spirit_n and_o doctrine_n of_o devil_n and_o doctrine_n of_o devil_n this_o mark_n and_o character_n be_v also_o see_v conspicuous_o and_o plain_o upon_o the_o teacher_n among_o the_o quaker_n yea_o so_o evident_a be_v it_o as_o if_o write_v with_o a_o beam_n of_o the_o sun_n now_o what_o doctrine_n do_v the_o devil_n teach_v when_o they_o be_v permit_v of_o god_n for_o his_o secret_a end_n to_o he_o have_v wrought_v and_o bring_v unto_o his_o people_n these_o thing_n be_v manifest_a in_o several_a particular_n in_o their_o book_n and_o pamphlet_n and_o second_o scripture_n 2._o against_o the_o scripture_n another_o particular_a of_o the_o doctrine_n of_o devil_n which_o he_o will_v be_v sure_a to_o teach_v his_o disciple_n it_o be_v to_o weaken_v or_o destroy_v the_o authority_n of_o his_o word_n the_o scripture_n the_o gospel_n of_o salvation_n by_o which_o truth_n and_o error_n may_v be_v know_v and_o prove_v for_o if_o he_o once_o destroy_v the_o rule_n and_o measure_n of_o doctrine_n so_o that_o man_n do_v not_o try_v they_o by_o a_o know_v plain_a fix_a rule_n than_o he_o know_v man_n may_v preach_v and_o pretend_v their_o fancy_n and_o vain_a imagination_n and_o obtrude_v they_o upon_o other_o as_o most_o certain_a truth_n and_o have_v he_o not_o teach_v the_o man_n of_o this_o generation_n this_o point_n of_o his_o devilish_a doctrine_n do_v they_o not_o slight_a and_o despise_v the_o scripture_n the_o word_n of_o god_n and_o offer_v and_o prefer_v their_o own_o vain_a idle_a fancy_n instead_o of_o the_o scripture_n even_o the_o man_n of_o who_o we_o be_v speak_v the_o teacher_n among_o the_o quaker_n this_o be_v evident_a and_o clear_a to_o the_o eye_n of_o all_o who_o be_v enlighten_v by_o christ_n and_o by_o the_o scripture_n three_o church_n three_o against_o the_o church_n as_o the_o doctrine_n of_o devil_n be_v against_o christ_n his_o word_n and_o gospel_n so_o also_o against_o his_o people_n his_o church_n all_o his_o member_n they_o scripture_n and_o the_o credit_n and_o esteem_v of_o his_o people_n then_o he_o introduce_v and_o bring_v in_o something_o of_o a_o man_n be_v own_o instead_o thereof_o that_o he_o know_v be_v insufficient_a and_o will_v fail_v in_o order_n to_o salvation_n that_o be_v to_o say_v man_n be_v own_o righteousness_n obedience_n and_o work_n and_o put_v they_o upon_o trust_v to_o these_o and_o so_o return_v again_o to_o the_o old_a covenant_n of_o work_n and_o to_o neglect_v the_o new_a covenant_n of_o grace_n which_o course_n he_o know_v be_v the_o ready_a way_n to_o destruction_n and_o he_o do_v this_o with_o the_o more_o efficacy_n in_o the_o mind_n of_o wicked_a man_n because_o it_o be_v a_o remnant_n of_o corruption_n even_o in_o the_o mind_n of_o good_a man_n of_o all_o by_o nature_n there_o be_v something_o of_o this_o remain_v in_o the_o best_a a_o secret_a esteem_v and_o overvalue_a of_o something_o of_o their_o own_o which_o be_v see_v in_o the_o clear_a light_n of_o the_o spirit_n and_o confess_v by_o all_o but_o the_o quaker_n although_o they_o have_v it_o in_o they_o most_o of_o any_o people_n yet_o through_o the_o darkness_n of_o their_o mind_n they_o see_v it_o not_o neither_o will_v own_o any_o such_o thing_n but_o tell_v we_o they_o own_o and_o witness_v perfection_n have_v mention_v these_o four_o particular_n which_o be_v the_o chief_a point_n of_o sandy_a foundation_n which_o certain_o will_v fail_v i._n e._n the_o light_n within_o every_o man_n and_o woman_n that_o come_v into_o the_o world_n and_o that_o be_v not_o christ_n but_o a_o creature_n there_o be_v a_o natural_a light_n we_o know_v in_o every_o man_n and_o woman_n reason_n and_o conscience_n but_o it_o be_v not_o christ_n he_o create_v it_o as_o all_o thing_n else_o in_o the_o world_n but_o what_o comparison_n between_o the_o creator_n and_o the_o creature_n this_o be_v at_o large_a speak_v to_o elsewhere_o and_o concern_v other_o profess_v people_n though_o many_o of_o they_o it_o be_v to_o be_v fear_v do_v build_v upon_o false_a foundation_n yet_o sure_o we_o be_v many_o thousand_o of_o they_o do_v build_v upon_o the_o true_a and_o only_a foundation_n jesus_n christ_n this_o lie_v then_o be_v against_o those_o who_o build_v upon_o the_o true_a foundation_n three_o 13._o the_o three_o lie_n in_o hypocrisy_n strong_a man_n arm_v p._n 13._o this_o be_v another_o lie_n in_o hypocrisy_n that_o they_o the_o quaker_n have_v a_o true_a faith_n that_o faith_n whereof_o christ_n be_v the_o author_n and_o finisher_n but_o the_o faith_n of_o all_o other_o be_v a_o unholy_a dead_a imperfect_a faith_n it_o sanctify_v but_o in_o part_n and_o so_o will_v never_o save_v to_o the_o utmost_a

light_n within_o every_o man_n and_o woman_n that_o be_v god_n and_o christ_n the_o saviour_n of_o the_o world_n but_o will_v this_o serve_v their_o turn_n to_o put_v the_o name_n christ_n upon_o one_o of_o his_o creature_n will_v christ_n allow_v any_o to_o take_v away_o his_o name_n and_o his_o glory_n and_o clothe_v a_o idol_n with_o it_o and_o then_o say_v they_o declare_v and_o set_v of_o christ_n and_o his_o spirit_n and_o so_o weak_a mind_n silly_a man_n and_o woman_n may_v think_v it_o to_o be_v so_o indeed_o especial_o when_o they_o hear_v it_o positive_o and_o plain_o assert_v affirm_v and_o contend_v for_o by_o man_n who_o have_v gain_v their_o affection_n by_o their_o demure_a countenance_n modest_a behaviour_n and_o apparel_n and_o many_o good_a word_n and_o high_a pitch_n of_o pride_n that_o self-love_n and_o satan_n to_o blow_v it_o up_o can_v raise_v they_o here_o they_o account_v themselves_o perfect_a and_o able_a to_o answer_v every_o demand_n of_o justice_n and_o will_v not_o be_v behold_v to_o christ_n for_o the_o imputation_n of_o his_o righteousness_n this_o be_v the_o humility_n of_o the_o quaker_n but_o o_o miserable_a creature_n be_v they_o and_o more_o miserable_a be_v they_o yet_o like_a to_o be_v who_o humility_n be_v the_o height_n of_o pride_n and_o who_o righteousness_n be_v nothing_o but_o the_o gross_a sin_n and_o wickedness_n and_o who_o have_v not_o the_o righteousness_n of_o christ_n impute_v to_o they_o which_o be_v the_o righteousness_n of_o god_n and_o perfect_a as_o well_o as_o inherent_a righteousness_n
