day_n many_o have_v sink_v in_o a_o calm_a and_o several_a among_o we_o have_v outlive_v a_o storm_n many_o have_v perish_v with_o less_o pain_n and_o less_o violent_a disease_n than_o those_o which_o some_o of_o we_o have_v have_v this_o shall_v engage_v we_o to_o make_v suitable_a return_n to_o that_o god_n who_o have_v spare_v we_o when_o he_o have_v take_v they_o away_o cons._n 2._o this_o improvement_n of_o our_o sickness_n and_o recovery_n will_v exempt_v we_o from_o the_o number_n of_o those_o hateful_a people_n that_o be_v not_o only_o no_o better_o but_o a_o great_a deal_n worse_o when_o they_o be_v bring_v out_o of_o distress_n than_o they_o be_v before_o and_o it_o be_v general_o think_v that_o of_o a_o thousand_o people_n that_o make_v large_a promise_n in_o their_o sickness_n there_o be_v scarce_o fifty_o that_o keep_v their_o word_n and_o perform_v their_o vow_n when_o they_o be_v recover_v those_o good_a purpose_n which_o they_o have_v be_v the_o product_n of_o their_o fear_n and_o when_o those_o be_v over_o their_o intend_a goodness_n do_v also_o vanish_v away_o cons._n 3._o this_o good_a improvement_n of_o your_o new_a life_n may_v engage_v god_n to_o prolong_v your_o time_n to_o a_o honourable_a old_a age._n for_o though_o we_o can_v merit_v nothing_o at_o his_o hand_n yet_o if_o we_o labour_v hard_o in_o his_o service_n it_o may_v be_v he_o there_o be_v nothing_o can_v satisfy_v his_o friend_n for_o the_o loss_n of_o so_o excellent_a a_o citizen_n so_o good_a a_o man_n and_o so_o sincere_a a_o friend_n but_o the_o consideraon_n of_o that_o providence_n which_o though_o it_o be_v mysterious_a and_o severe_a for_o the_o present_a yet_o will_v hereafter_o appear_v to_o have_v be_v very_o wise_a and_o very_o good_a to_o all_o those_o such_o who_o faith_n be_v deep_o root_v have_v for_o a_o long_a time_n flourish_v and_o conquer_a overwhelm_a doubt_n and_o so_o be_v of_o more_o than_o a_o ordinary_a growth_n this_o be_v that_o have_v but_o very_o obscure_a apprehension_n of_o that_o separate_a state_n we_o know_v but_o little_a of_o the_o great_a all-comprehending_a spirit_n and_o little_a with_o clearness_n and_o full_a critical_a inquiry_n into_o spiritual_a and_o immaterial_a substance_n nevertheless_o it_o be_v very_o desirable_a to_o know_v in_o what_o condition_n our_o soul_n will_v be_v when_o they_o leave_v the_o body_n and_o what_o be_v the_o nature_n of_o that_o abode_n into_o which_o we_o must_v go_v but_o which_o we_o never_o see_v into_o what_o region_n we_o must_v then_o take_v our_o flight_n and_o after_o what_o manner_n this_o will_v be_v do_v when_o that_o soul_n which_o touch_v and_o wrought_v by_o our_o hand_n speak_v by_o our_o tongue_n and_o hear_v by_o our_o ear_n shall_v have_v her_o present_a organ_n take_v from_o she_o and_o pass_v from_o sensible_a object_n on_o earth_n to_o a_o spacious_a unseen_a world_n when_o as_o in_o the_o twinkle_n of_o a_o eye_n our_o spirit_n will_v go_v from_o this_o low_a state_n through_o the_o airy_a region_n and_o the_o visible_a heaven_n soar_v till_o they_o come_v to_o the_o throne_n of_o god_n all_o the_o animal_n action_n of_o nourishment_n and_o growth_n all_o the_o sensation_n that_o arise_v from_o outward_a and_o material_a object_n will_v cease_v and_o these_o spirit_n will_v be_v more_o vigorous_a and_o active_a than_o now_o they_o be_v when_o death_n come_v it_o leave_v the_o body_n though_o far_o different_a from_o what_o it_o be_v yet_o still_o in_o our_o view_n we_o see_v where_o it_o be_v and_o what_o quality_n it_o be_v invest_v with_o how_o it_o be_v dispose_v of_o we_o know_v and_o be_v able_a to_o give_v some_o exact_a account_n of_o its_o condition_n of_o this_o we_o have_v a_o more_o distinct_a apprehension_n but_o none_o of_o a_o separate_a soul_n but_o what_o be_v very_o imperfect_a it_o be_v certain_a etc._n the_o soul_n will_v then_o preserve_v the_o faculty_n that_o be_v natural_a to_o
