in_o respect_n that_o in_o the_o necessary_a consequence_n thereof_o by_o reason_n of_o our_o inability_n to_o fulfil_v the_o same_o it_o become_v such_o unto_o we_o and_o therefore_o if_o that_o the_o condition_n of_o the_o new_a covenant_n be_v no_o more_o performable_a than_o those_o of_o the_o law_n the_o gospel_n can_v not_o be_v call_v the_o ministration_n of_o righteousness_n and_o life_n any_o more_o than_o the_o law_n because_o it_o be_v the_o savour_n of_o death_n unto_o death_n unto_o all_o those_o that_o disobey_v it_o as_o well_o as_o the_o law_n john_n 3.19_o hebr._n 10.28_o 29._o and_o confer_v neither_o righteousness_n nor_o life_n unto_o any_o that_o observe_v it_o not_o any_o more_o than_o the_o law_n therefore_o whereas_o it_o be_v call_v the_o ministration_n of_o righteousness_n and_o life_n in_o opposition_n to_o the_o law_n it_o must_v needs_o be_v understand_v in_o this_o respect_n that_o righteousness_n life_n and_o salvation_n impossible_a by_o the_o law_n may_v be_v obtain_v by_o it_o 4._o the_o same_o apostle_n likewise_o discourse_v of_o the_o two_o covenant_n in_o the_o nine_o and_o ten_o chapter_n of_o the_o roman_n and_o have_v in_o the_o 32_o verse_n of_o the_o 9_o chapter_n after_o a_o large_a discourse_n concern_v the_o same_o conclude_v righteousness_n not_o to_o be_v attainable_a by_o the_o law_n in_o the_o 8_o verse_n of_o the_o 10._o chapter_n he_o declare_v that_o the_o righteousness_n that_o be_v by_o the_o gospel_n be_v nigh_o unto_o we_o even_o in_o our_o mouth_n and_o in_o our_o heart_n than_o which_o nothing_o can_v be_v more_o near_o unto_o we_o and_o in_o deut._n 30.11_o 12_o 13_o 14._o whereunto_o he_o have_v allusion_n to_o prevent_v all_o objection_n concern_v this_o thing_n moses_n thus_o speak_v the_o commandment_n that_o i_o command_v thou_o this_o day_n it_o be_v not_o hide_v from_o thou_o neither_o be_v it_o far_o off_o it_o be_v not_o in_o heaven_n that_o thou_o shall_v say_v who_o shall_v go_v up_o for_o we_o to_o heaven_n and_o bring_v it_o unto_o we_o that_o we_o may_v hear_v it_o and_o do_v it_o neither_o be_v it_o beyond_o the_o sea_n that_o thou_o shall_v say_v who_o shall_v go_v
