in_o heb._n 8._o because_o they_o be_v make_v indefinite_o without_o condition_n conditional_a promise_n you_o say_v you_o can_v if_o you_o can_v find_v the_o qualification_n that_o give_v you_o right_a to_o the_o good_a of_o the_o promise_n within_o you_o this_o useful_a fruitful_a question_n answ._n how_o to_o apply_v absolute_a promise_n to_o one_o particular_a deserve_v a_o large_a time_n in_o suspense_n and_o therefore_o when_o they_o complain_v of_o the_o vileness_n of_o their_o heart_n and_o strength_n of_o their_o lust_n let_v any_o man_n tell_v they_o that_o the_o lord_n have_v undertake_v in_o the_o second_o covenant_n to_o heal_v their_o backslide_n and_o to_o subdue_v their_o iniquity_n they_o will_v hereupon_o reply_v it_o be_v true_a he_o have_v promise_v indeed_o to_o do_v thus_o for_o some_o absolute_o though_o they_o have_v no_o good_a in_o they_o but_o i_o that_o feel_v so_o vile_a a_o heart_n so_o rebellious_a a_o nature_n will_v he_o do_v this_o for_o i_o or_o must_v believe_v and_o make_v a_o long_a arm_n to_o heaven_n and_o apprehend_v the_o lord_n jesus_n which_o so_o few_o know_v or_o ever_o shall_v enjoy_v and_o hereby_o quench_v the_o wrath_n of_o upon_o they_o for_o some_o that_o be_v hard-hearted_a for_o why_o shall_v he_o promise_v to_o take_v away_o the_o stony_a heart_n from_o they_o etc._n etc._n and_o if_o unto_o some_o such_o and_o i_o will_v not_o through_o grace_n find_v such_o thought_n haunt_v you_o long_o not_o but_o that_o they_o will_v be_v haply_o rise_v and_o tempt_v but_o never_o allway_o vex_v and_o prevail_v satan_n ground_n reach_v as_o far_o as_o the_o mind_n of_o god_n people_n answ._n and_o therefore_o so_o far_o he_o may_v come_v and_o there_o he_o may_v walk_v for_o the_o come_v into_o the_o mind_n of_o as_o son_n be_v take_v for_o the_o father_n nor_o the_o holy_a ghost_n as_o holy_a ghost_n be_v at_o any_o time_n take_v for_o the_o son_n for_o it_o be_v a_o rule_n in_o theology_n though_o the_o primary_o the_o wrong_a that_o sin_n do_v against_o his_o work_n of_o creation_n for_o the_o father_n be_v the_o first_o person_n in_o order_n and_o creation_n the_o first_o transient_a act_n as_o election_n and_o reprobation_n be_v the_o first_o immanent_a hence_o this_o work_n be_v attribute_v chief_o to_o god_n the_o father_n in_o respect_n of_o our_o orderly_a apprehension_n and_o hence_o apprehension_n the_o person_n wrong_v and_o hence_o we_o be_v after_o sin_n commit_v chief_o to_o eye_n the_o father_n in_o our_o prayer_n and_o to_o go_v to_o he_o for_o pardon_n with_o our_o advocate_n with_o we_o because_o to_o who_o offence_n be_v chief_o offer_v from_o â—im_n chief_o pardon_v and_o reconciliation_n be_v to_o be_v expect_v 2._o therefore_o christ_n address_v himself_o chief_o in_o his_o prayer_n to_o god_n the_o father_n because_o he_o be_v the_o original_a and_o first_o cause_n of_o all_o good_a because_o he_o be_v the_o first_o person_n in_o order_n of_o subsist_v and_o therefore_o first_o too_o in_o the_o manner_n of_o convey_v i_o know_v the_o godhead_n be_v the_o original_a of_o all_o good_a but_o consider_v the_o person_n one_o with_o another_o never_o well_o but_o when_o he_o consider_v his_o dead_a blind_a barren_a and_o senseless_a heart_n that_o he_o be_v to_o carry_v to_o the_o duty_n and_o that_o he_o fear_v and_o have_v feel_v will_v abide_v with_o he_o in_o the_o duty_n oh_a this_o grieve_v here_o the_o soul_n pinch_v a_o hypocrite_n be_v weary_a of_o the_o duty_n a_o child_n of_o god_n rejoice_v in_o it_o but_o he_o be_v weary_a of_o his_o sin_n and_o unsavouriness_n and_o weariness_n in_o the_o duty_n i_o persuade_v myself_o sir_n that_o you_o may_v soon_o mistake_v your_o spirit_n herein_o you_o think_v you_o be_v unwilling_a to_o come_v to_o the_o duty_n and_o be_v weary_a of_o it_o when_o indeed_o it_o be_v your_o glory_n joy_n and_o love_n but_o it_o be_v because_o you_o fear_v you_o can_v do_v it_o no_o better_o that_o trouble_v you_o that_o you_o have_v such_o a_o vile_a heart_n in_o it_o and_o if_o your_o trouble_n be_v from_o hence_o the_o good_a lord_n increase_v it_o in_o you_o daily_o and_o withal_o bless_v the_o lord_n and_o say_v lord_n though_o i_o be_o weary_a of_o my_o vile_a heart_n in_o these_o day_n of_o humiliation_n in_o these_o sabbath_n yet_o i_o bless_v thou_o the_o day_n less_o as_o long_o as_o you_o live_v it_o be_v part_n of_o paul_n body_n of_o death_n which_o he_o must_v carry_v with_o he_o till_o he_o come_v to_o bury_v himself_o 3._o those_o mean_n which_o may_v help_v you_o to_o be_v free_v from_o they_o a_o little_a at_o least_o be_v these_o among_o many_o 1._o be_v but_o true_o and_o real_o not_o by_o fit_n and_o dark_o sensible_a of_o they_o man_n in_o deep_a misery_n be_v not_o unwilling_a to_o be_v help_v out_o 2._o judge_v you_o not_o rigorous_o of_o god_n although_o he_o weâ—e_n a_o bloody_a austere_a god_n as_o he_o do_v of_o his_o master_n who_o talon_n he_o have_v and_o hence_o never_o improve_v it_o but_o look_v upon_o god_n as_o have_v a_o father_n heart_n and_o affection_n towards_o you_o in_o the_o mean_a and_o great_a performance_n which_o be_v double_a either_o to_o give_v you_o strength_n to_o do_v what_o you_o can_v i_o can_v do_v all_o thing_n through_o christ_n or_o have_v come_v to_o he_o for_o it_o to_o accept_v of_o what_o you_o will_v do_v for_o he_o as_o if_o it_o be_v do_v and_o this_o will_v make_v you_o joy_n in_o the_o poor_a performance_n that_o though_o it_o be_v never_o so_o full_a of_o
