the_o nature_n of_o the_o matter_n the_o matter_n consist_v in_o the_o nature_n and_o condition_n of_o mankind_n the_o certainty_n of_o judgement_n the_o necessity_n of_o christ_n the_o covenant_n of_o grace_n and_o the_o grace_n and_o privilege_n thereof_o etc._n etc._n these_o carry_v a_o great_a deal_n of_o power_n and_o efficacy_n with_o they_o when_o they_o be_v careful_o and_o frequent_o dispense_v and_o god_n spirit_n go_v along_o with_o they_o so_o they_o become_v powerful_a for_o the_o ministry_n consist_v not_o in_o empty_a notion_n and_o speculation_n that_o will_v only_o be_v powerful_a there_o shall_v be_v sutableness_n of_o expression_n to_o the_o matter_n h._n e._n with_o gravity_n sobriety_n affection_n etc._n etc._n strong_a line_n make_v but_o weak_a preach_n much_o the_o more_o they_o be_v weak_a so_o much_o honour_n he_o will_v gain_v for_o a_o conclusion_n it_o come_v to_o this_o viz._n that_o we_o lay_v no_o stress_n upon_o any_o outward_a thing_n there_o be_v no_o stress_n or_o happiness_n in_o these_o outward_a thing_n those_o that_o seem_v to_o be_v of_o some_o concernment_n as_o strength_n of_o body_n and_o other_o outward_a qualification_n that_o be_v of_o remark_n yet_o consider_v they_o be_v fade_v and_o transitory_a this_o shall_v teach_v we_o in_o the_o enjoyment_n of_o outward_a thing_n a_o great_a deal_n of_o humility_n though_o we_o be_v vessel_n of_o gold_n in_o regard_n of_o the_o treasure_n and_o improvement_n yet_o in_o regard_n of_o ourselves_o we_o be_v vessel_n of_o earth_n and_o so_o shall_v be_v in_o respect_n of_o humility_n let_v we_o look_v upon_o all_o these_o thing_n as_o give_v to_o we_o of_o god_n even_o for_o this_o very_a end_n that_o we_o may_v be_v more_o serviceable_a to_o he_o and_o his_o people_n think_v on_o and_o observe_v by_o he_o and_o as_o he_o be_v the_o son_n of_o a_o minister_n so_o when_o he_o come_v to_o year_n and_o be_v fit_v he_o take_v upon_o he_o the_o ministry_n as_o he_o be_v one_o of_o great_a ability_n so_o according_o he_o discharge_v they_o faithful_o and_o conscientious_o he_o be_v a_o spiritual_a powerful_a conscientious_a preacher_n he_o preach_v by_o his_o life_n for_o as_o erasmus_n say_v we_o shall_v not_o only_o love_v to_o speak_v truth_n but_o we_o shall_v digest_v truth_n on_o our_o own_o heart_n before_o we_o commend_v they_o to_o other_o and_o so_o
