or_o divide_v but_o both_o principle_n remain_v in_o one_o essence_n whereas_o there_o be_v two_o essence_n but_o the_o one_o comprehend_v not_o the_o other_o as_o eternity_n do_v not_o comprehend_v time_n for_o thus_o also_o adam_n and_o eve_n die_v the_o soul_n mercury_n depart_v with_o its_o imagination_n from_o the_o essence_n of_o eternity_n into_o the_o essence_n of_o time_n viz._n into_o the_o anguish_n source_n and_o then_o the_o essence_n of_o eternity_n lose_v its_o leader_n which_o christ_n restore_v again_o in_o by_o the_o divine_a word_n or_o mercury_n so_o that_o the_o essence_n of_o eternity_n which_o in_o adam_n be_v forsake_v of_o the_o soul_n mercury_n obtain_v the_o life_n again_o 10._o and_o thus_o we_o know_v that_o the_o essence_n of_o eternity_n lie_v hide_v in_o the_o anxious_a mercury_n as_o in_o the_o fortress_n of_o death_n and_o our_o writing_n and_o teach_v be_v to_o show_v how_o a_o man_n may_v bring_v the_o poysonful_a mercury_n with_o its_o desire_n so_o far_o as_o to_o enter_v with_o its_o desire_n again_o into_o the_o essence_n of_o eternity_n viz._n into_o the_o enclose_v and_o reassume_a the_o essence_n of_o eternity_n for_o a_o body_n and_o with_o the_o same_o tincture_n the_o essence_n of_o time_n and_o reconcile_v they_o in_o one_o that_o the_o whole_a corpus_n of_o the_o inward_a and_o outward_a world_n may_v be_v only_o one_o that_o so_o there_o may_v be_v only_o one_o will_n in_o the_o spirit_n viz._n a_o love-hunger_n and_o this_o hunger_n do_v then_o make_v unto_o itself_o only_a one_o essence_n and_o then_o every_o spirit_n eat_v of_o its_o own_n essence_n or_o body_n so_o that_o afterward_o no_o evil_a will_n can_v arise_v any_o more_o therein_o 11._o thus_o we_o understand_v that_o joy_n and_o nature_n that_o form_n which_o be_v chief_a in_o a_o place_n according_a to_o the_o same_o property_n grow_v a_o metal_n also_o herb_n and_o tree_n 14._o here_o the_o physician_n must_v observe_v that_o they_o learn_v distinct_o to_o know_v what_o kind_n of_o property_n be_v the_o strong_a in_o each_o thing_n wherewith_o they_o will_v cure_v if_o they_o do_v not_o know_v it_o they_o will_v oftentimes_o give_v their_o patient_n death_n also_o they_o must_v know_v that_o they_o be_v to_o understand_v and_o very_o exact_o to_o know_v the_o property_n of_o the_o patient_n which_o of_o the_o property_n among_o the_o seven_o form_n of_o nature_n be_v the_o mercury_n in_o sulphur_n for_o such_o a_o salt_n he_o also_o make_v now_o if_o the_o physician_n give_v he_o a_o contrary_a salt_n mercury_n be_v only_o thereby_o the_o more_o vehement_o enrage_v and_o make_v more_o venomous_a but_o if_o he_o may_v obtain_v his_o own_o salt_n according_a to_o his_o own_o property_n after_o which_o he_o hunger_v than_o mercury_n he_o rejoice_v and_o ready_o quit_v his_o poyson-source_n in_o mars_n his_o fire_n but_o the_o right_a physician_n have_v another_o cure_n he_o first_o bring_v essence_n viz._n into_o sulphur_n which_o be_v his_o mother_n and_o wheel_v it_o about_o with_o his_o rotation_n in_o the_o essence_n as_o if_o he_o also_o boil_a and_o then_o the_o liberty_n viz._n the_o high_a power_n reach_v after_o its_o property_n viz._n after_o the_o solar_a property_n and_o apprehend_v mercury_n also_o along_o with_o it_o 16._o now_o when_o mercury_n taste_v the_o heavenly_a be_v in_o itself_o it_o grow_v exceed_o desirous_a after_o the_o power_n of_o love_n and_o draw_v the_o same_o into_o its_o desire_n whereupon_o it_o change_v itself_o and_o its_o salt_n so_o also_o its_o mother_n the_o sulphur_n into_o a_o pleasant_a source_n and_o now_o if_o the_o liberty_n be_v so_o introduce_v into_o a_o move_a life_n with_o mercury_n than_o it_o be_v very_o full_a of_o joy_n and_o spring_v up_o in_o its_o joy_n as_o a_o light_n from_o the_o fire_n and_o put_v forth_o through_o the_o sulphur-spirit_n in_o the_o salt_n thus_o be_v the_o grow_v of_o the_o root_n and_o thence_o the_o root_n gete_v such_o a_o pleasant_a smell_n and_o taste_v for_o in_o the_o original_a the_o salt_n sharpness_n in_o the_o first_o impression_n from_o saturn_n be_v a_o fill_v soul_n and_o body_n so_o that_o the_o hunger_n of_o the_o false_a serpent_n begin_v effectual_o to_o work_v in_o he_o and_o death_n awake_v in_o he_o and_o then_o paradise_n hide_v itself_o in_o he_o for_o paradise_n enter_v into_o itself_o and_o the_o poison_n of_o the_o serpent_n in_o death_n property_n dwell_v also_o in_o itself_o here_o be_v now_o the_o enmity_n then_o say_v god_n to_o he_o the_o seed_n of_o the_o woman_n shall_v bruise_v the_o serpeat_v head_n and_o thou_o shall_v sting_v the_o heel_n with_o death_n poison_n 46._o understand_v the_o paradisical_a image_n wrathful_a poysonful_a mercury_n so_o long_o till_o the_o artist_n who_o have_v make_v he_o take_v he_o in_o hand_n and_o bring_v the_o live_a mercury_n into_o his_o gold_n or_o paradisical_a image_n disappear_v and_o shut_v up_o in_o death_n so_o that_o the_o enclose_v image_n which_o be_v create_v out_o of_o the_o divine_a meekness_n and_o love-essentiality_a may_v again_o bud_v and_o spring_v forth_o in_o the_o divine_a mercury_n viz._n in_o the_o word_n of_o the_o deity_n which_o enter_v into_o the_o humanity_n shut_v up_o and_o close_v in_o the_o death_n and_o curse_n 48._o and_o then_o the_o divine_a mercury_n change_v the_o wrathful_a mercury_n into_o its_o property_n and_o christ_n be_v bear_v who_o bruise_v the_o head_n of_o the_o serpent_n viz._n of_o the_o poison_n and_o
