mention_v in_o the_o forename_a text_n to_o a_o bodily_a death_n only_o affirm_v that_o adam_n by_o his_o sin_n expose_v himself_o and_o his_o posterity_n not_o to_o eternal_a or_o the_o second_o death_n to_o the_o death_n of_o soul_n and_o body_n both_o but_o to_o bodily_a death_n only_o yet_o lest_o he_o shall_v seem_v to_o contradict_v scripture_n which_o everywhere_o affirm_v all_o sin_n to_o provoke_v god_n anger_n and_o to_o deserve_v death_n and_o to_o bring_v forth_o fruit_n unto_o death_n he_o confess_v that_o any_o sin_n deserve_v death_n but_o not_o every_o kind_n of_o death_n further_o he_o confess_v in_o the_o same_o place_n of_o his_o book_n that_o actual_a sin_n in_o man_n deserve_v eternal_a death_n though_o not_o origin_n all_o sin_n now_o i_o will_v know_v of_o he_o whether_o adam_n first_o sin_n be_v not_o actual_a sin_n this_o i_o be_o sure_a he_o can_v deny_v nay_o a_o very_a heinous_a actual_a sin_n it_o be_v as_o may_v be_v lay_v open_a by_o many_o circumstance_n this_o then_o be_v grant_v i_o demand_v of_o he_o why_o actual_a sin_n in_o we_o shall_v be_v punishable_a with_o eternal_a death_n and_o not_o this_o first_o heinous_a actual_a sin_n of_o adam_n i_o dare_v answer_n for_o he_o that_o he_o can_v tell_v for_o if_o our_o actual_a sin_n deserve_v eternal_a death_n much_o rather_o that_o of_o adam_n as_o who_o have_v great_a light_n and_o more_o grace_n and_o less_o temptation_n than_o we_o have_v all_o which_o consideration_n be_v so_o many_o aggravation_n of_o his_o sin_n last_o to_o trample_v this_o vile_a error_n yet_o once_o more_o under_o foot_n that_o it_o may_v never_o lift_v up_o itself_o again_o i_o demand_v of_o these_o anabaptist_n whether_o adam_n do_v not_o by_o his_o sin_n divest_v and_o disrobe_v himself_o of_o that_o glorious_a image_n of_o god_n after_o which_o he_o be_v make_v which_o consist_v especial_o in_o righteousness_n and_o true_a holiness_n as_o the_o apostle_n have_v declare_v eph._n 4.22.23_o and_o 24._o verse_n for_o there_o he_o exhort_v to_o put_v of_o the_o old_a man_n by_o which_o he_o mean_v the_o vitiosity_n &_o sinfulness_n of_o our_o nature_n transmit_v and_o propagate_v into_o we_o by_o old_a adam_n and_o then_o to_o be_v renew_v in_o the_o spirit_n of_o our_o mind_n and_o to_o put_v on_o the_o new_a man_n which_o after_o god_n be_v create_v in_o righteousness_n and_o true_a holiness_n which_o imply_v that_o god_n image_n after_o which_o man_n be_v first_o create_v do_v consist_v in_o righteousness_n and_o holiness_n now_o if_o they_o deny_v that_o adam_n by_o his_o sin_n deprive_v himself_o of_o god_n image_n consist_v in_o righteousness_n and_o holiness_n they_o must_v deny_v the_o 5._o chapter_n of_o paul_n epistle_n to_o the_o roman_n to_o be_v canonical_a scripture_n for_o there_o the_o apostle_n affirm_v several_a time_n in_o the_o five_o last_o verse_n that_o by_o christ_n we_o regain_v both_o righteousness_n and_o life_n which_o adam_n lose_v and_o again_o the_o word_n renew_v which_o the_o scripture_n use_v in_o speak_v hereof_o imply_v a_o deprivation_n of_o that_o which_o be_v before_o for_o nothing_o can_v proper_o be_v say_v
