again_o into_o the_o judgment-hall_n and_o call_v jesus_n and_o say_v unto_o he_o be_v thou_o the_o king_n of_o the_o jew_n jesus_n answer_v he_o say_v thou_o this_o of_o thyself_o or_o do_v other_o tell_v it_o thou_o of_o i_o pilate_n answer_v be_o i_o a_o jew_n thou_o own_o nation_n and_o the_o chief_a priest_n have_v deliver_v thou_o unto_o i_o what_o have_v thou_o do_v jesus_n answer_v my_o kingdom_n be_v not_o of_o this_o world_n if_o my_o kingdom_n be_v of_o this_o world_n then_o will_v my_o servant_n fight_v that_o i_o shall_v not_o be_v deliver_v to_o the_o jew_n but_o my_o kingdom_n be_v not_o from_o hence_o pilate_n therefore_o say_v unto_o he_o be_v thou_o a_o king_n then_o jesus_n answer_v thou_o say_v that_o i_o be_o a_o king_n for_o this_o end_n be_v i_o bear_v and_o for_o which_o be_v not_o a_o few_o and_o be_v forward_o enough_o to_o believe_v he_o their_o king_n will_v have_v fight_v for_o he_o if_o he_o have_v have_v a_o mind_n to_o set_v himself_o up_o by_o force_n or_o his_o kingdom_n be_v so_o to_o be_v erect_v but_o my_o kingdom_n say_v he_o be_v not_o from_o hence_o be_v not_o of_o this_o fashion_n or_o of_o this_o place_n 2._o pilate_n be_v by_o his_o word_n and_o circumstance_n satisfy_v that_o he_o lay_v no_o claim_n to_o his_o province_n or_o mean_v any_o disturbance_n of_o the_o government_n be_v yet_o a_o little_a surprise_v to_o hear_v a_o man_n in_o that_o poor_a garb_n without_o retinue_n or_o so_o much_o as_o a_o servant_n or_o a_o friend_n own_o himself_o to_o be_v a_o king_n and_o therefore_o ask_v he_o with_o some_o kind_n of_o wonder_n be_v thou_o a_o king_n then_o 3._o that_o our_o saviour_n declare_v that_o his_o great_a business_n into_o the_o world_n be_v to_o testify_v and_o make_v good_a this_o great_a truth_n that_o he_o be_v a_o king_n i._n e._n in_o other_o word_n that_o he_o be_v the_o messiah_n 4._o that_o whoever_o be_v follower_n of_o truth_n and_o get_v into_o the_o way_n of_o truth_n and_o happiness_n receive_v this_o doctrine_n concern_v he_o viz._n that_o he_o be_v the_o messiah_n their_o king_n pilate_n be_v thus_o satisfy_v that_o he_o neither_o mean_v nor_o can_v there_o arise_v any_o harm_n from_o his_o pretence_n whatever_o it_o be_v to_o be_v a_o king_n tell_v the_o jew_n v_o 38._o i_o find_v no_o fault_n in_o this_o man_n but_o the_o jew_n be_v the_o more_o fierce_a luke_n xxiii_o the_o chief_a priest_n and_o the_o ruler_n and_o the_o people_n v_o 14._o say_a unto_o they_o you_o have_v bring_v this_o man_n unto_o i_o as_o one_o that_o pervert_v the_o people_n and_o behold_v i_o have_v examine_v he_o before_o you_o have_v find_v no_o fault_n in_o this_o man_n touch_v these_o thing_n whereof_o you_o accuse_v he_o no_o nor_o yet_o herod_n for_o i_o send_v you_o to_o he_o and_o so_o nothing_o worthy_a of_o death_n be_v do_v by_o he_o and_o therefore_o he_o will_v have_v release_v he_o for_o he_o know_v the_o chief_a priest_n have_v deliver_v he_o through_o envy_n mark_v xv._n 10._o and_o when_o they_o demand_v barrabbas_n to_o be_v release_v but_o as_o for_o jesus_n cry_v crucify_v he_o luke_n xxiii_o 22._o pilate_n say_v unto_o they_o the_o three_o time_n why_o what_o evil_a have_v he_o do_v i_o have_v find_v no_o cause_n of_o death_n in_o he_o i_o will_v therefore_o chastise_v he_o and_o let_v he_o go_v we_o may_v observe_v in_o all_o this_o whole_a prosecution_n of_o the_o jew_n that_o they_o will_v fain_o have_v get_v it_o out_o of_o iesus_n own_o mouth_n in_o express_a word_n that_o he_o be_v the_o messiah_n which_o not_o be_v able_a to_o do_v with_o all_o their_o art_n and_o endeavour_n all_o the_o rest_n that_o they_o can_v allege_v against_o he_o not_o amount_v to_o a_o proof_n before_o pilate_n that_o he_o claim_v to_o be_v king_n of_o the_o jew_n or_o that_o he_o have_v cause_v or_o do_v any_o thing_n towards_o a_o mutiny_n or_o insurrection_n among_o the_o people_n for_o upon_o these_o two_o as_o we_o see_v their_o whole_a charge_n turn_v pilate_n again_o and_o again_o pronounce_v he_o innocent_a for_o so_o he_o do_v a_o four_o and_o a_o five_o
