profession_n of_o religion_n they_o must_v exercise_v such_o only_a of_o those_o action_n within_o their_o own_o sphere_n as_o be_v lawful_a and_o innocent_a but_o by_o no_o mean_n endeavour_v to_o maintain_v it_o by_o such_o as_o be_v sinful_a and_o disobedient_a they_o must_v not_o defend_v it_o by_o lie_n and_o forgery_n by_o wrath_n and_o bitterness_n by_o fierceness_n and_o revenge_n by_o slander_v and_o revile_v of_o their_o opposer_n they_o must_v so_o defend_v religion_n as_o not_o to_o disobey_v it_o because_o that_o be_v not_o defend_v but_o betray_v it_o a_o free_a profession_n from_o all_o thing_n that_o be_v liable_a to_o just_a exception_n and_o from_o all_o mixture_n of_o error_n and_o falsehood_n and_o it_o be_v also_o a_o great_a happiness_n to_o man_n to_o have_v orthodox_n apprehension_n in_o religion_n and_o to_o embrace_v nothing_o for_o gospel_n truth_n but_o what_o god_n have_v thereby_o declare_v to_o they_o but_o it_o be_v a_o further_a happiness_n still_o and_o such_o whereof_o man_n be_v the_o most_o sensible_a to_o be_v free_a from_o the_o imperious_a imposition_n and_o tyranny_n of_o error_n so_o as_o neither_o to_o be_v force_v upon_o the_o impossible_a belief_n of_o that_o which_o in_o our_o own_o mind_n we_o see_v be_v false_a and_o therefore_o can_v believe_v nor_o upon_o the_o feign_a and_o hypocritical_a profession_n of_o believe_v a_o thing_n when_o real_o we_o do_v not_o believe_v it_o one_o of_o which_o two_o be_v man_n unhappiness_n when_o their_o profess_a religion_n fall_v under_o persecution_n now_o both_o these_o be_v severe_a and_o rigorous_a imposition_n for_o the_o first_o be_v utter_o impossible_a to_o any_o so_o long_o as_o it_o continue_v a_o free_a and_o impartial_a head_n as_o the_o latter_a be_v to_o any_o whilst_o it_o remain_v a_o honest_a and_o obedient_a heart_n so_o that_o all_o man_n have_v very_o great_a reason_n so_o far_o as_o they_o can_v by_o all_o innocent_a and_o honest_a way_n to_o be_v zeal_n for_o the_o unpersecuted_a use_n of_o religious_a ordinance_n and_o profession_n of_o religious_a opinion_n with_o this_o discretion_n let_v they_o be_v zealous_a and_o concern_v for_o it_o in_o god_n name_n for_o it_o be_v their_o duty_n so_o to_o be_v and_o god_n will_v reward_v and_o all_o good_a man_n commend_v they_o for_o it_o if_o they_o take_v care_n that_o their_o zeal_n transport_v they_o not_o beyond_o their_o own_o sphere_n that_o it_o carry_v they_o not_o against_o their_o duty_n and_o that_o it_o be_v concern_v in_o the_o first_o place_n for_o law_n and_o
