which_o be_v natural_o productive_a of_o that_o repentance_n which_o be_v never_o to_o be_v repent_v of_o and_o that_o reformation_n of_o life_n which_o if_o persevere_v in_o to_o the_o end_n will_v entitle_v they_o to_o a_o far_o more_o exceed_a weight_n of_o glory_n and_o when_o these_o motion_n begin_v to_o work_v in_o they_o it_o be_v their_o duty_n and_o it_o be_v their_o interest_n to_o pray_v to_o god_n for_o that_o spirit_n that_o may_v further_o convince_v they_o of_o sin_n and_o of_o righteousness_n and_o of_o judgement_n and_o our_o heavenly_a father_n have_v promise_v that_o he_o will_v not_o deny_v his_o spirit_n to_o they_o that_o ask_v it_o and_o if_o they_o lack_v wisdom_n to_o direct_v they_o in_o that_o way_n with_o which_o as_o yet_o they_o be_v very_o much_o unacquainted_a let_v they_o ask_v of_o god_n who_o give_v to_o all_o man_n liberal_o and_o upbraid_v not_o and_o it_o shall_v be_v give_v they_o and_o because_o that_o of_o themselves_o as_o of_o themselves_o they_o be_v they_o be_v not_o sufficient_a to_o think_v any_o thing_n that_o be_v good_a much_o less_o to_o do_v it_o and_o much_o less_o still_o to_o preserve_v in_o do_v let_v they_o implore_v the_o grace_n of_o god_n which_o be_v ready_a at_o hand_n to_o all_o those_o that_o by_o faith_n and_o prayer_n and_o sincere_a endeavour_n seek_v after_o it_o let_v they_o ask_v and_o it_o shall_v be_v give_v let_v they_o seek_v and_o they_o shall_v find_v let_v they_o knock_v and_o god_n will_v open_v to_o they_o let_v they_o draw_v nigh_o to_o god_n in_o sincere_a purpose_n of_o repentance_n and_o he_o will_v draw_v nigh_o to_o they_o in_o his_o grace_n and_o mercy_n and_o will_v enable_v they_o to_o cleanse_v their_o hand_n though_o they_o have_v be_v sinner_n and_o to_o purify_v their_o heart_n though_o they_o have_v be_v double_o mind_v and_o to_o assist_v they_o in_o such_o supplication_n as_o these_o i_o have_v here_o subjoin_v this_o ensue_a prayer_n a_o prayer_n not_o discover_v they_o and_o therefore_o the_o justice_n of_o man_n can_v punish_v they_o but_o god_n search_v the_o heart_n and_o try_v the_o reins_o and_o he_o will_v judge_v the_o secret_n of_o time_n more_o proper_a than_o this_o wherein_o they_o be_v to_o pass_v to_o that_o temporal_a judgement_n which_o bear_v some_o faint_a resemblance_n with_o the_o eternal_a now_o it_o be_v a_o those_o that_o be_v in_o bridewell_n unless_o in_o the_o duration_n of_o their_o evil_n for_o when_o they_o be_v set_v down_o upon_o the_o place_n of_o their_o banishment_n they_o be_v deliver_v to_o a_o sevenyear_n bondage_n engage_v in_o hard_a labour_n expose_v to_o great_a drudgery_n and_o treat_v with_o very_a much_o scorn_n and_o contempt_n and_o insolence_n and_o usual_o the_o reason_n in_o so_o much_o hardship_n and_o misery_n and_o then_o to_o turn_v the_o expostulation_n of_o the_o apostle_n rom._n 2._o 4_o 5_o 6_o 7_o 8_o 9_o into_o a_o exhortation_n to_o themselves_o and_o that_o they_o will_v not_o despise_v the_o riches_n of_o god_n goodness_n and_o forbearance_n and_o long_o suffer_v which_o ought_v to_o lead_v they_o to_o repentance_n neither_o treasure_n up_o to_o themselves_o
