they_o be_v make_v and_o constitute_v as_o by_o the_o disobedience_n of_o the_o first_o man_n so_o by_o the_o just_a judgement_n of_o god_n upon_o that_o disobedience_n if_o the_o sinfulness_n of_o nature_n be_v not_o by_o the_o fall_n it_o must_v come_v by_o creation_n or_o some_o other_o reason_n must_v necessary_o be_v assign_v to_o make_v all_o man_n so_o unanimous_a and_o universal_a in_o matter_n of_o sin_v last_o the_o apostle_n draw_v a_o parallel_n between_o both_o the_o adam_n as_o by_o the_o disobedience_n of_o one_o many_o be_v make_v sinner_n so_o by_o the_o obedience_n of_o one_o many_o shall_v be_v make_v righteous_a now_o it_o be_v evident_a none_o be_v make_v righteous_a by_o imputation_n in_o the_o ordinary_a way_n but_o they_o do_v in_o some_o measure_n or_o other_o partake_v of_o the_o life_n and_o spiritual_a nature_n of_o christ_n as_o the_o seccond_a adam_n therefore_o we_o say_v on_o the_o contrary_a part_n there_o be_v none_o that_o have_v the_o guilt_n say_v if_o it_o may_v be_v possible_a to_o take_v this_o scripture_n out_o of_o our_o hand_n now_o he_o come_v to_o form_v the_o state_n of_o the_o question_n to_o show_v how_o far_o he_o allow_v original_a sin_n and_o where_o he_o differ_v from_o we_o because_o this_o be_v the_o foot_n of_o the_o work_n let_v he_o deliver_v himself_o in_o his_o own_o word_n adam_n sin_n say_v he_o be_v punish_v by_o a_o expulsion_n out_o of_o paradise_n in_o which_o be_v a_o tree_n appoint_v to_o be_v the_o cure_n of_o disease_n and_o the_o conservatory_n of_o life_n there_o be_v no_o more_o tell_v or_o nest_n of_o sin_n imprint_v and_o place_v in_o our_o soul_n a_o loss_n of_o our_o will_n liberty_n and_o nothing_o else_o leave_v but_o a_o liberty_n to_o sin_n which_o liberty_n upon_o the_o sum_n of_o affair_n be_v expound_v a_o necessity_n to_o sin_n and_o the_o effect_n of_o all_o be_v we_o be_v bear_v heir_n of_o damnation_n these_o be_v the_o particular_n which_o he_o except_v he_o it_o be_v likely_a that_o he_o will_v not_o so_o cheap_o have_v sell_v himself_o and_o all_o his_o hope_n out_o of_o a_o greedy_a appetite_n to_o get_v some_o knowledge_n answ_n the_o apostle_n st._n judas_n tell_v we_o the_o angel_n that_o leave_v their_o first_o habitation_n be_v keep_v in_o chain_n of_o darkness_n to_o the_o judgement_n of_o the_o great_a day_n v._o 6._o shall_v we_o say_v then_o because_o they_o do_v so_o cheap_o leave_v their_o first_o habitation_n be_v there_o no_o such_o dignity_n or_o excellency_n in_o it_o the_o way_n of_o reason_v be_v one_o and_o the_o same_o in_o substance_n he_o go_v on_o the_o state_n of_o ignorance_n we_o do_v derive_v from_o adam_n as_o we_o do_v our_o nature_n which_o be_v a_o state_n of_o ignorance_n and_o all_o manner_n of_o imperfection_n but_o whether_o it_o be_v not_o imperfect_a and_o apt_a to_o fall_v into_o forbid_a instance_n we_o may_v best_o guess_v it_o by_o the_o event_n answ_n we_o may_v guess_v by_o the_o event_n that_o he_o be_v make_v in_o a_o state_n from_o which_o he_o may_v fall_v but_o this_o do_v no_o way_n hinder_v his_o be_v a_o spiritual_a man_n or_o that_o endowment_n of_o spiritual_a knowledge_n which_o he_o have_v before_o his_o fall_n first_o by_o his_o fall_n he_o do_v lose_v in_o his_o judgement_n he_o and_o all_o mankind_n do_v fall_v from_o faith_n to_o unbelief_n and_o hence_o it_o be_v that_o ever_o since_o for_o happiness_n all_o man_n rely_v upon_o their_o own_o wit_n learning_n beauty_n strength_n friend_n riches_n nobility_n etc._n etc._n this_o plain_o show_v that_o adam_n at_o the_o first_o be_v make_v in_o a_o state_n of_o dependence_n upon_o the_o true_a god_n which_o can_v not_o be_v but_o he_o must_v be_v endue_v with_o a_o great_a measure_n of_o spiritual_a knowledge_n and_o in_o his_o judgement_n at_o least_o he_o must_v discern_v that_o excellency_n that_o be_v in_o god_n further_n the_o apostle_n speak_v you_o have_v put_v on_o the_o new_a man_n which_o be_v renew_v in_o knowledge_n after_o the_o image_n of_o he_o that_o create_v he_o col._n 3.10_o by_o knowledge_n he_o do_v not_o point_n so_o much_o to_o that_o which_o be_v literal_a
