day_n i_o will_v build_v a_o other_o make_v without_o hand_n and_o neither_o yet_o be_v their_o witness_n sufficient_a enough_o then_o the_o chief_a priest_n arise_v and_o stand_v amongst_o they_o no_o mean_n what_o we_o then_o hope_v for_o let_v they_o therefore_o observe_v equity_n and_o not_o follow_v affection_n the_o ungodly_a do_v wrest_v the_o word_n of_o christ_n contrary_a to_o his_o meaning_n and_o this_o slander_n be_v a_o part_n of_o false_a witness_n when_o as_o we_o do_v either_o perverte_v any_o man_n word_n or_o talk_n or_o do_v rehearse_v they_o otherwise_o then_o he_o speak_v they_o or_o else_o enterpreate_v they_o otherwise_o then_o he_o speak_v or_o mean_v they_o christ_n speak_v of_o the_o temple_n of_o his_o body_n and_o they_o false_o interpret_v it_o to_o the_o material_a temple_n even_o as_o in_o the_o old_a time_n sacrifice_n be_v do_v in_o the_o temple_n and_o peace_n offrynge_v and_o cleansing_n be_v do_v by_o sacrifice_n so_o be_v christ_n make_v a_o sacrifice_n upon_o the_o cross_n for_o our_o sin_n pacify_v god_n his_o wrath_n against_o we_o and_o sanctify_a us._n in_o that_o christ_n hold_v his_o peace_n at_o the_o false_a witness_n it_o be_v not_o somuch_o because_o of_o his_o meaknes_n as_o because_o of_o his_o wisdom_n this_o example_n ought_v they_o to_o follow_v which_o be_v oppress_v with_o false_a witness_n &_o chief_o before_o such_o a_o judge_n as_o esteme_v and_o geve_v credit_n to_o false_a witness_n for_o than_o no_o answer_n or_o excuse_n be_v any_o thing_n worth_a it_o shall_v be_v most_o safeguard_n to_o keep_v silence_n i_o adjure_v thou_o that_o thou_o tell_v i_o whether_o thou_o be_v the_o son_n of_o god_n by_o this_o question_n it_o be_v manifest_a that_o the_o jew_n confess_v and_o know_v right_n well_o that_o the_o messiah_n shall_v be_v the_o son_n of_o god_n but_o they_o ask_v he_o this_o captious_a question_n to_o the_o intent_n that_o they_o may_v caville_v and_o malicious_o accuse_v he_o in_o his_o answer_n that_o be_v that_o they_o may_v take_v and_o trap_n he_o in_o his_o talk_n that_o he_o which_o have_v make_v himself_o the_o son_n of_o god_n shall_v therefore_o be_v worthy_a to_o dye_v and_o that_o according_a to_o the_o law_n so_o do_v our_o papist_n now_o of_o day_n extorte_n of_o the_o minister_n of_o the_o word_n what_o their_o opinion_n be_v of_o this_o new_a doctrine_n as_o they_o term_v it_o and_o when_o they_o answer_v they_o the_o truth_n then_o be_v they_o by_o and_o by_o put_v to_o torment_n but_o if_o they_o hold_v their_o peace_n they_o betray_v the_o truth_n wherefore_o the_o hypocrite_n do_v seek_v the_o truth_n to_o this_o intent_n that_o they_o may_v persecute_v it_o when_o they_o know_v it_o and_o also_o kill_v he_o which_o confess_v it_o hereafter_o
