steadfast_o believe_v and_o teach_v but_o let_v they_o remember_v to_o prove_v unto_o we_o that_o the_o la_o be_v abolish_v as_o a_o rule_n of_o lief_a &_o for_o observation_n for_o this_o be_v that_o ii_o a_o exposition_n of_o the_o four_o commandment_n together_o with_o a_o discovery_n of_o the_o manifold_a lamentable_a shameful_a and_o abominable_a corruption_n and_o abuse_n of_o this_o divine_a law_n of_o god_n by_o many_o minister_n of_o these_o time_n through_o their_o false_a gloss_n idle_a answer_n and_o absurd_a exposition_n of_o it_o sect_n i._o in_o the_o former_a chapter_n to_o the_o end_n that_o we_o may_v vindicate_v the_o lord_n sabbath_n we_o have_v defend_v the_o moral_a law_n against_o anabaptist_n and_o antinomian_o and_o now_o in_o this_o and_o the_o follow_a chapter_n of_o this_o book_n for_o the_o same_o end_n namely_o to_o vindicate_v the_o lord_n sabbath_n we_o will_v defend_v the_o integrity_n and_o perfection_n of_o the_o moral_a law_n against_o protestant_n and_o papist_n for_o anabaptist_n and_o antinomian_o deny_v the_o whole_a la_o protestant_n and_o papist_n deny_v the_o wholnesse_n of_o the_o la_o they_o will_v yield_v no_o obedience_n at_o all_o to_o the_o law_n these_o will_v yield_v obedience_n but_o by_o half_n and_o of_o this_o number_n be_v those_o ten_o minister_n my_o profess_a enemy_n in_o this_o point_n who_o in_o special_a sort_n in_o and_o about_o norwich_n as_o for_o papist_n tell_v they_o of_o their_o sin_n of_o idolatry_n in_o worship_v of_o image_n etc._n etc._n against_o the_o second_o commandment_n of_o this_o law_n the_o moral_a law_n or_o law_n of_o the_o sabbath_n 3._o i_o answer_v by_o denial_n of_o the_o consequence_n for_o since_o the_o duty_n in_o the_o sabbath_n day_n be_v many_o it_o follow_v not_o that_o if_o some_o one_o of_o those_o duty_n be_v abolish_v the_o day_n must_v also_o be_v abolish_v wherein_o it_o be_v do_v for_o since_o the_o other_o duty_n of_o rest_n and_o god_n worship_v remain_v still_o the_o time_n and_o day_n may_v remain_v still_o for_o these_o duty_n sake_n sect_n xi_o 7._o they_o argue_v out_o of_o ij_o text_n together_o joh._n 7.22.23_o and_o mat._n 12.5_o in_o not_o only_o the_o day_n &_o time_n to_o wit_n the_o seven_o day_n give_v way_n unto_o circumcision_n &_o unto_o sacrifice_n but_o also_o the_o rest_n and_o cessation_n from_o labour_n and_o the_o worship_n of_o god_n in_o the_o holy_a exercise_n of_o the_o sabbath_n both_o these_o give_v way_n as_o well_o as_o the_o time_n wherefore_o if_o this_o their_o argument_n be_v good_a for_o the_o prove_v of_o the_o time_n to_o be_v a_o ceremony_n and_o abolish_v then_o must_v it_o be_v as_o good_a also_o for_o the_o prove_v those_o duty_n of_o rest_n and_o holy_a exercise_n to_o be_v ceremony_n &_o abolish_v and_o than_o what_o be_v become_v of_o the_o four_o come_v and_o where_o be_v the_o morality_n of_o rest_n and_o the_o performance_n of_o holy_a exercise_n enjoin_v in_o the_o four_o come_v thus_o still_o you_o see_v like_o man_n of_o a_o malevolent_a spirit_n they_o hunt_v all_o the_o scripture_n over_o to_o find_v out_o something_o or_o other_o against_o god_n ordinance_n among_o jew_n &_o gentile_n all_o the_o world_n over_o the_o same_o seven_o day_n any_o nation_n have_v at_o the_o creation_n the_o same_o seven_o day_n it_o have_v still_o to_o this_o day_n so_o as_o the_o seven_o day_n this_o time_n of_o god_n worship_n it_o be_v not_o too_o narrow_a for_o the_o bound_n of_o the_o church_n as_o the_o temple_n be_v for_o it_o be_v as_o large_a as_o the_o church_n of_o god_n be_v or_o can_v be_v &_o therefore_o there_o be_v no_o necessity_n that_o it_o shall_v be_v alter_v sect_n xiii_o 9th_o they_o argue_v from_o all_o those_o text_n of_o scripture_n whereby_o weekly_o the_o old_a sabbath_n on_o the_o seven_o day_n &_o the_o new_a sabbath_n on_o the_o 8_o day_n so_o that_o the_o set_n up_o of_o this_o lord_n day_n sabbath_n be_v but_o a_o addition_n of_o a_o new_a sabbath_n unto_o the_o old_a sabbath_n like_v as_o when_o a_o man_n build_v a_o new_a house_n by_o the_o side_n of_o a_o old_a house_n this_o be_v but_o a_o addition_n of_o house_n to_o house_n it_o be_v no_o alteration_n or_o change_v for_o the_o raise_v up_o of_o a_o new_a house_n by_o the_o side_n of_o a_o old_a house_n be_v not_o the_o demolish_n &_o throw_v down_o of_o the_o old_a house_n sect_n fourteen_o 10._o they_o argue_v from_o all_o the_o new_a testament_n negatiuly_a say_v of_o all_o the_o 10._o commandment_n the_o four_o come_v be_v not_o where_o mention_v in_o day_n joh._n 5.16_o what_o need_v then_o be_v there_o that_o christ_n or_o his_o apostle_n shall_v repeat_v the_o four_o come_v to_o the_o jew_n or_o urge_v they_o to_o keep_v the_o sabbath_n day_n
