the_o more_o patient_o he_o suffer_v the_o more_o holy_o and_o virtuous_o the_o more_o charitable_o and_o useful_o he_o live_v in_o this_o world_n the_o more_o good_a work_n will_v accompany_v he_o into_o the_o next_o and_o the_o great_a and_o more_o glorious_a reward_n he_o may_v hope_v to_o receive_v there_o which_o as_o the_o apostle_n reason_n in_o the_o conclusion_n of_o that_o chapter_n concern_v the_o doctrine_n of_o the_o resurrection_n ought_v to_o be_v a_o mighty_a encouragement_n to_o every_o one_o of_o we_o not_o only_o to_o be_v steadfast_a and_o unmoveable_a that_o be_v fix_v and_o resolute_a in_o the_o profession_n and_o practice_n of_o our_o religion_n but_o abound_v likewise_o in_o the_o work_n of_o the_o lord_n forasmuch_o as_o we_o know_v that_o our_o labour_n be_v not_o in_o vain_a in_o the_o lord_n every_o degree_n of_o diligence_n and_o industry_n in_o the_o work_n and_o service_n of_o god_n will_v most_o certain_o one_o day_n turn_v to_o a_o happy_a account_n have_v therefore_o such_o promise_n dear_o belove_v let_v we_o cleanse_v ourselves_o from_o all_o filthiness_n of_o flesh_n and_o spirit_n perfect_a holiness_n in_o the_o fear_n of_o god_n reward_n of_o all_o the_o good_a they_o have_v do_v in_o this_o life_n i_o shall_v now_o have_v proceed_v to_o make_v some_o inference_n from_o this_o discourse_n but_o those_o i_o will_v reserve_v for_o another_o discourse_n on_o this_o subject_a all_o that_o i_o shall_v add_v at_o present_a as_o the_o application_n of_o what_o i_o have_v already_o say_v be_v that_o this_o shall_v stir_v we_o up_o to_o a_o careful_a and_o zealous_a imitation_n of_o those_o bless_a person_n describe_v in_o the_o text_n who_o be_v dead_a in_o the_o lord_n and_o be_v at_o rest_n from_o their_o labour_n and_o who_o work_n do_v accompany_v they_o let_v we_o imitate_v they_o in_o their_o faith_n and_o patience_n in_o their_o piety_n and_o good_a work_n and_o in_o their_o constancy_n to_o god_n and_o his_o truth_n which_o be_v dear_a to_o they_o than_o their_o life_n thus_o their_o virtue_n and_o suffering_n be_v describe_v in_o the_o vision_n of_o this_o book_n chap._n 13.10_o here_o be_v the_o patience_n and_o the_o faith_n of_o the_o saint_n and_o chap._n 14.12_o here_o be_v the_o patience_n of_o the_o saint_n here_o be_v they_o that_o keep_v the_o commandment_n of_o god_n and_o the_o faith_n of_o jesus_n and_o chap._n 12.11_o and_o they_o overcome_v by_o the_o blood_n of_o the_o lamb_n and_o by_o the_o word_n of_o their_o testimony_n and_o they_o love_v not_o their_o life_n unto_o the_o death_n in_o this_o way_n and_o by_o these_o step_n all_o the_o saint_n and_o martyr_n of_o all_o age_n have_v ascend_v up_o to_o heaven_n and_o attain_v to_o that_o bless_a state_n which_o they_o be_v now_o possess_v of_o after_o all_o the_o evil_n which_o they_o suffer_v in_o this_o world_n they_o be_v now_o at_o rest_n from_o their_o labour_n and_o all_o the_o good_a work_n which_o they_o have_v do_v be_v go_v along_o with_o they_o and_o they_o be_v now_o and_o shall_v for_o ever_o be_v receive_v the_o comfort_n and_o reward_n of_o they_o and_o if_o we_o tread_v in_o their_o step_n by_o a_o zealous_a imitation_n of_o the_o piety_n and_o holiness_n of_o their_o life_n and_o of_o the_o constancy_n and_o patience_n of_o their_o suffering_n we_o shall_v one_o day_n be_v translate_v into_o their_o bless_a society_n and_o make_v partaker_n with_o they_o of_o the_o same_o glorious_a reward_n if_o we_o have_v our_o fruit_n unto_o holiness_n our_o end_n shall_v be_v
