this_o to_o repair_v the_o image_n of_o god_n upon_o the_o soul_n and_o to_o set_v the_o heart_n upon_o god_n again_o and_o take_v it_o off_o the_o creature_n and_o carnal_a self_n to_o which_o it_o be_v revolt_v and_o so_o to_o turn_v the_o current_n of_o the_o life_n into_o a_o heavenly_a course_n which_o before_o be_v earthly_a and_o all_o this_o by_o the_o entertainment_n of_o christ_n by_o faith_n who_o be_v the_o physician_n of_o the_o soul._n by_o this_o which_o i_o have_v say_v you_o may_v see_v what_o it_o be_v to_o be_v wicked_a and_o what_o it_o be_v to_o be_v convert_v which_o i_o think_v will_v be_v yet_o plain_o to_o you_o if_o i_o describe_v they_o as_o consist_v of_o their_o several_a part_n and_o for_o the_o first_o a_o wicked_a man_n may_v be_v know_v by_o these_o three_o thing_n first_o he_o be_v one_o who_o place_v his_o chief_a content_n on_o earth_n and_o love_v the_o creature_n more_o than_o god_n and_o his_o fleshly_a prosperity_n above_o the_o heavenly_a felicity_n he_o savour_v the_o thing_n of_o the_o flesh_n but_o neither_o discern_v nor_o savour_v the_o thing_n of_o the_o spirit_n though_o he_o will_v say_v that_o heaven_n be_v better_a than_o earth_n yet_o do_v he_o not_o real_o so_o esteem_v it_o to_o himself_o if_o he_o may_v be_v
of_o all_o which_o yet_o will_v never_o come_v to_o pass_v 5._o and_o god_n as_o ruler_n and_o lawgiver_n of_o the_o world_n have_v so_o far_o a_o practical_a will_n for_o their_o salvation_n as_o to_o make_v they_o a_o free_a deed_n of_o gift_n of_o christ_n and_o life_n and_o a_o act_n of_o oblivion_n for_o all_o their_o sin_n so_o be_v it_o they_o will_v not_o unthankful_o reject_v it_o and_o to_o command_v his_o messenger_n to_o offer_v this_o gift_n to_o all_o the_o world_n and_o persuade_v they_o to_o accept_v it_o and_o so_o he_o do_v all_o that_o as_o lawgiver_n or_o promiser_n belong_v to_o he_o to_o do_v for_o their_o salvation_n 6._o but_o yet_o he_o resolve_v as_o lawgiver_n that_o they_o that_o will_v not_o turn_v shall_v die_v and_o as_o judge_n when_o their_o day_n of_o grace_n be_v past_a he_o will_v execute_v that_o decree_n 7._o so_o that_o he_o thus_o unfeigned_o will_v the_o conversion_n of_o those_o that_o never_o will_v be_v convert_v but_o not_o as_o absolute_a lord_n with_o the_o full_a efficacious_a resolution_n nor_o as_o a_o thing_n which_o he_o resolve_v shall_v undoubted_o come_v to_o pass_v or_o will_v engage_v all_o his_o power_n to_o accomplish_v it_o be_v in_o the_o power_n of_o a_o prince_n to_o set_v a_o guard_n upon_o a_o murderer_n to_o see_v that_o he_o shall_v not_o murder_v and_o be_v hang_v but_o if_o upon_o good_a reason_n he_o forbear_v this_o and_o do_v but_o send_v to_o his_o subject_n and_o warn_v and_o entreat_v they_o not_o to_o be_v murderer_n i_o hope_v he_o may_v well_o say_v that_o he_o will_v not_o never_o have_v charge_v we_o to_o offer_v you_o mercy_n and_o to_o teach_v you_o the_o way_n of_o life_n both_o public_o and_o private_o and_o to_o entreat_v and_o beseech_v you_o to_o turn_v and_o last_o deride_v the_o way_n of_o god_n how_o easy_o can_v he_o have_v stop_v thy_o breath_n and_o tame_v thou_o with_o his_o plague_n and_o make_v thou_o sober_a in_o another_o world_n alas_o how_o small_a a_o matter_n be_v it_o for_o the_o lord_n almighty_a to_o rule_v the_o tongue_n of_o the_o profane_v railer_n and_o tie_v the_o hand_n of_o the_o most_o malicious_a persecutor_n or_o calm_v
