unto_o i_o and_o i_o hope_v to_o be_v better_o acquaint_v with_o they_o in_o the_o world_n to_o come_v than_o ever_o i_o be_v in_o this_o world_n i_o ac-acknowledge_a also_o that_o there_o be_v diverse_a now_o live_v among_o you_o of_o who_o i_o be_o persuade_v such_o thing_n as_o accompany_v salvation_n that_o they_o do_v sincere_o love_v god_n and_o his_o truth_n and_o have_v not_o receive_v the_o grace_n of_o god_n nor_o the_o word_n of_o his_o grace_n in_o vain_a and_o my_o prayer_n for_o such_o be_v that_o they_o may_v persevere_v in_o grace_n unto_o the_o end_n hold_v fast_o the_o pattern_n of_o wholesome_a word_n which_o they_o have_v receive_v and_o may_v never_o suffer_v themselves_o to_o be_v draw_v away_o with_o the_o error_n of_o the_o wicked_a and_o so_o fall_v now_o by_o reason_n of_o this_o everlasting_a separation_n of_o they_o from_o all_o union_n and_o communion_n with_o god_n with_o christ_n and_o the_o saint_n they_o shall_v never_o have_v any_o experience_n of_o god_n goodness_n mercy_n and_o love_n towards_o they_o in_o christ_n neither_o shall_v they_o ever_o have_v any_o experience_n of_o the_o saint_n favour_n and_o fellowship_n but_o suffer_v this_o death_n in_o the_o world_n to_o come_v even_o for_o their_o sin_n as_o the_o meritorious_a cause_n thereof_o and_o then_o they_o shall_v acknowledge_v that_o every_o sin_n of_o they_o have_v bring_v this_o death_n upon_o they_o 3._o that_o the_o final_a cause_n of_o it_o shall_v be_v the_o glory_n of_o god_n justice_n for_o he_o shall_v punish_v they_o with_o everlasting_a death_n that_o he_o may_v manifest_v the_o glory_n of_o his_o justice_n upon_o they_o and_o that_o all_o man_n may_v see_v his_o righteousness_n this_o latter_a proposition_n may_v inform_v we_o as_o before_o 1._o that_o it_o have_v be_v good_a for_o reprobate_n if_o they_o use_v have_v never_o be_v bear_v for_o if_o they_o have_v never_o be_v bear_v they_o can_v never_o have_v suffer_v everlasting_a death_n but_o now_o see_v they_o have_v be_v be_v or_o shall_v be_v all_o bear_v this_o death_n shall_v seize_v upon_o they_o 2._o that_o it_o will_v be_v worse_o with_o such_o in_o the_o world_n to_o come_v then_o it_o can_v be_v with_o they_o in_o this_o world_n for_o here_o they_o can_v suffer_v no_o other_o than_o a_o temporal_a death_n but_o hereafter_o they_o shall_v suffer_v eternal_a death_n not_o without_o cause_n but_o for_o their_o sin_n 3._o that_o all_o man_n live_v in_o the_o body_n shall_v take_v some_o speedy_a course_n for_o their_o own_o safety_n that_o they_o be_v preserve_v from_o eternal_a death_n for_o i_o know_v that_o none_o of_o we_o be_v willing_a to_o suffer_v this_o death_n with_o reprobate_n in_o the_o world_n to_o come_v and_o the_o word_n of_o god_n prescribe_v a_o way_n for_o the_o avoid_n of_o it_o and_o therefore_o all_o shall_v take_v this_o way_n or_o this_o course_n for_o their_o own_o safety_n and_o preservation_n object_n but_o what_o course_n must_v we_o take_v for_o to_o preserve_v ourselves_o from_o this_o eternal_a death_n sol._n first_o we_o must_v earnest_o pray_v to_o have_v our_o sin_n pardon_v as_o our_o saviour_n have_v teach_v we_o in_o his_o prayer_n and_o this_o pardon_n of_o sin_n will_v preserve_v we_o from_o eternal_a death_n as_o may_v appear_v by_o that_o speech_n of_o nathan_n to_o david_n god_n have_v put_v away_o thy_o sin_n thou_o shall_v not_o die_v 2_o sam._n 12._o as_o if_o he_o have_v say_v though_o thou_o may_v and_o must_v die_v a_o temporal_a death_n yet_o thou_o shall_v not_o die_v a_o eternal_a death_n because_o god_n have_v pardon_v thy_o sin_n second_o because_o this_o pardon_n of_o sin_n can_v be_v obtain_v without_o a_o lively_a faith_n in_o christ_n we_o must_v in_o the_o of_o many_o both_o in_o public_a and_o in_o private_a when_o they_o speak_v of_o the_o world_n to_o come_v and_o you_o shall_v find_v that_o they_o will_v never_o express_v distinct_o what_o they_o to_o beget_v worse_o both_o in_o respect_n of_o sin_n and_o also_o in_o respect_n of_o pain_n or_o punishment_n yet_o i_o find_v in_o some_o book_n print_v of_o late_a year_n use_v that_o some_o man_n have_v dream_v of_o a_o great_a change_n in_o this_o world_n before_o the_o end_n not_o for_o the_o worse_o but_o for_o the_o better_a they_o say_v that_o this_o old_a world_n in_o its_o latter_a age_n and_o towards_o its_o end_n shall_v grow_v better_o and_o be_v more_o free_a from_o sin_n and_o pain_n then_o ever_o it_o be_v for_o say_v they_o upon_o the_o fall_n of_o antichrist_n there_o shall_v be_v a_o national_a conversion_n of_o the_o jew_n and_o thereupon_o shall_v follow_v a_o great_a conversion_n of_o the_o gentile_n and_o such_o a_o golden_a age_n for_o holiness_n and_o world_n to_o come_v by_o any_o thing_n they_o shall_v do_v or_o suffer_v in_o obedience_n to_o god_n will_v in_o this_o world_n for_o suppose_v they_o shall_v do_v much_o here_o in_o obedience_n to_o his_o will_n as_o pray_v much_o hear_v much_o read_z much_o meditate_v much_o believe_v much_o repent_v much_o love_v much_o etc._n etc._n and_o suppose_v they_o shall_v suffer_v much_o here_o in_o
