be_v the_o fashionablenesse_n and_o creditablenesse_n of_o sin_n it_o will_v discredit_v sin_n and_o bring_v christianity_n into_o reputation_n it_o will_v drive_v away_o that_o frivolous_a impertinent_a empty_a conversation_n that_o wanton_a noisome_a discourse_n that_o pass_v for_o the_o only_a entertainment_n of_o this_o corrupt_a world_n it_o will_v drive_v away_o backbiting_a judge_v censure_a rejoice_v in_o the_o folly_n and_o shame_n of_o other_o which_o be_v the_o very_a bane_n and_o shame_n of_o converse_n and_o society_n vi_o the_o advantage_n be_v great_a that_o will_v accrue_v unto_o we_o if_o we_o discharge_v this_o duty_n faithful_o dan._n 12.3_o they_o that_o be_v wise_a shall_v shine_v as_o the_o brightness_n of_o the_o firmament_n and_o they_o that_o turn_v many_o to_o righteousness_n as_o the_o star_n for_o ever_o and_o ever_o prov._n 24.25_o to_o they_o that_o rebuke_v the_o wicked_a shall_v be_v delight_n and_o a_o good_a blessing_n shall_v come_v upon_o they_o a_o great_a delight_n will_v arise_v in_o their_o soul_n from_o the_o testimony_n of_o their_o conscience_n that_o they_o have_v endeavour_v to_o discharge_v their_o duty_n and_o a_o good_a blessing_n from_o the_o lord_n will_v come_v upon_o they_o for_o it_o so_o much_o of_o the_o argument_n for_o this_o duty_n i_o come_v now_o to_o the_o second_o thing_n namely_o to_o remove_v the_o prejudices_fw-la and_o answer_v the_o objection_n that_o be_v conceive_v against_o it_o obj._n 1_o it_o be_v hard_a and_o painful_a and_o uneasy_a to_o flesh_n and_o blood_n to_o practice_v this_o duty_n i_o shall_v be_v think_v uncivil_a rude_a impertinent_a in_o most_o company_n where_o i_o come_v i_o shall_v be_v laugh_v at_o for_o my_o pain_n or_o jeer_v for_o my_o preciseness_n and_o it_o be_v hard_a to_o bear_v disgrace_n or_o i_o shall_v get_v ill_a will_n and_o anger_n from_o the_o party_n i_o reprove_v and_o i_o be_o fearful_a of_o give_v offence_n etc._n etc._n sol._n have_v god_n command_v thou_o a_o duty_n and_o will_v thou_o not_o do_v it_o for_o fear_n of_o offend_a man_n be_v it_o not_o a_o sad_a case_n we_o shall_v more_o fear_v to_o displease_v a_o sinful_a creature_n by_o admonish_v he_o of_o his_o sin_n than_o to_o offend_v god_n by_o neglect_v our_o duty_n this_o objection_n suppose_v a_o man_n loath_a to_o serve_v god_n or_o his_o brother_n of_o that_o which_o cost_v he_o any_o thing_n be_v thou_o to_o let_v he_o drop_v into_o hell_n quiet_o for_o fear_v of_o anger_v he_o or_o derive_v some_o of_o his_o displeasure_n upon_o thou_o be_v thou_o out_o of_o fearfulness_n or_o bashfulness_n out_o of_o a_o sluggish_a cowardice_n and_o want_v of_o zeal_n to_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n and_o the_o good_a of_o thy_o brother_n to_o be_v silent_a and_o to_o comply_v with_o he_o in_o his_o sin_n and_o let_v he_o go_v undisturbed_o to_o hell_n the_o civility_n of_o not_o reprove_v a_o brother_n when_o there_o be_v need_n amount_v to_o this_o to_o have_v the_o heart_n to_o see_v he_o be_v poison_v and_o not_o dare_v present_v
