profit_v he_o that_o have_v it_o which_o unprofitableness_n of_o that_o faith_n which_o have_v not_o work_n he_o further_o illustrate_v by_o way_n of_o comparison_n verse_n 15_o 16._o if_o a_o brother_n or_o sister_n be_v naked_a or_o destitute_a of_o daily_a food_n and_o one_o of_o you_o say_v unto_o they_o depart_v in_o peace_n be_v you_o warm_v and_o fill_v notwithstanding_o you_o give_v they_o not_o those_o thing_n which_o be_v needful_a to_o the_o body_n what_o do_v it_o profit_n nothing_o at_o all_o that_o be_v to_o the_o fill_n or_o warm_v of_o the_o necessitous_a person_n even_o in_o the_o sight_n of_o god_n than_o a_o parcel_n of_o good_a word_n will_v feed_v and_o cloth_n fill_v and_o warm_v the_o needy_a brother_n and_o indigent_a sister_n when_o a_o contribution_n of_o a_o real_a relief_n be_v want_v though_o i_o can_v speak_v with_o the_o tongue_n of_o man_n and_o angel_n and_o have_v all_o faith_n so_o that_o i_o can_v remove_v mountain_n and_o have_v not_o love_n 9_o there_o be_v other_o way_n and_o vein_n wherein_o faith_n work_v by_o love_n as_o viz._n by_o do_v to_o all_o man_n in_o point_n of_o commerce_n and_o deal_v as_o they_o themselves_o will_v be_v do_v unto_o in_o like_a case_n mat._n 7.12_o not_o use_v any_o deceit_n or_o fraud_n not_o take_v advantage_n of_o other_o weakness_n not_o cruel_o work_v upon_o other_o necessity_n for_o man_n will_v not_o be_v so_o serve_v themselves_o but_o set_v the_o law_n of_o neighbourly_a and_o brotherly_a love_n before_o they_o in_o all_o their_o civil_a transaction_n and_o affair_n with_o other_o but_o i_o shall_v not_o enlarge_v further_o upon_o this_o doctrine_n of_o love_n as_o it_o be_v a_o effect_n of_o faith_n have_v already_o dwell_v long_o on_o it_o than_o at_o first_o i_o intend_v only_o let_v it_o be_v remember_v for_o a_o close_a of_o this_o matter_n that_o man_n love_n to_o god_n and_o man_n in_o these_o and_o other-like_a way_n of_o work_v hold_v proportion_n with_o their_o faith_n so_o that_o where_o they_o be_v rich_a in_o faith_n they_o abound_v in_o love_n and_o where_o they_o be_v poor_a and_o low_a and_o narrow-spirited_n in_o act_n of_o love_n to_o god_n and_o of_o kindness_n mercy_n and_o bounty_n to_o man_n it_o be_v a_o sure_a sign_n their_o faith_n be_v not_o well_o thrive_v 2_o thes_n 1.3_o we_o be_v bind_v to_o thank_v god_n always_o for_o you_o brethren_n as_o it_o be_v meet_v because_o that_o your_o faith_n grow_v exceed_o and_o the_o charity_n of_o every_o one_o of_o you_o all_o towards_o each_o other_o abound_v mark_v if_o you_o hear_v
