say_v thus_o if_o any_o one_o through_o some_o fast_o root_v error_n of_o judgement_n do_v think_v the_o law_n to_o be_v unjust_a which_o be_v not_o so_o the_o obligation_n of_o the_o law_n do_v remain_v notwithstanding_o that_o error_n of_o mind_n so_o that_o he_o be_v not_o free_a from_o sin_n if_o he_o do_v not_o obey_v yet_o that_o he_o sin_v more_o grievous_o if_o he_o shall_v obey_v before_o that_o error_n be_v lay_v aside_o which_o ease_n the_o reverend_a casuist_n intend_v to_o speak_v of_o more_o at_o large_a when_o he_o shall_v come_v to_o treat_v of_o the_o comparison_n of_o both_o obligation_n viz._n as_o i_o suppose_v the_o authority_n of_o the_o magistrate_n and_o of_o conscience_n for_o i_o perceive_v the_o question_n to_o which_o he_o make_v this_o a_o answer_n be_v what_o assurance_n that_o any_o law_n be_v unjust_a be_v require_v to_o secure_v a_o subject_n in_o point_n of_o conscience_n that_o he_o be_v not_o bind_v by_o that_o law_n but_o the_o good_a bishop_n never_o come_v to_o that_o point_n under_o which_o we_o may_v have_v expect_v his_o far_a judgement_n in_o that_o case_n and_o therefore_o i_o shall_v take_v a_o little_a pain_n in_o find_v out_o his_o resolution_n in_o some_o other_o part_n of_o his_o write_n answer_n the_o bishop_n say_v if_o a_o subject_n because_o that_o probable_a reason_n do_v appear_v on_o both_o side_n know_v not_o nor_o can_v determine_v whether_o a_o law_n be_v just_a or_o no_o so_o that_o his_o judgement_n hang_v in_o aequilibrio_fw-la not_o know_v to_o which_o to_o incline_v in_o this_o case_n the_o subject_n be_v bind_v actual_o to_o obey_v so_o that_o he_o sin_v if_o he_o do_v not_o obey_v and_o if_o he_o do_v obey_v he_o sin_v not_o now_o i_o observe_v that_o when_o the_o bishop_n come_v to_o give_v his_o reason_n why_o a_o subject_n shall_v obey_v against_o a_o scrupulous_a conscience_n the_o same_o reason_n do_v require_v his_o obedience_n though_o his_o scruple_n he_o inveterate_a and_o obfirm_v yea_o in_o thing_n doubtful_a as_o by_o these_o follow_a reason_n of_o he_o may_v appear_v his_o first_o reason_n be_v because_o by_o a_o reason_n of_o law_n in_o dubiis_fw-la potior_fw-la est_fw-la conditio_fw-la possidentis_fw-la therefore_o where_o there_o be_v a_o contest_v concern_v a_o right_a betwixt_o the_o lawgiver_n and_o the_o subject_n the_o right_n be_v always_o to_o be_v presume_v to_o be_v on_o the_o lawgiver_n side_n as_o be_v in_o possession_n of_o the_o right_n unless_o some_o fit_a reason_n can_v be_v give_v to_o the_o contrary_a but_o in_o this_o case_n i._n e._n in_o thing_n doubtful_a no_o such_o fit_a reason_n can_v
