counterfeit_a true_a and_o fervent_a faithful_a and_o feel_a prayer_n will_v easy_o be_v disern_v from_o cold_a and_o counterfeit_n for_o whereas_o a_o man_n may_v fluent_o without_o stop_n or_o happiness_n desire_n and_o seek_v thing_n not_o only_o not_o best_o but_o mere_o hurtful_a thing_n subject_a â—o_o the_o outward_a sense_n which_o be_v often_o deceive_v take_v that_o for_o best_a that_o be_v to_o be_v abandon_v and_o reject_v that_o which_o be_v to_o be_v chief_o embrace_v as_o true_a happiness_n the_o best_a thing_n be_v such_o as_o the_o eye_n see_v not_o the_o mouth_n taste_v not_o the_o hand_n hâ—ndle_v not_o neither_o be_v they_o subject_a to_o nature_n understanding_n for_o the_o thing_n we_o see_v touch_n or_o taste_v have_v neither_o true_a goodness_n such_o as_o to_o give_v a_o man_n best_o content_n nor_o continuance_n to_o tarry_v with_o they_o and_o therefore_o be_v but_o shadow_n of_o seem_a happiness_n which_o by_o experience_n be_v find_v fickle_a and_o vanish_v beauty_n health_n of_o the_o body_n riches_n honour_n high_a office_n long_a life_n delight_n &_o carnal_a pleasure_n humane_a wisdom_n and_o natural_a literature_n be_v thing_n much_o esteem_v but_o what_o happiness_n be_v there_o in_o any_o of_o these_o beauty_n decay_v health_n impayr_v riches_n vanish_v honour_n be_v envy_v office_n dangerous_a long_a life_n a_o burden_n humane_a wisdom_n foolishness_n natural_a learning_n a_o puff_n of_o vain_a glory_n we_o may_v therefore_o conclude_v that_o if_o a_o man_n have_v all_o the_o former_a seem_a contentment_n yet_o may_v he_o not_o be_v happy_a for_o every_o of_o they_o draw_v with_o it_o as_o many_o disaster_n as_o variable_a accident_n &_o as_o many_o peevish_a passion_n of_o the_o mind_n which_o draw_v he_o into_o as_o many_o calamity_n and_o misery_n and_o therefore_o do_v no_o true_o wise_a man_n think_v that_o these_o be_v worthy_a the_o name_n of_o happiness_n for_o than_o have_v many_o heathen_n attain_v unto_o that_o best_a but_o true_a happiness_n consist_v only_o in_o the_o enjoy_n of_o god_n grace_n and_o spiritual_a blessing_n which_o carnal_a man_n who_o enjoy_v only_o the_o former_a have_v not_o but_o be_v possess_v with_o a_o erroneous_a opinion_n of_o those_o thing_n which_o seem_v best_a rather_o by_o a_o implicit_a conceit_n follow_v and_o allow_a that_o for_o happiness_n which_o the_o most_o hold_v so_o and_o to_o attain_v the_o same_o they_o use_v all_o mean_n labour_n and_o endless_a travail_n to_o get_v that_o which_o indeed_o be_v not_o of_o the_o world_n to_o be_v
or_o his_o prayer_n sake_n but_o for_o thy_o best_a belove_a soâ—nes_n sake_n and_o such_o only_a prayer_n as_o proceed_v from_o thy_o own_o spirit_n fulfil_v therefore_o good_a father_n all_o my_o godly_a desire_n through_o christ_n jesus_n amen_n let_v we_o pray_v that_o we_o may_v pray_v a_o prayer_n to_o god_n for_o the_o help_n of_o his_o holy_a spirit_n and_o other_o blessing_n spiritual_a prayer_n rather_o to_o the_o obtain_n of_o carnal_a then_o spiritual_a and_o heavenly_a riches_n and_o find_v they_o not_o because_o thou_o see_v the_o grant_n of_o they_o rather_o hurtful_a then_o profitable_a unto_o i_o send_v therefore_o dear_a father_n send_v down_o thy_o holy_a spirit_n who_o only_o know_v how_o and_o for_o what_o to_o pray_v though_o i_o be_v ignorant_a of_o he_o know_v his_o rest_n without_o recommend_v himself_o to_o god_n his_o body_n his_o soul_n and_o all_o that_o he_o possess_v for_o it_o be_v he_o only_a that_o keep_v israel_n namely_o all_o that_o fear_v he_o
