and_o to_o leave_v it_o how_o be_v this_o reformation_n of_o ourselves_o wrought_v in_o we_o only_o by_o the_o promise_n of_o the_o gospel_n whereby_o we_o feel_v the_o fruit_n of_o the_o rise_n secondlie_o that_o they_o that_o do_v they_o be_v such_o as_o be_v ingraft_v into_o christ_n and_o continue_v in_o he_o what_o say_v you_o then_o of_o the_o good_a work_n of_o they_o that_o be_v not_o in_o christ_n they_o do_v no_o good_a work_n because_o they_o neither_o be_v as_o yet_o member_n of_o christ_n nor_o do_v offer_v they_o to_o god_n in_o the_o name_n of_o christ._n 3._o the_o three_o what_o difference_n be_v there_o between_o penitence_n and_o repentance_n penitence_n be_v a_o sorrow_n for_o sin_n wrought_v by_o the_o law_n repentance_n be_v a_o recover_v ourselves_o from_o sin_n wrought_v by_o the_o gospel_n be_v there_o such_o difference_n between_o the_o law_n and_o the_o gospel_n yea_o for_o the_o law_n differ_v from_o the_o gospel_n in_o four_o thing_n gospel_n 1_o first_o the_o law_n reveal_v sin_n rebuke_v we_o for_o it_o and_o leave_v we_o in_o it_o but_o the_o gospel_n do_v reveal_v unto_o we_o remission_n of_o sin_n bring_v we_o to_o christ_n and_o breath_n and_o therefore_o if_o we_o have_v they_o we_o must_v not_o put_v our_o trust_n in_o they_o and_o if_o we_o want_v they_o we_o must_v not_o distrust_v in_o god_n do_v moses_n and_o eliah_n live_v beg_v observation_n their_o bread_n if_o we_o no_o doubt_n can_v come_v to_o such_o measure_n of_o obedience_n as_o they_o do_v then_o and_o if_o we_o can_v be_v righteous_a as_o in_o his_o time_n man_n be_v the_o lord_n will_v provide_v for_o we_o as_o well_o as_o he_o do_v for_o they_o and_o we_o shall_v have_v as_o good_a experience_n hereof_o as_o ever_o have_v david_n to_o this_o 28._o whole_a heart_n desire_n and_o crave_v of_o the_o lord_n that_o his_o bless_a name_n may_v be_v glorify_v that_o his_o kingdom_n may_v be_v enlarge_v and_o his_o holy_a will_n perform_v but_o the_o mean_n to_o bring_v these_o thing_n to_o pass_v we_o must_v whole_o leave_v unto_o he_o who_o know_v what_o be_v best_a and_o in_o other_o thing_n which_o concern_v our_o outward_a estate_n we_o shall_v have_v they_o and_o when_o we_o free_o give_v they_o up_o to_o he_o he_o will_v soon_o give_v they_o we_o again_o solomon_n desire_a wisdom_n of_o the_o lord_n but_o for_o outward_a thing_n his_o prayer_n be_v that_o he_o may_v have_v a_o mean_a estate_n then_o the_o lord_n give_v he_o wisdom_n which_o his_o heart_n so_o much_o desire_v 10._o and_o riches_n also_o which_o he_o do_v not_o once_o desire_v oh_o happy_a man_n if_o in_o his_o heart_n he_o have_v desire_v to_o walk_v before_o the_o lord_n in_o fear_n abraham_n give_v unto_o the_o lord_n isaac_n his_o son_n which_o when_o be_v good_a for_o we_o we_o shall_v receive_v they_o again_o if_o not_o we_o shall_v receive_v some_o spiritual_a grace_n which_o better_a shall_v supply_v the_o want_n of_o they_o yea_o the_o infinite_a wisdom_n and_o mercy_n of_o god_n do_v wonderful_o appear_v herein_o for_o sometime_o he_o keep_v we_o long_o without_o these_o thing_n because_o that_o if_o we_o have_v they_o he_o see_v we_o will_v abuse_v they_o and_o will_v prefer_v they_o before_o spiritual_a blessing_n and_o sometime_o the_o lord_n see_v our_o small_a regard_n and_o account_v of_o spiritual_a thing_n will_v by_o the_o want_n of_o these_o outward_a thing_n bring_v we_o to_o make_v great_a account_n of_o they_o that_o when_o we_o can_v well_o want_v the_o one_o and_o high_o esteem_v the_o other_o we_o may_v have_v both_o together_o let_v we_o therefore_o reverence_v this_o great_a goodness_n and_o wisdom_n of_o the_o lord_n and_o be_v content_a with_o the_o use_n of_o life_n which_o he_o in_o mercy_n grant_v we_o know_v that_o it_o be_v better_a to_o be_v a_o live_a dog_n then_o a_o dead_a lyon_n for_o while_o we_o live_v we_o have_v time_n to_o repent_v and_o time_n to_o glorify_v god_n but_o after_o death_n there_o be_v no_o time_n leave_v for_o repentance_n whosoever_o then_o do_v not_o account_v the_o use_n of_o life_n a_o singular_a benefit_n though_o he_o do_v even_o want_v thing_n
