reproach_n her_o wonderful_a blockishness_n be_v note_v that_o she_o do_v not_o see_v god_n present_a for_o how_o can_v jerusalem_n be_v ignorant_a of_o god_n will_v which_o daily_o have_v the_o promise_n of_o salvation_n in_o her_o mouth_n and_o to_o who_o the_o law_n be_v often_o repeat_v can_v the_o jew_n be_v ignorant_a of_o christ_n who_o be_v many_o year_n conversant_a among_o they_o show_v forth_o his_o save_a power_n not_o only_o in_o teach_v but_o in_o work_v many_o wonderful_a work_n and_o miracle_n among_o they_o therefore_o our_o lord_n jesus_n in_o these_o word_n do_v note_v their_o blockishness_n and_o wilful_a blindness_n wherewith_o be_v hinder_v they_o can_v not_o see_v god_n offer_v himself_o unto_o they_o nor_o yet_o observe_v his_o mercy_n nor_o manifest_a argument_n of_o his_o wrath_n christ_n therefore_o here_o do_v teach_v that_o the_o citizen_n of_o jerusalem_n be_v author_n of_o their_o own_o destruction_n as_o also_o heal_v a_o scandal_n which_o rise_v from_o their_o voluntary_a and_o wilful_a ignorance_n for_o without_o doubt_n many_o be_v detain_v and_o keep_v back_o by_o the_o example_n of_o jerusalem_n from_o embrace_v christ_n and_o receive_v his_o gospel_n which_o they_o see_v be_v reject_v of_o they_o who_o bear_v the_o chief_a estimation_n of_o doctrine_n and_o wisdom_n he_o therefore_o do_v admonish_v that_o their_o incredulity_n and_o contumacy_n shall_v not_o offend_v any_o who_o be_v wilful_o blind_v with_o their_o own_o pride_n and_o blockishness_n do_v draw_v upon_o themselves_o god_n wrath_n and_o their_o own_o destruction_n let_v we_o now_o apply_v this_o unto_o ourselves_o and_o diligent_o consider_v whether_o it_o be_v not_o our_o case_n our_o lord_n jesus_n by_o the_o preach_n of_o his_o gospel_n have_v manifest_v unto_o we_o his_o love_n have_v reveal_v unto_o we_o his_o kindness_n have_v with_o his_o gospel_n give_v unto_o we_o a_o long_a peace_n and_o innumerable_a blessing_n but_o man_n be_v so_o besot_v with_o the_o vanity_n of_o the_o world_n and_o so_o blind_v with_o the_o pleasure_n of_o this_o life_n that_o they_o wink_v with_o their_o eye_n that_o they_o can_v see_v and_o stop_v their_o ear_n like_o the_o deaf_a adder_n that_o they_o can_v hear_v the_o sweet_a voice_n of_o christ_n call_v and_o allure_a they_o for_o it_o can_v be_v but_o man_n malicious_o blind_v themselves_o see_v the_o grace_n of_o god_n that_o bring_v salvation_n to_o all_o man_n have_v appear_v teach_v man_n to_o deny_v ungodliness_n and_o worldy_a lust_n 〈◊〉_d to_o live_v sober_o just_o
