to_o be_v high_a or_o low_a of_o stone_n of_o plaster_n or_o the_o like_a but_o otherwhiles_o the_o express_a notion_n be_v so_o essential_a to_o the_o conceal_a one_o that_o they_o can_v be_v without_o it_o as_o when_o we_o apprehend_v a_o cleave_a foot_n though_o this_o apprehension_n abstract_n from_o all_o other_o notion_n beside_o cloven-footedness_a if_o so_o i_o may_v say_v yet_o as_o above_o we_o have_v declare_v it_o be_v in_o such_o a_o manner_n that_o it_o imply_v other_o consideration_n not_o yet_o express_v in_o that_o cleave_a foot_n among_o which_o some_o may_v be_v of_o that_o nature_n that_o they_o can_v have_v a_o be_v without_o pre-supposing_a cloven-footedness_a but_o other_o may_v be_v mere_o accidental_a to_o that_o notion_n as_o for_o instance_n sake_n let_v one_o be_v that_o the_o foot_n be_v cleave_v into_o three_o part_n and_o let_v another_o be_v that_o it_o be_v black_a or_o hairy_a of_o these_o this_o late_a notion_n of_o black_a or_o hairy_a be_v of_o the_o first_o kind_n of_o abstraction_n which_o we_o say_v have_v but_o a_o accidental_a connexion_n with_o that_o which_o comprehend_v they_o without_o express_v they_o for_o other_o thing_n beside_o the_o cleave_a foot_n may_v be_v black_a or_o hairy_a as_o height_n or_o lowness_n to_o be_v of_o stone_n or_o of_o plaster_n may_v belong_v to_o other_o structure_n beside_o the_o white_a wall_n but_o to_o be_v cleave_v foot_v into_o three_o part_n so_o necessary_o depend_v of_o be_v cleave_v footed_a in_o general_a which_o imply_v this_o particular_a and_o so_o direct_o include_v it_o as_o it_o can_v subsist_v without_o cloven-footedness_a for_o though_o we_o may_v conceive_v a_o foot_n to_o be_v cleave_v without_o determine_v in_o our_o apprehension_n into_o how_o one_o and_o whenever_o it_o be_v mention_v the_o other_o be_v necessary_o also_o bring_v in_o and_o affirm_v with_o it_o now_o some_o of_o these_o late_a kind_n of_o notion_n in_o which_o what_o be_v nation_n express_v be_v essential_a to_o what_o be_v conceal_v may_v be_v of_o such_o a_o nature_n as_o to_o be_v capable_a of_o receive_v the_o addition_n of_o sundry_a other_o notion_n so_o repugnant_a to_o one_o another_o that_o they_o can_v agree_v together_o in_o one_o subject_n and_o yet_o that_o general_a notion_n without_o determine_v any_o of_o the_o other_o be_v indifferent_a to_o the_o contrary_a addition_n that_o include_v it_o and_o belong_v as_o much_o to_o any_o one_o as_o to_o any_o they_o and_o so_o consequent_o whatever_o may_v be_v affirm_v &_o be_v true_a of_o the_o primary_n notion_n may_v as_o well_o be_v affirm_v &_o be_v as_o true_a of_o the_o several_a particular_n arise_v out_o of_o the_o repugnant_a addition_n such_o a_o notion_n logician_n term_v a_o universal_a one_o that_o be_v one_o that_o reach_v indifferent_o and_o equal_o to_o all_o the_o particular_n comprise_v under_o ●t_a as_o for_o example_n to_o the_o notion_n of_o a_o live_a every_o one_o of_o these_o particular_a man_n must_v be_v allow_v to_o be_v a_o discursive_a creature_n because_o the_o be_v such_o belong_v to_o the_o notion_n of_o man_n and_o that_o notion_n to_o all_o the_o particular_n of_o thomas_n john_n william_n etc._n etc._n and_o yet_o no_o particular_a man_n can_v be_v both_o thomas_n and_o john_n or_o john_n and_o william_n etc._n etc._n in_o this_o kind_n of_o notion_n we_o may_v observe_v yet_o one_o propriety_n more_o which_o be_v that_o of_o itself_o and_o in_o its_o common_a term_n it_o do_v not_o cause_n one_o thought_n to_o range_v to_o several_a object_n nor_o imply'_v that_o there_o be_v many_o particular_n comprise_v under_o it_o yet_o if_o there_o be_v never_o so_o many_o that_o conceit_n will_v fit_v they_o every_o one_o &_o
