outward_a suffering_n and_o affliction_n keep_v we_o alive_a that_o we_o may_v not_o die_v of_o they_o yea_o so_o expelling_a the_o venom_n and_o poison_n of_o they_o and_o infuse_v virtue_n and_o vigour_n into_o we_o that_o we_o may_v be_v safe_a and_o find_v from_o they_o and_o live_v in_o a_o perfect_a life_n and_o walk_v in_o a_o perfect_a way_n and_o serve_v and_o honour_v he_o this_o grace_n may_v be_v somewhat_o illustrate_v by_o god_n deal_n of_o old_a with_o israel_n they_o be_v in_o a_o sore_a and_o heavy_a bondage_n in_o egypt_n god_n behold_v it_o come_v down_o and_o with_o various_a wonder_n wrought_v deliverance_n for_o they_o so_o as_o he_o bring_v they_o all_o out_o thence_o not_o one_o of_o they_o be_v leave_v behind_o and_o then_o also_o he_o become_v their_o perfect_a alsufficient_a merciful_a and_o faithful_a leader_n and_o bringer_n in_o in_o their_o follow_v after_o he_o into_o the_o land_n of_o canaan_n even_o so_o god_n see_v we_o mankind_n all_o in_o great_a misery_n and_o destruction_n under_o the_o power_n and_o tyranny_n of_o the_o devil_n and_o the_o first_o death_n and_o judgement_n which_o we_o fall_v into_o in_o and_o through_o adam_n come_v down_o in_o the_o person_n of_o the_o son_n and_o by_o more_o wonderful_a way_n of_o bear_v the_o judgement_n and_o curse_n of_o the_o law_n for_o we_o taste_v death_n for_o every_o man_n and_o give_v himself_o a_o ransom_n for_o all_o man_n have_v buy_v all_o man_n from_o under_o that_o misery_n the_o free_a gift_n be_v to_o all_o man_n through_o his_o righteousness_n to_o justification_n of_o life_n rom._n 5.18_o so_o as_o to_o justify_v they_o from_o that_o fault_n and_o condemnation_n so_o as_o they_o live_v now_o under_o the_o patience_n of_o god_n and_o merciful_a lordship_n of_o christ_n as_o lord_n of_o all_o through_o his_o say_a death_n and_o suffering_n who_o also_o offer_v to_o all_o man_n in_o the_o gospel_n a_o free_a justification_n of_o they_o from_o all_o their_o forepast_a sin_n in_o yield_v themselves_o up_o to_o his_o government_n so_o as_o they_o may_v live_v in_o his_o sight_n yea_o and_o now_o the_o same_o christ_n that_o die_v for_o all_o and_o every_o one_o and_o have_v so_o ransom_v we_o be_v become_v the_o leader_n and_o captain_n of_o our_o salvation_n call_v all_o man_n to_o look_v to_o and_o follow_v he_o isa_n 55.4_o heb._n 2.10_o with_o psal_n 50.1_o prov._n 1.20_o 23._o isa_n 45.22_o and_o he_o will_v save_v they_o in_o so_o do_v and_o every_o way_n secure_v they_o from_o perish_v and_o bring_v they_o into_o the_o possession_n of_o a_o heavenly_a canaan_n a_o everlasting_a and_o glorious_a kingdom_n for_o which_o guidance_n and_o conduct_n of_o we_o thereto_o he_o be_v every_o perfect_v and_o most_o glorious_o accomplish_v with_o power_n authority_n strength_n wisdom_n riches_n for_o supply_v of_o all_o want_v and_o be_v infinite_o merciful_a and_o gracious_a compassionate_a and_o faithful_a and_o will_v not_o fail_v or_o be_v discourage_v but_o will_v bring_v every_o faithful_a follower_n of_o he_o or_o believer_n on_o he_o to_o the_o enjoyment_n of_o his_o kingdom_n indeed_o as_o there_o god_n have_v save_v his_o people_n out_o of_o egypt_n afterward_o destroy_v those_o that_o believe_v not_o which_o also_o for_o our_o admonition_n the_o apostle_n judas_n will_v have_v we_o to_o remember_v though_o we_o have_v once_o know_v it_o but_o that_o be_v not_o through_o any_o defect_n or_o want_v of_o power_n pity_n or_o faithfulness_n in_o god_n towards_o they_o but_o through_o their_o unbelief_n not_o depend_v on_o he_o obey_v and_o follow_v he_o but_o stubborn_o rebel_a against_o he_o and_o provoke_v he_o to_o anger_v with_o their_o disobedience_n towards_o and_o withdrawing_n from_o he_o so_o also_o here_o though_o all_o man_n be_v ransom_v by_o christ_n from_o perish_v in_o the_o first_o death_n and_o condemnation_n that_o namely_o which_o pass_v upon_o all_o man_n in_o adam_n before_o any_o man_n be_v bear_v to_o he_o yet_o there_o will_v many_o perish_v in_o the_o second_o judgement_n that_o which_o shall_v be_v by_o christ_n after_o all_o be_v dead_a and_o raise_v again_o in_o the_o second_o death_n but_o that_o proceed_v not_o neither_o from_o want_n of_o power_n or_o pity_n fullness_n or_o faithfulness_n in_o christ_n but_o from_o the_o want_n of_o their_o compliance_n with_o his_o call_n and_o counsel_n to_o believe_v on_o and_o obey_v he_o as_o the_o scripture_n every_o where_o declare_v as_o be_v note_a before_o in_o use_n 7._o it_o be_v most_o sure_a that_o every_o one_o that_o will_v hearken_v to_o his_o voice_n and_o believe_v on_o he_o follow_v he_o shall_v have_v eternal_a life_n yea_o and_o though_o many_o sin_n and_o fail_n may_v be_v find_v with_o we_o in_o our_o hear_v and_o follow_v he_o as_o well_o as_o many_o stick_n and_o hang-back_n before_o our_o first_o yield_v to_o he_o to_o be_v follower_n of_o he_o as_o be_v also_o find_v in_o israel_n exod._n 5._o and_o 14._o yet_o as_o there_o be_v many_o sacrifice_n and_o a_o priesthood_n appoint_v to_o make_v atonement_n for_o their_o offence_n so_o as_o they_o be_v keep_v still_o in_o god_n favour_n and_o under_o his_o conduct_n to_o the_o land_n of_o promise_n not_o stubborn_o and_o persisting_o rebel_a against_o he_o so_o here_o also_o we_o have_v a_o far_o better_a priest_n and_o sacrifice_n great_a full_a and_o faithfull_a and_o of_o a_o eternal_a virtue_n and_o continuance_n to_o keep_v the_o follower_n after_o he_o from_o perish_v from_o god_n favour_n and_o for_o bring_v they_o to_o the_o enjoyment_n of_o eternal_a glory_n so_o that_o we_o may_v well_o say_v herein_o be_v manifest_v the_o love_n of_o god_n to_o we_o in_o that_o he_o send_v his_o only_o beget_v son_n into_o the_o world_n that_o we_o may_v live_v through_o he_o herein_o be_v love_n not_o that_o we_o love_v god_n but_o he_o love_v we_o and_o send_v his_o son_n to_o be_v the_o propitiation_n
