the_o suppose_a contradiction_n of_o this_o branch_n of_o the_o covenant_n unto_o the_o oath_n of_o supremacy_n it_o will_v on_o examination_n vanish_v as_o a_o apparition_n a_o thing_n which_o so_o seem_v but_o can_v be_v so_o prove_v for_o if_o they_o will_v not_o hiss_v i_o out_o of_o their_o school_n i_o will_v grant_v they_o their_o proposition_n in_o the_o oath_n and_o assumption_n in_o the_o statute_n by_o they_o quote_v and_o yet_o find_v a_o way_n to_o avoid_v the_o conclusion_n because_o a_o mere_a non_fw-la sequitur_fw-la on_o their_o
