a_o prince_n or_o other_o potentate_n at_o all_o ans._n yes_o but_o when_o man_n admire_v they_o only_o for_o their_o person_n riches_n honour_n nobility_n without_o respect_n of_o the_o fear_n of_o god_n or_o true_a virtue_n this_o be_v unlawful_a and_o the_o sin_n of_o these_o man_n wherein_o be_v also_o include_v the_o contempt_n of_o the_o religious_a poor_a yea_o and_o also_o of_o the_o rich_a themselves_o if_o they_o true_o fear_v god_n jam._n 2.1_o my_o brethren_n have_v not_o the_o faith_n of_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n in_o respect_n of_o person_n teach_v we_o that_o it_o will_v not_o stand_v with_o true_a religion_n nor_o with_o the_o faith_n of_o christ_n to_o honour_v man_n only_o because_o they_o be_v rich_a or_o noble_a first_o note_v here_o that_o no_o man_n carry_v so_o base_a a_o mind_n and_o such_o slavish_a affection_n as_o the_o proud_a ambitious_a person_n he_o magnify_v the_o great_a man_n and_o be_v servile_o addict_v unto_o he_o even_o for_o outward_a respect_n not_o esteem_v he_o for_o that_o which_o be_v indeed_o worthy_a to_o be_v respect_v second_o the_o condition_n of_o great_a man_n for_o the_o most_o part_n be_v miserable_a admonish_v who_o have_v many_o to_o admire_v they_o but_o few_o to_o amonish_v they_o rich_a man_n be_v admire_v for_o wisdom_n whereas_o the_o same_o man_n if_o they_o be_v poor_a will_v carry_v away_o no_o praise_n thereof_o ahab_n have_v four_o hundred_o false_a prophet_n who_o thus_o admire_v his_o person_n but_o only_o one_o micha_n who_o faithful_o admonish_v he_o three_o our_o duty_n be_v to_o honour_v they_o that_o fear_n god_n rich_a or_o poor_a high_a or_o low_o it_o be_v a_o note_n of_o a_o child_n of_o god_n to_o contemn_v a_o vile_a person_n that_o be_v a_o wretched_a sinner_n 15.4_o but_o to_o honour_v they_o that_o fear_v the_o lord_n be_v they_o never_o so_o base_a and_o yet_o the_o honourable_a much_o more_o if_o they_o be_v find_v in_o the_o way_n of_o religion_n the_o six_o sin_n because_o of_o advantage_n that_o be_v for_o profit_n sake_n where_o their_o covetousness_n which_o before_o be_v touch_v be_v here_o again_o tax_v the_o effect_n of_o which_o affection_n be_v to_o blind_v the_o mind_n that_o it_o can_v judge_v aright_o of_o person_n or_o thing_n it_o make_v a_o man_n account_v a_o enemy_n of_o god_n right_o honourable_a and_o to_o deem_v the_o thing_n below_o of_o high_a regard_n let_v we_o weed_n out_o of_o our_o heart_n this_o bitter_a root_n of_o covetousness_n which_o otherwise_o will_v so_o blind_v we_o as_o we_o can_v true_o discern_v the_o people_n and_o thing_n of_o god_n but_o take_v egyptian_n for_o israelite_n and_o accept_v of_o the_o red_a pottage_n in_o stead_n of_o the_o blessing_n vers._n 17._o but_o you_o belove_a remember_v the_o word_n which_o be_v speak_v before_o of_o the_o apostle_n of_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ._n in_o these_o word_n the_o apostle_n go_v about_o to_o answer_v a_o objection_n that_o may_v be_v make_v by_o the_o church_n after_o this_o manner_n we_o can_v be_v resolve_v that_o these_o man_n against_o who_o you_o write_v be_v so_o ungodly_a as_o you_o will_v make_v they_o the_o answer_n whereto_o be_v frame_v in_o the_o 17.18_o &_o 19_o verse_n the_o effect_n of_o which_o be_v that_o in_o the_o last_o time_n there_o shall_v be_v mocker_n and_o these_o be_v no_o other_o than_o the_o man_n of_o who_o he_o write_v and_o lest_o they_o shall_v yet_o doubt_v of_o the_o truth_n of_o that_o he_o speak_v he_o bring_v in_o the_o testimony_n of_o the_o apostle_n in_o the_o confirmation_n
