a_o prosperous_a and_o flourish_a estate_n etc._n etc._n well_o among_o many_o other_o thing_n that_o may_v be_v answer_v there_o be_v a_o day_n wherein_o he_o will_v judge_v they_o though_o now_o sometime_o the_o lord_n defer_v their_o punishment_n yet_o he_o be_v not_o unjust_a as_o one_o say_v well_o that_o that_o be_v defer_v be_v not_o take_v away_o forbearance_n be_v no_o quittance_n god_n will_v just_o reward_v both_o the_o good_a and_o wicked_a in_o a_o fit_a opportunity_n quest_n why_o do_v he_o defer_v the_o punishment_n of_o the_o wicked_a answ_n because_o by_o this_o mean_v he_o will_v draw_v they_o to_o goodness_n or_o make_v his_o forbearance_n a_o great_a mean_n of_o their_o condemnation_n and_o so_o he_o defer_v to_o recompense_v his_o own_o because_o he_o will_v try_v their_o faith_n and_o constancy_n and_o goodness_n so_o that_o by_o this_o mean_v they_o be_v more_o establish_v in_o goodness_n whereas_o other_o man_n perish_v ease_n slay_v the_o foolish_a there_o be_v many_o secret_a sin_n that_o lie_v in_o good_a man_n that_o god_n oftentimes_o by_o these_o mean_n make_v they_o to_o find_v out_o of_o the_o wicked_a say_v saint_n austin_n some_o be_v punish_v in_o this_o life_n and_o that_o but_o a_o few_o because_o he_o reserve_v they_o for_o a_o eternal_a punishment_n so_o than_o it_o be_v manifest_a there_o must_v be_v a_o day_n wherein_o god_n will_v judge_v the_o world_n and_o though_o the_o lord_n spare_v the_o wicked_a it_o be_v no_o good_a to_o they_o nor_o mercy_n and_o it_o be_v not_o against_o justice_n to_o spare_v they_o that_o he_o may_v when_o he_o come_v make_v his_o justice_n more_o apparent_a afterward_o so_o that_o there_o must_v needs_o be_v a_o judgement_n to_o come_v use_v 3_o be_v god_n just_a this_o be_v to_o awaken_v the_o secure_a and_o drowsy_a professor_n and_o also_o the_o careful_a christian_a though_o he_o must_v go_v through_o evil_a reproof_n and_o slander_n yet_o god_n be_v just_a howsoever_o he_o can_v call_v for_o nothing_o at_o his_o justice_n by_o merit_n &_o desert_n yet_o by_o promise_n he_o may_v let_v he_o lay_v hold_n upon_o the_o promise_n and_o they_o shall_v stay_v and_o strengthen_v his_o heart_n on_o the_o other_o side_n justice_n shall_v make_v all_o carnal_a man_n to_o remember_v that_o they_o must_v come_v to_o give_v a_o account_n god_n shall_v be_v unjust_a if_o he_o shall_v not_o recompense_v the_o way_n and_o work_n of_o every_o man_n therefore_o these_o man_n shall_v be_v awaken_v out_o of_o that_o security_n wherein_o they_o be_v do_v not_o thou_o grow_v secure_a nor_o justice_n without_o mercy_n lest_o thou_o despair_v keep_v both_o these_o together_o and_o they_o shall_v keep_v thou_o in_o the_o fear_n and_o love_n of_o god_n we_o conclude_v what_o follow_v after_o god_n be_v just_a and_o the_o wage_n of_o sin_n be_v death_n it_o will_v be_v bitterness_n in_o the_o end_n let_v we_o not_o be_v discourage_v from_o the_o way_n of_o god_n from_o proceed_v on_o in_o goodness_n let_v we_o withstand_v the_o provocation_n of_o sin_n then_o shall_v we_o have_v peace_n here_o and_o hereafter_o the_o benefit_n of_o the_o justice_n of_o god_n i_o say_v it_o be_v a_o passion_n natural_o inflame_v the_o blood_n with_o desire_n of_o revenge_n and_o cause_v a_o man_n to_o go_v out_o of_o himself_o in_o which_o respect_n it_o can_v be_v no_o way_n give_v to_o god_n because_o he_o be_v so_o simple_a pure_a that_o no_o impurity_n can_v be_v give_v to_o he_o now_o this_o proceed_v from_o the_o sensual_a part_n and_o so_o it_o be_v both_o in_o man_n and_o beast_n and_o can_v be_v attribute_v to_o god_n second_o as_o it_o proceed_v from_o man_n will_n join_v with_o detestation_n of_o evil_a and_o desire_v to_o punish_v evil_a so_o it_o may_v be_v attribute_v to_o god_n and_o of_o this_o the_o prophet_n speak_v in_o this_o place_n behold_v thou_o be_v angry_a for_o we_o have_v sin_v i_o say_v that_o god_n be_v angry_a with_o sin_n it_o be_v in_o this_o place_n manifest_a that_o all_o god_n anger_n be_v against_o sin_n so_o rom._n 1.18_o the_o wrath_n of_o god_n be_v reveal_v from_o heaven_n against_o all_o ungodliness_n etc._n etc._n where_o we_o see_v that_o god_n be_v angry_a with_o sin_n and_o the_o apostle_n paul_n col._n 3.5_o recount_v up_o several_a sin_n as_o fornication_n wantonness_n covetousness_n etc._n etc._n and_o for_o such_o sin_n the_o wrath_n of_o god_n come_v upon_o the_o child_n of_o disobedience_n and_o in_o the_o 5._o ephe._n when_o he_o have_v reckon_v up_o divers_a sin_n in_o the_o 6._o verse_n he_o come_v and_o say_v let_v no_o man_n deceive_v you_o with_o vain_a word_n for_o these_o thing_n the_o wrath_n of_o god_n come_v upon_o the_o child_n of_o disobedience_n the_o next_o thing_n be_v this_o whereby_o he_o be_v angry_a with_o his_o creature_n just_o willing_a and_o decree_a punishment_n it_o be_v just_a if_o he_o will_v it_o because_o his_o will_n be_v the_o rule_n of_o justice_n be_v take_v he_o be_v a_o god_n of_o anger_n keep_v wrath_n for_o his_o adversary_n the_o next_o we_o say_v he_o do_v not_o only_a decree_n but_o denounce_v judgement_n &_o so_o anger_v in_o the_o
