this_o be_v a_o truth_n most_o sure_a and_o steadfast_a which_o saint_n to_o paul_n be_v so_o far_o from_o oppose_v in_o this_o seven_o chapter_n to_o the_o roman_n that_o in_o reality_n he_o aver_v and_o confirm_v it_o viz._n that_o if_o we_o do_v commit_v sin_n and_o work_v iniquity_n it_o will_v not_o excuse_v we_o to_o say_v that_o we_o do_v it_o unwilling_o the_o regret_n in_o sin_v may_v world_n must_v of_o necessity_n thus_o sensible_o affect_v they_o and_o where_o they_o be_v affect_v with_o pleasure_n there_o it_o be_v natural_a for_o they_o to_o desire_v as_o where_o they_o feel_v pain_n it_o be_v natural_a for_o they_o to_o abhor_v the_o thing_n which_o occasion_n and_o produce_v it_o these_o first_o lusting_n then_o and_o crave_n after_o forbid_a thing_n be_v natural_a and_o be_v make_v necessary_a before_o the_o prohibition_n come_v to_o make_v they_o sinful_a and_o if_o by_o a_o after-law_n man_n shall_v be_v condemn_v for_o be_v sensible_o affect_v with_o outward_a thing_n or_o for_o have_v a_o sudden_a lust_n and_o inclination_n after_o they_o upon_o their_o be_v so_o sensible_o affect_v with_o they_o then_o shall_v they_o be_v condemn_v for_o what_o they_o can_v not_o help_v and_o die_v for_o not_o perform_v impossibility_n but_o god_n neither_o can_v nor_o do_v make_v any_o law_n which_o exact_a thing_n so_o rigorous_a he_o punish_v nothing_o in_o we_o strive_v and_o struggle_v it_o can_v make_v head_n against_o the_o law_n in_o the_o mind_n although_o it_o can_v overcome_v it_o it_o have_v some_o interest_n in_o the_o will_n although_o it_o have_v not_o a_o interest_n sufficient_a for_o the_o will_n hearken_v to_o it_o for_o some_o time_n and_o consider_v of_o what_o it_o offer_v notwithstanding_o at_o last_o it_o reject_v its_o suit_n and_o through_o the_o solicitation_n of_o a_o more_o powerful_a favourite_n resolve_v against_o it_o and_o this_o power_n our_o lust_n have_v in_o we_o whilst_o we_o be_v young_a convert_v and_o of_o a_o more_o imperfect_a goodness_n nay_o in_o some_o very_a great_a temptation_n indeed_o such_o as_o be_v the_o fear_n of_o death_n and_o bodily_a torment_n especial_o they_o will_v struggle_v thus_o in_o those_o who_o be_v the_o most_o perfect_a christian_n of_o all_o but_o now_o when_o our_o lust_n be_v in_o this_o degree_n so_o as_o to_o stay_v upon_o our_o soul_n for_o some_o time_n and_o to_o
