minister_a in_o your_o faith_n virtue_n and_o in_o your_o virtue_n knowledge_n in_o knowledge_n abstinence_n in_o abstinence_n patience_n in_o patience_n piety_n in_o piety_n brotherly_a love_n in_o brotherly_a love_n charity_n and_o if_o you_o do_v these_o thing_n and_o abound_v therein_o you_o shall_v not_o be_v find_v empty_a nor_o without_o fruit_n in_o the_o knowledge_n of_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n as_o if_o he_o shall_v say_v he_o that_o shall_v not_o addict_v himself_o whole_o to_o the_o study_n and_o exercise_v of_o these_o virtue_n he_o know_v not_o christ_n but_o he_o that_o by_o faith_n profit_v in_o they_o he_o grow_v in_o christ_n all_o other_o as_o proud_a one_o wrathful_a one_o covetous_a one_o impatient_a one_o profit_v not_o in_o christ_n but_o in_o the_o devil_n and_o it_o be_v leave_v we_o christian_n in_o precept_n that_o as_o a_o child_n by_o little_a and_o little_a and_o in_o time_n be_v make_v a_o man_n so_o we_o may_v grow_v in_o faith_n and_o in_o the_o study_n of_o virtue_n to_o perfect_a we_o the_o fruit_n of_o the_o death_n of_o christ_n in_o we_o man_n to_o the_o measure_n of_o full_a age_n in_o christ_n ephes_n 4._o coloss_n 1._o but_o to_o who_o these_o thing_n be_v not_o ready_a or_o at_o hand_n say_v saint_n peter_n 2._o epist_n 1._o he_o be_v blind_a and_o hand-bound_a forgetful_a of_o the_o purge_n of_o his_o old_a sin_n as_o if_o he_o shall_v say_v it_o be_v for_o certain_a that_o christ_n by_o his_o death_n and_o blood_n take_v and_o do_v bear_v all_o our_o sin_n but_o in_o the_o mean_a time_n we_o must_v beware_v that_o we_o addict_v not_o ourselves_o to_o sin_n hereafter_o but_o rather_o the_o death_n of_o christ_n fructify_a in_o we_o we_o die_v to_o the_o world_n and_o live_v in_o christ_n which_o whosoever_o do_v not_o care_n to_o do_v to_o this_o man_n it_o be_v plain_a that_o the_o purge_n of_o his_o old_a sin_n profit_v nothing_o whereupon_o it_o follow_v if_o we_o desire_v to_o have_v the_o sin_n of_o our_o former_a life_n remit_v and_o pardon_v we_o must_v forbear_v â—â—_o sin_o we_o must_v repent_v and_o believe_v in_o christ_n which_o if_o we_o do_v not_o than_o we_o retain_v all_o those_o sin_n of_o our_o former_a life_n and_o they_o be_v to_o be_v lament_v by_o we_o to_o all_o eternity_n without_o all_o hope_n of_o expiation_n or_o forgiveness_n so_o that_o it_o be_v possible_a that_o even_o for_o wrath_n alone_o a_o man_n may_v be_v damn_v which_o if_o he_o have_v by_o christian_a lowliness_n correct_v then_o in_o truth_n he_o have_v obtain_v pardon_n for_o all_o his_o other_o sin_n which_o because_o he_o neglect_v to_o do_v therefore_o according_a to_o the_o word_n of_o saint_n peter_n he_o be_v blind_a be_v forgetful_a of_o the_o purge_n of_o his_o old_a sin_n whereby_o it_o be_v give_v to_o understand_v repentance_n the_o necessity_n of_o repentance_n how_o necessary_a a_o thing_n repentance_n be_v and_o the_o change_n to_o a_o betterness_n for_o although_o christ_n die_v for_o our_o sin_n blot_v they_o out_o and_o abolish_n they_o with_o the_o incomparable_a price_n of_o his_o blood_n yet_o we_o do_v not_o participate_v of_o that_o merit_n unless_o we_o repent_v it_o profit_v nothing_o and_o howsoever_o every_o man_n be_v promise_v pardon_n for_o his_o sin_n for_o the_o merit_n of_o christ_n yet_o that_o promise_n pertain_v nothing_o to_o thou_o to_o the_o unbeliever_n nor_o the_o impenitent_a but_o to_o those_o alone_o which_o do_v amend_v their_o life_n when_o it_o be_v most_o meet_a that_o those_o sin_n be_v remit_v which_o we_o go_v not_o about_o to_o remember_v but_o those_o only_o which_o we_o be_v hearty_o grieve_v for_o and_o to_o this_o pertain_v that_o which_o be_v speak_v matth._n 11._o the_o poor_a receive_v the_o gospel_n that_o be_v obtain_v the_o remission_n of_o sin_n now_o
