though_o it_o be_v to_o the_o part_n with_o our_o substance_n yea_o our_o first_o bear_v and_o all_o yea_o which_o be_v the_o height_n of_o this_o delusion_n shall_v not_o a_o great_a sin_n be_v make_v a_o price_n for_o the_o less_o shall_v not_o the_o murder_n of_o prince_n become_v a_o expiation_n for_o all_o our_o personal_a sin_n behold_v here_o the_o depth_n of_o the_o mystery_n of_o iniquity_n and_o admire_v with_o i_o the_o justice_n of_o god_n in_o take_v the_o whore_n and_o her_o accurse_a brood_n in_o their_o own_o craftiness_n that_o while_o they_o esteem_v their_o own_o blood_n vile_a that_o they_o may_v murder_v the_o lord_n anoint_v they_o have_v just_o bring_v the_o king_n of_o the_o earth_n upon_o their_o head_n to_o secure_v themselves_o in_o subvert_v antichrist_n who_o otherwise_o they_o can_v have_v be_v content_v still_o to_o have_v make_v their_o band_n for_o the_o satisfy_n of_o their_o lust_n oh_o the_o unsearchable_a riches_n of_o the_o wisdom_n and_o mercy_n of_o our_o god_n who_o turn_v about_o the_o carnal_a wisdom_n of_o man_n tend_v only_o to_o it_o present_v bodily_a good_a to_o be_v mean_n of_o remove_v that_o great_a stumble_a block_n whereby_o their_o soul_n be_v ensnare_v that_o so_o they_o may_v ascribe_v unto_o he_o alone_o the_o glory_n of_o their_o true_a happiness_n so_o far_o above_o and_o contrary_a to_o god_n very_o remarkable_a in_o these_o dangerous_a day_n of_o the_o contempt_n and_o pervert_v of_o the_o word_n of_o god_n that_o though_o the_o lord_n feed_v the_o hungry_a with_o good_a and_o wholesome_a food_n yet_o the_o dainty_a and_o full_a stomach_n be_v either_o choke_v with_o chaff_n or_o puff_v up_o with_o wind_n that_o so_o seem_v that_o which_o he_o be_v not_o he_o may_v not_o see_v what_o true_o he_o be_v and_o thereby_o be_v both_o prevent_v of_o sound_a cure_n and_o withal_o harden_v to_o destruction_n behold_v here_o then_o some_o further_a light_n to_o justify_v the_o providence_n of_o god_n in_o the_o overflow_a of_o sin_n amid_o so_o glorious_a light_n of_o the_o gospel_n not_o that_o the_o word_n be_v any_o true_a cause_n thereof_o but_o only_o a_o mean_n to_o this_o in_o great_a justice_n and_o exceed_a equity_n the_o lord_n herein_o give_v the_o wicked_a their_o desire_n for_o the_o accomplishment_n of_o his_o righteous_a decree_n in_o their_o condemnation_n in_o that_o themselves_o be_v their_o own_o carver_n in_o the_o mean_n there_o unto_o and_o all_o this_o execute_v by_o his_o mighty_a word_n become_v thus_o unto_o the_o wicked_a a_o savour_n of_o death_n unto_o death_n whereby_o as_o he_o take_v the_o wise_a papist_n and_o atheist_n in_o their_o craftiness_n so_o do_v he_o also_o just_o confound_v the_o profane_a libertine_n 3_o that_o whereas_o the_o weapon_n of_o popish_a warfare_n be_v only_o carnal_a and_o devilish_a use_v these_o as_o her_o last_o refuge_n when_o her_o paper_n bolt_n and_o enchantment_n will_v not_o prevail_v to_o root_v out_o and_o destroy_v all_o her_o opposite_n as_o be_v that_o scarlet-coloured_n whore_n who_o nothing_o will_v secure_v and_o satisfy_v but_o the_o blood_n of_o saint_n and_o all_o such_o as_o shall_v oppose_v her_o tyranny_n therefore_o howsoever_o all_o other_o sin_n be_v harbour_v in_o her_o bosom_n as_o be_v ashamed_a to_o have_v they_o know_v to_o the_o world_n yet_o murder_n as_o may_v prevent_v the_o same_o the_o principal_a whereof_o be_v to_o maintain_v peace_n with_o our_o god_n because_o if_o our_o way_n do_v please_v he_o he_o will_v not_o only_o god_n make_v our_o enemy_n to_o be_v at_o peace_n with_o we_o that_o we_o may_v not_o fear_v to_o be_v provoke_v either_o by_o bridle_v their_o corruption_n as_o he_o do_v sometime_o laban_n &_o esau_n or_o turn_v their_o heart_n towards_o we_o as_o he_o have_v do_v the_o heart_n of_o many_o persecutor_n but_o will_v also_o incline_v our_o heart_n to_o be_v at_o peace_n with_o our_o enemy_n either_o by_o give_v we_o wisdom_n to_o overcome_v their_o evil_n with_o good_a or_o afford_v we_o patience_n to_o bear_v with_o our_o enemy_n or_o sustain_v we_o with_o meekness_n neither_o to_o provoke_v nor_o be_v provoke_v by_o they_o now_o we_o shall_v wise_o maintain_v peace_n with_o god_n how_o 1_o if_o we_o walk_v close_o with_o he_o according_a to_o his_o will_n with_o all_o power_n and_o diligence_n not_o lean_v to_o our_o own_o wisdom_n but_o rely_v on_o his_o reveal_v word_n and_o not_o presume_v of_o aught_o either_o beyond_o or_o short_a thereof_o 2_o if_o though_o we_o fail_v and_o slip_v corruption_n and_o maintain_v the_o spiritual_a combat_n hereby_o we_o may_v preserve_v our_o peace_n with_o god_n 3_o if_o see_v our_o best_a work_n be_v mix_v with_o such_o corruption_n that_o if_o the_o lord_n shall_v be_v severe_a to_o mark_v what_o be_v do_v amiss_o even_o when_o we_o do_v our_o best_a we_o shall_v never_o be_v able_a to_o abide_v it_o we_o shall_v therefore_o daily_o deny_v our_o best_a righteousness_n and_o labour_n to_o be_v find_v in_o christ_n renew_v our_o right_n in_o he_o hereby_o we_o shall_v renew_v and_o maintain_v our_o peace_n with_o god_n 4_o and_o yet_o see_v the_o grace_n of_o god_n shall_v be_v sufficient_a for_o we_o in_o what_o soever_o want_v or_o extremity_n may_v befall_v if_o now_o we_o can_v in_o patience_n possess_v our_o soul_n not_o
