the_o spirit_n then_o do_v we_o high_o dishonour_v it_o we_o put_v it_o out_o of_o office_n as_o if_o any_o shall_v think_v to_o satisfy_v for_o their_o sin_n they_o great_o dishonour_v christ_n so_o if_o any_o think_v to_o mortify_v their_o sin_n of_o themselves_o this_o be_v a_o high_a dishonour_n to_o the_o holy_a spirit_n q._n 3._o how_o be_v the_o deed_n of_o the_o body_n of_o sin_n to_o be_v mortify_v through_o the_o spirit_n a._n this_o be_v to_o be_v do_v through_o the_o help_n by_o the_o assistance_n of_o the_o spirit_n as_o that_o good_a that_o be_v in_o man_n be_v frequent_o unwilling_a to_o behold_v our_o iniquity_n and_o we_o be_v very_o blind_a at_o home_n more_o apt_a be_v we_o as_o our_o lord_n teach_v we_o to_o see_v a_o more_o in_o our_o brother_n than_o to_o perceive_v or_o be_v sensible_a of_o a_o beam_n in_o our_o own_o eye_n many_o of_o our_o evil_n lie_v quite_o out_o of_o our_o sight_n though_o great_a and_o heinous_a as_o saul_n persecute_v christ_n till_o he_o be_v convince_v thereof_o from_o heaven_n as_o himself_o say_v he_o very_o think_v he_o ought_v to_o do_v what_o he_o do_v so_o natural_o man_n sin_v foul_o and_o think_v they_o ought_v to_o do_v as_o they_o do_v or_o they_o see_v no_o evil_a therein_o hence_o those_o speech_n what_o hurt_n be_v there_o in_o this_o and_o what_o hurt_n be_v there_o in_o that_o and_o as_o for_o those_o sin_n we_o do_v see_v we_o have_v natural_o a_o weak_a and_o slight_a sight_n of_o they_o we_o do_v think_v they_o to_o be_v so_o evil_a as_o indeed_o they_o be_v mal._n 1.6_o where_o be_v my_o fear_n say_v the_o lord_n of_o host_n unto_o you_o o_o priest_n that_o despise_v my_o name_n and_o you_o say_v wherein_o have_v we_o despise_v thy_o name_n ch_n 2.17_o you_o have_v weary_v the_o lord_n convince_v john_n 16.8_o when_o the_o spirit_n come_v it_o reprove_v or_o convince_v the_o world_n of_o sin_n second_o the_o spirit_n do_v bow_v our_o will_n and_o make_v we_o sincere_o willing_a to_o natural_a man_n his_o sin_n by_o use_v all_o cunning_a to_o hide_v it_o by_o deny_v it_o or_o cloak_v and_o excuse_v it_o as_o a_o man_n at_o cudgel_n seek_v to_o save_v his_o head_n so_o do_v a_o natural_a man_n to_o
therefore_o they_o hardly_o have_v the_o spirit_n in_o a_o special_a save_a way_n at_o least_o work_v with_o they_o who_o only_o seek_v to_o get_v sin_n down_o but_o mind_v not_o to_o get_v grace_n you_o in_o religious_a service_n the_o more_o hurt_v it_o cause_v you_o to_o do_v to_o other_o by_o offend_v by_o harden_v and_o cause_v they_o to_o stumble_v and_o whatever_o sin_n it_o be_v by_o which_o god_n name_n your_o profession_n and_o your_o soul_n most_o suffer_v that_o you_o especial_o strike_v at_o and_o war_n upon_o chief_o your_o chief_a sin_n your_o iniquity_n your_o master_n corruption_n which_o be_v in_o you_o the_o worst_a for_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n be_v a_o spirit_n of_o wisdom_n and_o when_o it_o afford_v its_o assistance_n it_o be_v according_a to_o true_a wisdom_n therefore_o it_o speak_v saul_n to_o be_v act_v by_o his_o own_o spirit_n in_o that_o he_o spare_v agag_n the_o chief_a of_o the_o amalekit_n against_o who_o god_n send_v he_o whereas_o of_o some_o that_o be_v of_o no_o great_a strength_n compare_v with_o those_o which_o they_o withstand_v david_n temptation_n to_o take_v away_o the_o life_n of_o shimei_n who_o curse_v he_o fling_v forth_o to_o execute_v his_o purpose_n against_o he_o which_o he_o have_v do_v have_v he_o not_o be_v stop_v as_o himself_o confess_v 1_o sam._n 25.34_o in_o very_a deed_n as_o the_o lord_n god_n of_o
