jarring_n between_o creature_n and_o creature_n or_o between_o god_n and_o creature_n if_o he_o can_v help_v it_o and_o he_o be_v still_o make_v peace_n so_o far_o as_o lie_v in_o his_o reach_n he_o love_v peace_n exceed_o and_o because_o of_o his_o abundant_a delight_n to_o reap_v it_o he_o be_v ever_o sow_v and_o cherish_v it_o he_o be_v the_o very_a image_n of_o his_o father_n still_o move_v and_o work_v towards_o reconciliation_n 8._o he_o be_v persecute_v for_o righteousness_n sake_n for_o that_o righteousness_n sweetness_n meekness_n etc._n etc._n that_o god_n bring_v forth_o in_o he_o there_o be_v no_o cause_n why_o he_o shall_v be_v persecute_v but_o yet_o he_o be_v persecute_v and_o this_o kind_n of_o temper_n lay_v he_o open_a to_o persecution_n the_o dovelike_a lamblike_a spirit_n be_v a_o temptation_n to_o the_o hawk_n to_o the_o wolf_n christ_n be_v persecute_v for_o this_o very_a cause_n and_o the_o same_o spirit_n in_o the_o world_n that_o persecute_v christ_n will_v also_o be_v still_o persecute_v such_o as_o these_o upon_o the_o same_o ground_n and_o speak_v all_o manner_n of_o evil_n against_o they_o false_o for_o christ_n sake_n because_o of_o their_o reference_n and_o likeness_n to_o christ_n who_o by_o a_o secret_a antipathy_n the_o spirit_n of_o the_o world_n when_o most_o refine_v and_o spiritualise_v can_v but_o oppose_v they_o can_v for_o shame_n before_o man_n and_o in_o their_o own_o spirit_n speak_v against_o these_o thing_n in_o they_o therefore_o they_o invent_v lie_n and_o falsehood_n that_o they_o may_v represent_v they_o odious_a to_o man_n and_o their_o own_o spirit_n thereby_o and_o so_o more_o free_o without_o check_n of_o conscience_n persecute_v they_o under_o colour_n thereof_o but_o these_o notwithstanding_o all_o their_o present_a misery_n and_o hardship_n though_o they_o be_v look_v upon_o as_o the_o scum_n and_o offscouring_a of_o the_o world_n and_o so_o use_v by_o the_o world_n yet_o they_o be_v the_o bless_a of_o god_n of_o who_o the_o
