above_o those_o they_o count_v and_o make_v miserable_a here_o for_o as_o wealthy_a as_o they_o be_v they_o have_v their_o time_n set_v they_o by_o god_n which_o they_o can_v lengthen_v a_o moment_n neither_o their_o own_o life_n nor_o their_o friend_n or_o kinsman_n but_o when_o their_o hour_n come_v one_o must_v die_v as_o well_o as_o the_o other_o how_o vain_a then_o be_v their_o confidence_n in_o riches_n ever_o 8_o for_o however_o money_n may_v buy_v other_o thing_n yet_o life_n the_o principal_a of_o man_n happiness_n neither_o temporal_a nor_o eternal_a will_v be_v purchase_v by_o it_o have_v a_o mind_n shall_v live_v can_v he_o with_o all_o his_o wealth_n make_v to_o do_v so_o if_o that_o be_v so_o they_o will_v be_v sure_a to_o live_v always_o and_o never_o die_v for_o they_o know_v no_o happiness_n but_o what_o this_o world_n afford_v on_o the_o other_o side_n the_o grave_n they_o look_v for_o no_o good_a 10_o and_o though_o this_o be_v so_o perish_v that_o they_o can_v have_v a_o everlasting_a happiness_n by_o the_o transitory_a and_o fade_a wealth_n of_o this_o world_n but_o that_o they_o must_v part_v from_o it_o and_o leave_v it_o behind_o they_o which_o they_o see_v by_o daily_a experience_n in_o other_o of_o their_o rank_n that_o death_n make_v no_o difference_n of_o rich_a and_o worldly_a wise_a man_n from_o those_o that_o they_o count_v fool_n and_o brutish_a and_o for_o all_o their_o wisdom_n in_o get_v and_o forecast_v they_o be_v not_o only_o so_o unhappy_a as_o to_o leave_v their_o estate_n behind_o they_o but_o when_o they_o be_v dead_a oft_o time_n they_o have_v it_o that_o they_o never_o mean_v it_o to_o 11_o yet_o for_o all_o they_o see_v name_n and_o can_v but_o know_v this_o they_o be_v far_o from_o reflect_v upon_o themselves_o and_o see_v their_o error_n but_o notwithstanding_o it_o their_o thought_n and_o mind_n be_v whole_o still_o take_v up_o how_o to_o greaten_v and_o perpetuate_v themselves_o and_o their_o family_n as_o if_o it_o be_v so_o that_o they_o shall_v never_o die_v nor_o part_n from_o that_o they_o have_v and_o dream_n of_o a_o earthly_a immortality_n and_o felicity_n and_o none_o other_o be_v ignorant_a of_o heaven_n 12_o but_o let_v they_o think_v what_o they_o will_v of_o this_o their_o earthly_a happiness_n perish_v and_o price_n it_o never_o so_o high_o and_o hope_v to_o enjoy_v it_o everlasting_o yet_o they_o shall_v find_v themselves_o mistake_v miserable_o they_o and_o their_o contentment_n will_v not_o last_v long_o much_o less_o always_o be_v they_o never_o so_o high_o promote_v they_o shall_v stoop_v to_o death_n and_o then_o for_o all_o their_o honour_n and_o happiness_n here_o what_o difference_n between_o they_o and_o the_o very_a brute_n beast_n who_o happiness_n be_v here_o also_o for_o as_o the_o one_o so_o the_o other_o by_o death_n bid_v farewell_n to_o felicity_n which_o only_o this_o life_n afford_v they_o 13_o however_o these_o man_n applaud_v themselves_o in_o their_o worldly_a wisdom_n and_o happiness_n selah_n and_o esteem_v other_o man_n fool_n that_o value_v not_o the_o thing_n of_o this_o life_n at_o the_o rate_n they_o do_v yet_o this_o their_o wisdom_n be_v but_o foolishness_n and_o their_o confidence_n their_o deceit_n and_o their_o end_n prove_v it_o whereby_o all_o happiness_n end_v with_o they_o but_o as_o nothing_o be_v more_o apparent_a so_o nor_o less_o believe_v for_o their_o posterity_n tread_v in_o the_o same_o step_n approve_v of_o their_o father_n error_n and_o think_v that_o folly_n that_o deceive_v they_o to_o be_v the_o only_a wisdom_n and_o so_o be_v in_o like_a sort_n deceive_v themselves_o and_o so_o let_v they_o be_v dwell_n 14_o though_o here_o on_o earth_n by_o their_o pomp_n and_o plentiful_a way_n of_o live_v they_o be_v distinguish_v from_o other_o man_n of_o inferior_a rank_n yet_o the_o grave_n will_v make_v no_o difference_n but_o as_o sheep_n be_v put_v into_o a_o fold_n so_o shall_v the_o grave_n receive_v they_o like_a as_o it_o do_v other_o man_n and_o the_o worm_n there_o consume_v they_o and_o those_o that_o here_o they_o set_v so_o light_a by_o and_o trample_v upon_o the_o godly_a and_o faithful_a one_o after_o the_o long_a night_n of_o the_o grave_n be_v over_o and_o that_o christ_n in_o his_o second_o come_n shall_v appear_v and_o they_o with_o he_o in_o glory_n and_o immortality_n then_o shall_v these_o despise_a righteous_a one_o be_v their_o judge_n and_o shall_v approve_v that_o to_o be_v the_o only_a true_a wisdom_n which_o in_o they_o they_o count_v here_o to_o be_v but_o foolishness_n thus_o shall_v all_o the_o honour_n and_o contentment_n they_o have_v here_o on_o earth_n end_n in_o the_o grave_n in_o corruption_n and_o rottenness_n and_o they_o never_o like_v to_o see_v good_a day_n again_o selah_n 15_o but_o how_o ever_o my_o case_n and_o the_o case_n of_o the_o child_n of_o god_n may_v here_o seem_v miserable_a lazarus_n like_v whilst_o they_o lie_v under_o the_o contempt_n and_o oppression_n of_o the_o dives-es_a of_o this_o world_n yet_o be_v we_o sure_a of_o everlasting_a salvation_n which_o they_o shall_v not_o partake_v of_o for_o god_n in_o faithfulness_n and_o mercy_n will_v raise_v we_o up_o from_o death_n to_o life_n and_o though_o our_o body_n have_v suffer_v in_o this_o world_n our_o soul_n shall_v be_v save_v in_o the_o next_o for_o as_o we_o belong_v to_o the_o election_n of_o his_o grace_n so_o he_o will_v be_v sure_a to_o receive_v we_o into_o glory_n of_o this_o we_o may_v be_v confident_a 16_o and_o as_o i_o say_v before_o increase_v what_o need_v i_o or_o any_o other_o child_n of_o god_n then_o fear_v what_o man_n can_v do_v unto_o we_o though_o we_o see_v power_n put_v into_o worldly_a man_n hand_n that_o fear_v not_o god_n though_o wealth_n and_o honour_n increase_v upon_o they_o 17_o let_v not_o this_o dismay_v we_o he_o nor_o make_v we_o envy_v they_o but_o consider_v such_o a_o man_n end_n when_o death_n come_v and_o die_v he_o must_v then_o and_o there_o he_o shall_v be_v poor_a enough_o and_o low_a enough_o neither_o his_o honour_n nor_o riches_n shall_v than_o god_n own_o child_n that_o want_v what_o he_o have_v and_o sure_o so_o think_v other_o too_o the_o world_n general_o believe_v those_o man_n only_o to_o be_v happy_a and_o in_o a_o good_a condition_n that_o have_v the_o world_n at_o will_n and_o pamper_v themselves_o with_o that_o they_o have_v these_o be_v they_o that_o be_v have_v in_o reputation_n for_o the_o only_a wise_a and_o happy_a man_n 19_o but_o alas_o light_n how_o be_v they_o deceive_v both_o the_o one_o and_o the_o other_o for_o he_o must_v die_v as_o his_o forefather_n do_v in_o their_o time_n and_o turn_n his_o happiness_n here_o will_v have_v a_o end_n as_o they_o have_v and_o then_o begin_v his_o misery_n as_o they_o do_v which_o will_v have_v no_o end_n the_o lamp_n of_o this_o life_n shall_v extinguish_v in_o utter_a darkness_n perish_v 20_o the_o sum_n and_o substance_n of_o all_o be_v this_o that_o those_o man_n that_o have_v honour_n and_o riches_n if_o withal_o they_o have_v not_o the_o truth_n and_o benefit_n vouchsafe_v to_o they_o glorious_a 2_o they_o shall_v have_v their_o temple_n as_o well_o as_o we_o even_o the_o gentile_n shall_v partake_v so_o liberal_o of_o his_o save_a grace_n as_o that_o in_o the_o antitype_n and_o compliment_n of_o all_o our_o ceremonious_a music_n they_o shall_v upon_o the_o come_n of_o christ_n &_o his_o have_v a_o church_n among_o they_o spiritual_o &_o in_o a_o more_o divine_a strain_n than_o we_o honour_n and_o magnify_v his_o save_a goodness_n &_o glorious_o praise_v he_o for_o it_o in_o high_a degree_n of_o faith_n and_o though_o at_o that_o time_n it_o overflow_v not_o go_v over_o it_o by_o help_n of_o boat_n or_o bridge_n but_o just_a as_o they_o do_v before_o through_o the_o red-sea_n the_o water_n be_v divide_v miraculous_o and_o they_o go_v through_o on_o foot_n in_o the_o face_n of_o their_o enemy_n as_o if_o there_o have_v be_v no_o river_n betwixt_o o_o the_o joy_n that_o then_o be_v apprehend_v by_o our_o forefather_n at_o the_o sight_n and_o experience_n of_o such_o wonderful_a power_n and_o goodness_n of_o god_n extend_v to_o his_o church_n in_o their_o so_o supernatural_a accommodation_n for_o their_o safe_a transport_v and_o their_o enemis_fw-fr destruction_n and_o dishearten_v which_o ought_v also_o in_o the_o memory_n of_o it_o to_o rejoice_v we_o and_o the_o people_n of_o god_n for_o ever_o be_v wrought_v by_o god_n as_o a_o pledge_n and_o assurance_n of_o his_o continual_a love_n towards_o the_o whole_a body_n of_o his_o church_n and_o that_o he_o be_v the_o eternal_a saviour_n of_o it_o from_o which_o act_n therefore_o aught_o to_o flow_v cause_n of_o rejoice_v to_o we_o and_o all_o the_o godly_a in_o all_o age_n in_o the_o faith_n of_o the_o same_o immutable_a goodness_n
