of_o god_n for_o these_o be_v the_o right_a scriptural_a spiritual_a ground_n and_o motive_n of_o our_o keep_a ourselves_o from_o sin_n now_o man_n own_a sin_n dishonour_v god_n oppose_v christ_n and_o grieve_v the_o spirit_n in_o a_o more_o than_o ordinary_a manner_n to_o keep_v from_o some_o sin_n and_o not_o from_o these_o will_v arguea_v rot_v heart_n ii_o because_o for_o person_n to_o ourselves_o from_o these_o our_o iniquity_n these_o be_v the_o master-sin_n the_o lordly-lust_n we_o shall_v do_v by_o these_o as_o the_o king_n of_o syria_n give_v order_n to_o his_o captain_n about_o the_o king_n of_o israel_n 1_o kin._n 22.31_o fight_v neither_o with_o small_a nor_o great_a save_o only_a with_o the_o king_n of_o israel_n they_o be_v to_o fight_v with_o other_o but_o against_o he_o chief_o so_o we_o must_v fight_v against_o every_o sin_n but_o we_o must_v aim_v our_o arrow_n and_o blow_v most_o peculiarly_a against_o our_o king_n lust_n to_o take_v they_o soldier_n among_o their_o enemy_n but_o when_o they_o see_v captain_n or_o the_o general_n to_o let_v they_o escape_v and_o not_o make_v a_o shot_n at_o they_o no_o less_o will_v it_o be_v a_o sign_n of_o a_o false_a rot_a hypocritical_a heart_n to_o keep_v from_o some_o sin_n but_o not_o from_o its_o special_a sin_n but_o on_o the_o other_o hand_n it_o be_v a_o sign_n of_o sincerity_n when_o man_n keep_v themselves_o from_o these_o their_o most_o predominant_a sin_n as_o those_o that_o be_v the_o great_a enemy_n to_o god_n and_o their_o soul_n yea_o thus_o to_o keep_v from_o our_o special_a most_o prevail_a sin_n will_v be_v a_o evidence_n of_o the_o power_n of_o grace_n in_o the_o heart_n as_o it_o be_v a_o evidence_n of_o the_o power_n of_o a_o prince_n when_o he_o be_v get_v into_o the_o heart_n of_o his_o enemy_n country_n and_o take_v his_o fort_n and_o stronghold_n so_o it_o will_v be_v a_o sign_n of_o the_o strength_n of_o grace_n when_o you_o keep_v from_o and_o subdue_v your_o former_o belove_a or_o most_o prevail_a corruption_n for_o these_o be_v the_o stronghold_n that_o sin_n the_o world_n and_o satan_n have_v in_o your_o heart_n therefore_o it_o will_v be_v a_o evidence_n that_o the_o weapon_n of_o your_o warfare_n be_v mighty_a through_o god_n when_o they_o pull_v down_o those_o stronghold_n and_o bring_v down_o every_o high_a thing_n into_o birth_n of_o their_o own_o beget_n at_o god_n door_n yet_o this_o be_v that_o all_o man_n be_v ready_a to_o do_v and_o they_o have_v learn_v this_o vile_a practice_n from_o our_o first_o parent_n gen._n 3.12_o 13._o the_o man_n lay_v the_o blame_n on_o the_o woman_n and_o the_o woman_n on_o the_o serpent_n yea_o adam_n in_o effect_n lay_v it_o upon_o god_n himself_o when_o he_o say_v the_o woman_n thou_o give_v i_o she_o give_v i_o and_o i_o do_v eat_v q._n d._n if_o thou_o have_v not_o give_v i_o the_o woman_n and_o she_o persuade_v i_o i_o have_v not_o eat_v therefore_o charge_v not_o thy_o sin_n on_o other_o persuade_v allure_a or_o threaten_v of_o thou_o they_o may_v be_v instrument_n and_o occasion_n of_o draw_v thou_o to_o sin_n but_o thy_o sin_n be_v thy_o own_o act_n nay_o
