or_o of_o some_o loss_n rather_o than_o hazard_v the_o quiet_a of_o conscience_n by_o do_v that_o which_o be_v evil_a or_o unlawful_a or_o by_o not_o do_v that_o which_o be_v good_a special_o when_o we_o be_v thereto_o require_v but_o this_o brief_a receipt_n or_o diet_n of_o the_o soul_n without_o some_o other_o addition_n will_v rather_o serve_v to_o condemn_v we_o christian_n then_o enable_v we_o to_o live_v a_o true_a and_o christian_a life_n the_o receipt_n though_o be_v good_a in_o the_o general_n but_o defective_a in_o these_o particular_n first_o unless_o he_o know_v more_o of_o god_n will_n or_o of_o the_o mystery_n of_o christian_a religion_n than_o we_o know_v any_o mean_n by_o which_o he_o can_v possible_o know_v either_o be_v a_o heathen_a he_o be_v ignorant_a of_o of_o this_o main_a article_n of_o christianity_n to_o wit_n of_o a_o life_n everlasting_a which_o be_v the_o reward_n of_o well-doing_n the_o crown_n of_o holiness_n and_o of_o a_o everlasting_a or_o branch_n then_o from_o the_o article_n of_o everlasting_a life_n and_o everlasting_a death_n the_o belief_n of_o the_o one_o be_v the_o root_n of_o abstinence_n obedience_n from_o sinful_a or_o unlawful_a pleasure_n the_o belief_n of_o the_o other_o be_v the_o root_n of_o patience_n or_o sufferance_n of_o malum_fw-la poenae_fw-la or_o of_o sufferance_n for_o well-doing_n howbeit_o to_o speak_v exact_o both_o part_n of_o his_o receipt_n may_v be_v have_v from_o the_o belief_n either_o of_o everlasting_a life_n or_o everlasting_a death_n but_o most_o complete_o from_o the_o belief_n of_o both_o the_o manner_n how_o thence_o they_o may_v be_v gather_v be_v express_v by_o our_o apostle_n st._n paul_n rom._n 8._o 16._o etc._n etc._n the_o spirit_n itself_o bear_v witness_v with_o our_o spirit_n that_o we_o be_v the_o child_n of_o god_n and_o if_o child_n than_o heir_n heir_n of_o god_n and_o joint_a heir_n with_o christ_n if_o we_o suffer_v with_o he_o that_o we_o may_v be_v also_o glorify_v together_o for_o i_o reckon_v that_o the_o suffering_n of_o this_o present_a time_n be_v not_o worthy_a to_o be_v compare_v with_o the_o glory_n that_o shall_v be_v reveal_v in_o we_o etc._n etc._n 2._o if_o all_o the_o suffering_n of_o this_o life_n be_v not_o worthy_a of_o the_o glory_n which_o shall_v be_v reveal_v in_o we_o as_o the_o rule_n of_o faith_n teach_v we_o then_o before_o the_o judgement_n seat_n of_o christ_n that_o every_o one_o may_v receive_v the_o thing_n do_v in_o his_o body_n according_a to_o that_o he_o have_v do_v whether_o it_o be_v good_a or_o bad_a know_v therefore_o the_o terror_n of_o the_o lord_n we_o persuade_v man_n to_o what_o do_v he_o persuade_v man_n to_o do_v those_o thing_n which_o be_v good_a and_o which_o be_v do_v shall_v be_v reward_v not_o in_o judgement_n but_o in_o mercy_n and_o love_a kindness_n those_o thing_n by_o which_o we_o shall_v be_v reconcile_v unto_o god_n but_o be_v not_o these_o corinthian_n reconcile_v weigh_v this_o place_n alone_o for_o so_o far_o have_v the_o misapprehended_a doctrine_n of_o predestination_n and_o certainty_n of_o their_o own_o estate_n in_o salvation_n misswade_v some_o as_o they_o have_v not_o be_v afraid_a to_o affirm_v that_o the_o angel_n be_v in_o some_o sort_n inferior_a to_o themselves_o because_o they_o minister_v to_o they_o as_o they_o be_v heir_n of_o salvation_n minister_n they_o be_v indeed_o yet_o not_o to_o we_o but_o to_o god_n or_o christ_n though_o for_o our_o good_a so_o be_v every_o 1_o magistrate_n so_o be_v every_o pastor_n in_o his_o place_n yet_o god_n forbid_v that_o inferior_n shall_v hence_o collect_v that_o their_o magistrate_n and_o pastor_n shall_v be_v inferior_a to_o all_o they_o for_o who_o good_a they_o be_v minister_n be_v about_o the_o extent_n or_o limit_n of_o the_o subject_a the_o other_o about_o the_o extent_n or_o limit_n of_o the_o attribute_n that_o christ_n be_v exalt_v according_a to_o his_o humane_a nature_n or_o as_o he_o be_v the_o son_n of_o david_n all_o christian_n agree_v but_o that_o he_o shall_v be_v exalt_v as_o god_n or_o according_a to_o his_o divine_a nature_n which_o be_v absolute_o infinite_a may_v well_o seem_v impossible_a for_o nature_n the_o matter_n and_o for_o the_o phrase_n very_o harsh_a howbeit_o this_o be_v avouch_v by_o many_o orthodoxal_a and_o worthy_a divine_n
