they_o have_v do_v so_o to_o he_o who_o be_v their_o lord_n and_o master_n and_o partly_o for_o the_o goodness_n of_o the_o cause_n because_o it_o be_v for_o his_o name_n sake_n again_o he_o know_v it_o will_v be_v no_o small_a temptation_n unto_o they_o to_o see_v his_o shameful_a and_o ignominious_a handle_n to_o see_v he_o who_o be_v their_o lord_n to_o be_v so_o wonderful_o humble_v to_o see_v he_o take_v and_o bind_v by_o wicked_a and_o profane_a man_n to_o see_v he_o make_v a_o spectacle_n of_o derision_n first_o in_o the_o hall_n of_o annas_n and_o thereafter_o of_o cajaphas_n to_o be_v so_o strong_a and_o so_o vehement_a to_o brangle_v their_o faith_n that_o at_o the_o last_o all_o shall_v be_v offend_v in_o he_o and_o shall_v flee_v away_o from_o he_o and_o leave_v he_o of_o church_fw-mi of_o edinburgh_n m._n robert_n rollok_n of_o happy_a memory_n for_o his_o painful_a and_o comfortable_a travel_n therein_o and_o for_o his_o manifold_a other_o grace_n deserve_v to_o be_v in_o darkness_n again_o and_o wherein_o by_o some_o religion_n be_v mock_v and_o disdain_v and_o some_o be_v content_a with_o a_o bare_a show_n and_o outward_a profession_n without_o power_n and_o vigour_n thereof_o and_o a_o life_n answer_v thereunto_o be_v compel_v to_o sigh_v for_o the_o great_a wound_n and_o loss_n that_o the_o church_fw-mi suffer_v as_o in_o the_o death_n of_o many_o the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n publicklie_o and_o private_o by_o voice_n and_o by_o pen_n by_o word_n and_o by_o writ_n at_o home_o and_o abroad_o alive_a and_o dead_a and_o his_o conversation_n be_v so_o answerable_a to_o his_o profession_n and_o calling_n that_o the_o very_a malicious_a adversary_n and_o enemy_n themselves_o can_v not_o nor_o dare_v not_o charge_v he_o with_o any_o imputation_n but_o we_o need_v not_o sir_n to_o praise_v he_o unto_o you_o who_o know_v he_o so_o well_o and_o who_o be_v so_o familiar_o conversant_a with_o he_o and_o his_o word_n do_v speak_v sufficient_o to_o also_o for_o your_o cause_n and_o earnest_a request_n to_o who_o we_o be_v so_o much_o oblige_v have_v we_o take_v some_o yea_o no_o small_a pain_n herein_o as_o they_o who_o be_v accustom_v with_o lectures_n and_o our_o labour_n therein_o we_o present_v unto_o you_o to_o be_v publish_v abroad_o under_o your_o protection_n because_o most_o just_o in_o all_o respect_n they_o belong_v unto_o you_o of_o the_o verse_n he_o prevent_v and_o answer_v the_o thing_n that_o some_o may_v have_v object_v against_o this_o doctrine_n that_o he_o be_v the_o way_n for_o it_o may_v have_v be_v say_v to_o
