full_a demonstration_n of_o this_o proposition_n be_v one_o of_o the_o most_o considerable_a achievement_n to_o be_v undertake_v and_o manage_v in_o the_o second_o part_n of_o the_o work_n in_o hand_n severity_n in_o the_o new_a covenant_n the_o covenant_n of_o grace_n than_o he_o do_v in_o the_o first_o covenant_n which_o be_v a_o covenant_n of_o work_n the_o reason_n hereof_o be_v because_o in_o or_o under_o the_o covenant_n of_o work_n man_n be_v invest_v by_o god_n with_o sufficient_a mean_n for_o the_o performance_n of_o that_o covenant_n and_o so_o for_o the_o obtain_n of_o the_o great_a reward_n promise_v or_o covenant_v therein_o which_o be_v no_o less_o than_o eternal_a life_n though_o possible_o not_o a_o life_n so_o rich_a in_o blessedness_n as_o that_o covenant_v with_o man_n in_o the_o covenant_n of_o grace_n that_o all_o man_n without_o exception_n have_v a_o sufficiency_n of_o mean_n in_o adam_n to_o have_v persist_v in_o innocency_n and_o to_o perform_v all_o the_o article_n and_o term_n require_v of_o they_o in_o that_o covenant_n which_o be_v make_v with_o they_o in_o he_o be_v the_o sense_n of_o all_o man_n learn_v in_o the_o scripture_n as_o well_o modern_a as_o ancient_a that_o yet_o i_o have_v hear_v of_o nor_o will_v it_o i_o suppose_v be_v deny_v by_o our_o adversary_n themselves_o if_o it_o shall_v there_o be_v proof_n upon_o proof_n at_o hand_n to_o make_v it_o good_a but_o what_o need_v a_o levy_n of_o man_n to_o gain_v that_o by_o force_n which_o be_v voluntary_o offer_v now_o then_o it_o be_v far_o great_a rigour_n and_o severity_n to_o impose_v such_o term_n or_o condition_n upon_o a_o man_n in_o order_n to_o the_o save_n of_o his_o life_n or_o for_o the_o obtain_n of_o any_o desirable_a good_a which_o be_v of_o a_o impossible_a performance_n unto_o he_o then_o to_o impose_v only_o such_o which_o he_o have_v competent_a ability_n to_o perform_v evident_a it_o be_v that_o god_n must_v needs_o be_v more_o â—igorous_a and_o hard_a unto_o man_n in_o the_o covenant_n of_o grace_n make_v with_o they_o in_o and_o by_o christ_n than_o he_o be_v in_o the_o covenant_n of_o work_n make_v with_o they_o in_o adam_n in_o case_n it_o be_v suppose_v that_o he_o require_v unpossible_a condition_n of_o they_o in_o the_o former_a and_o only_o such_o which_o be_v possible_a in_o the_o latter_a but_o that_o god_n deal_v more_o gracious_o and_o bountiful_o with_o man_n in_o the_o second_o covenant_n make_v with_o they_o in_o christ_n than_o he_o do_v in_o the_o first_o which_o be_v make_v with_o they_o in_o adam_n be_v the_o pregnant_a result_n of_o all_o thing_n in_o a_o manner_n that_o god_n have_v speak_v unto_o the_o world_n by_o his_o son_n in_o the_o gospel_n nor_o can_v our_o adversary_n themselves_o deny_v it_o without_o the_o loud_a reclamation_n of_o evidence_n and_o truth_n to_o pretend_v that_o god_n deal_v more_o gracious_o and_o bountiful_o with_o his_o elect_n in_o the_o covenant_n of_o grace_n than_o he_o do_v in_o the_o covenant_n of_o work_n but_o not_o with_o the_o generality_n of_o man_n be_v but_o a_o slim_v evasion_n and_o suppose_v either_o that_o the_o covenant_n of_o grace_n be_v not_o make_v with_o the_o generality_n of_o man_n which_o be_v a_o notorious_a untruth_n and_o have_v be_v detect_v
