dare_v to_o trust_v his_o omrahs_n overmuch_o who_o most_o be_v persian_n and_o not_o of_o the_o same_o religion_n with_o he_o but_o chias_n like_o the_o king_n of_o persia_n and_o golkonda_n the_o six_o and_o the_o most_o considerable_a of_o all_o be_v to_o employ_v they_o against_o the_o persian_n upon_o occasion_n not_o dare_v then_o also_o to_o confide_v in_o his_o omrahs_n who_o for_o the_o great_a part_n as_o be_v just_a now_o say_v be_v persian_n and_o consequent_o have_v no_o stomach_n to_o fight_v against_o their_o natural_a king_n and_o the_o less_o because_o they_o believe_v he_o to_o be_v their_o imam_n their_o caliph_n or_o high_a priest_n descend_v from_o aly_n and_o against_o who_o therefore_o they_o believe_v they_o can_v make_v war_n without_o a_o crime_n or_o a_o great_a sin_n the_o mogul_n be_v far_o oblige_v to_o entertain_v some_o patans_n for_o the_o same_o or_o somewhat_o like_o reason_n that_o he_o do_v the_o rajas_n at_o last_o he_o must_v entertain_v that_o strange_a militia_n of_o the_o mogul_n that_o we_o have_v take_v notice_n of_o and_o as_o this_o be_v the_o main_a strength_n of_o his_o state_n and_o which_o oblige_v he_o to_o incredible_a all_o those_o man_n on_o foot_n that_o attend_v the_o ordnance_n where_o something_o will_v occur_v to_o be_v say_v of_o their_o artillery_n it_o be_v not_o to_o be_v think_v that_o the_o omrahs_n or_o lord_n of_o the_o mogul_n court_n be_v son_n of_o great_a family_n as_o in_o france_n all_o the_o land_n of_o that_o empire_n be_v the_o mogul_n propriety_n it_o follow_v that_o there_o be_v neither_o dutchy_n nor_o marquisat_n nor_o any_o family_n rich_a in_o land_n and_o subsist_v of_o its_o own_o income_n and_o patrimony_n and_o often_o enough_o they_o be_v not_o so_o much_o as_o omrahs_n son_n because_o the_o king_n be_v heir_n of_o all_o their_o estate_n it_o be_v consequent_a that_o the_o house_n can_v subsist_v long_o in_o their_o greatness_n on_o the_o contrary_a they_o often_o fall_v and_o that_o on_o a_o sudden_a insomuch_o that_o the_o son_n or_o at_o least_o the_o grandson_n of_o a_o potent_a omrah_n be_v frequent_o after_o the_o death_n of_o their_o father_n reduce_v in_o a_o manner_n to_o beggary_n and_o oblige_v to_o list_n themselves_o under_o some_o omrah_n for_o simple_a horseman_n it_o be_v true_a that_o ordinary_o the_o mogul_n leave_v some_o small_a pension_n to_o the_o widow_n and_o often_o also_o to_o the_o child_n or_o if_o the_o father_n live_v too_o long_o he_o may_v by_o particular_a favour_n advance_v they_o soon_o especial_o if_o they_o be_v proper_a man_n white_a of_o face_n have_v as_o yet_o not_o too_o much_o of_o the_o indian_a complexion_n and_o temper_n and_o so_o pass_v yet_o for_o true_a mogul_n though_o this_o advancement_n by_o favour_n do_v always_o proceed_v in_o a_o slow_a pace_n it_o be_v almost_o a_o general_a custom_n that_o a_o man_n must_v pass_v from_o small_a pay_n and_o small_a place_n to_o great_a one_o these_o omrahs_n then_o be_v common_o but_o adventurer_n and_o stranger_n of_o all_o sort_n of_o nation_n such_o as_o i_o have_v say_v which_o draw_v one_o another_o to_o this_o court_n man_n of_o a_o mean_a descent_n some_o of_o they_o slave_n most_o of_o they_o without_o instruction_n which_o the_o mogul_n thus_o raise_v to_o dignity_n as_o he_o think_v good_a and_o degrade_n or_o more_o in_o proportion_n to_o the_o number_n of_o horse_n i_o say_v of_o horse_n because_o they_o be_v not_o pay_v in_o respect_n of_o the_o horseman_n but_o of_o the_o horse_n the_o omrahs_n have_v power_n to_o entertain_v horseman_n of_o two_o horse_n a_o man_n to_o be_v the_o better_a able_a to_o serve_v in_o the_o hot_a country_n where_o it_o be_v a_o common_a say_n that_o the_o horseman_n that_o have_v but_o one_o horse_n be_v more_o than_o half_a a_o footman_n yet_o we_o must_v not_o think_v that_o they_o be_v oblige_v to_o entertain_v or_o that_o the_o king_n effective_o pay_v so_o many_o horse_n as_o these_o great_a name_n of_o dovazdeh_n or_o hecht_n hazary_n do_v impart_v that_o be_v 12000_o or_o 8000_o horse_n these_o be_v specious_a name_n to_o amuse_v and_o attract_v stranger_n the_o king_n determine_v the_o number_n of_o horse_n in_o actual_a service_n which_o they_o be_v bind_v to_o entertain_v pay_v they_o according_a to_o this_o number_n and_o beside_o that_o he_o pay_v they_o a_o certain_a number_n which_o they_o be_v not_o bind_v to_o entertain_v
