worship_n or_o to_o receive_v the_o lord_n supper_n upon_o our_o knee_n as_o a_o external_a expression_n of_o devotion_n not_o as_o meritorious_a superstition_n the_o ceremony_n of_o our_o church_n have_v be_v often_o declaim_v against_o under_o the_o notion_n of_o the_o doctrine_n and_o tradition_n of_o man_n but_o it_o be_v plain_a that_o neither_o our_o saviour_n nor_o st._n paul_n mean_v and_o then_o i_o doubt_v they_o can_v be_v very_o good_a christian_n when_o they_o forsake_v it_o for_o nothing_o but_o a_o apparent_a and_o manifest_a danger_n of_o sin_n can_v justify_v such_o a_o separation_n 2._o but_o let_v we_o now_o further_o consider_v how_o the_o worship_n of_o our_o church_n be_v justify_v by_o the_o principle_n of_o christianity_n we_o do_v not_o pretend_v that_o the_o most_o visible_a external_a symbol_n of_o our_o communion_n with_o christ_n and_o institute_v as_o a_o sacrament_n of_o union_n for_o the_o conveyance_n of_o all_o divine_a and_o spiritual_a blessing_n to_o we_o and_o for_o the_o explication_n of_o this_o i_o shall_v observe_v two_o thing_n in_o this_o holy_a feast_n 1._o that_o it_o be_v our_o eat_n at_o the_o table_n of_o our_o lord_n
