catholic_n do_v not_o only_o reckon_v those_o to_o be_v good_a work_n which_o concern_v the_o obey_v of_o the_o commandment_n of_o god_n but_o also_o those_o that_o concern_v the_o obey_v of_o the_o tradition_n &_o commandment_n of_o man_n of_o which_o tradition_n say_v they_o some_o have_v be_v institute_v by_o jesus_n christ_n and_o his_o apostle_n and_o because_o there_o be_v no_o mention_n make_v of_o they_o in_o the_o holy_a scripture_n they_o have_v recourse_n to_o a_o distinction_n invent_v by_o the_o sophister_n say_v that_o there_o be_v two_o sort_n of_o the_o word_n of_o god_n the_o one_o write_v and_o the_o other_o unwritten_a write_v and_o under_o this_o kind_n of_o the_o unwritten_a word_n of_o god_n they_o will_v comprehend_v the_o most_o part_n of_o their_o tradition_n but_o this_o distinction_n be_v very_o easy_o answer_v namely_o that_o those_o tradition_n which_o they_o call_v the_o unwritten_a word_n of_o god_n as_o holy_a water_n lent_n the_o worship_v of_o the_o cross_n the_o hallow_n of_o altar_n and_o such_o other_o like_a be_v repugnant_a to_o the_o write_a word_n of_o god_n and_o that_o if_o there_o be_v any_o unwritten_a word_n of_o god_n the_o same_o can_v be_v repugnant_a to_o that_o which_o be_v write_v as_o these_o tradition_n be_v also_o it_o be_v to_o be_v find_v by_o the_o write_n of_o historiographer_n and_o other_o author_n who_o they_o be_v that_o first_o do_v set_v forth_o such_o tradition_n and_o therefore_o they_o be_v not_o to_o be_v father_v upon_o the_o unwritten_a word_n of_o god._n three_o it_o be_v not_o to_o be_v deny_v but_o that_o the_o write_a word_n of_o god_n be_v perfect_a and_o sufficient_a to_o salvation_n and_o therefore_o that_o no_o article_n of_o faith_n ought_v to_o be_v father_v upon_o the_o by_o his_o unwritten_a word_n as_o before_o be_v say_v and_o partly_o for_o that_o say_v they_o it_o be_v a_o work_n of_o perfection_n when_o one_o do_v not_o only_o all_o that_o which_o god_n command_v but_o also_o more_o than_o he_o do_v command_v for_o by_o this_o mean_v they_o do_v so_o abound_v in_o good_a work_n that_o many_o of_o they_o do_v more_o than_o be_v needful_a to_o the_o romish_a catholic_n that_o in_o condemn_v the_o same_o so_o bold_o of_o heresy_n by_o the_o same_o mean_n they_o unadvised_o condemn_v their_o own_o canon_n and_o doctor_n and_o because_o they_o do_v so_o great_o brag_v that_o they_o hold_v the_o faith_n of_o the_o romish_a church_n i_o mean_v to_o prove_v that_o they_o do_v not_o so_o 1._o even_o by_o their_o own_o canon_n harken_v now_o what_o a_o canon_n say_v in_o a_o epistle_n write_v by_o pope_n marcell_n to_o the_o bishop_n of_o antioch_n we_o beseech_v you_o dear_a belove_a brethren_n say_v he_o that_o you_o neither_o teach_v nor_o allow_v any_o other_o doctrine_n than_o that_o which_o you_o have_v receive_v of_o s._n peter_n and_o of_o the_o other_o apostle_n and_o father_n for_o he_o be_v the_o head_n of_o the_o whole_a
